A friend recommended Dr. Marquis and based on her testimony alone of how he helped eradicate mold symptoms and various other ailments in her family, my husband and I made the 5 hour drive to see him. Then payment removed and they stated those dates it was $60. Shouldn't the balance be $60 then a payment of $30 applied. Instead they just removed payments entirely. Sounds like an embezzlement problem to me. You never remove payments from a client register. And the fact they refuse to meet at the DAs office or offer their excuse in writing is a massive red flag. However, the administrative side of this practice is incredibly frustrating and disorganized. We have spent two months following a "maintenance schedule" that was explicitly confirmed by the office both in person and over the phone, only to be told two months later that their records were wrong and my son is now three visits behind. This level of miscommunication has effectively wasted two months of progress. Beyond this major error, the office is nearly impossible to reach. Calls are rarely answered, it takes days to get a return call, and portal messages are often met with short or dismissive responses. It is a shame that such a high level of clinical care is overshadowed by such poor office management. If you choose this office, be prepared to meticulously track every date and record yourself, as their internal communication is unreliable.

Under Dr Ramos' care, I've become aware that my worsening symptoms in recent years are 100% due to asthma, despite no anaphylaxis and minimal wheezing. I'm getting new, advanced treatment, that my old allergist never mentioned existing. Another issue was the red hair medical biller that got frustrated after I repeatedly clarified the charges that was not shown in my insurance account online that she kept on sending to me. I don't know if she did some training on billing base on how she conduct the charges. Tried to call the manager to complain but the manager's phone was intentionally not answered to get full and won't receive any calls (nice tactics). Another issue was the short caucasian older medical assistant who don't know how to give allergy shots. She just poke you the way she wants it. No proper training on how to give subcutaneous injection. She could be a good phlebotomist since she's good in getting the baselic vein. After all these issues I decided to look for another allergist. I was able to find one and requested Allergy Partners to transfer all my vials. After almost a month no update if it was transferred. So I called and the biller said, I owe them 300 plus and that was the reason they can not release my vials. I told her that i already paid it and the insurance also said the it was already paid. After the insurance called them and maybe they saw it in there system they apologized for the error. This incorrect billing is always the issue with this SLO office. Another one is that they will schedule you for an appointment and charge 40 dollars just to tell you to stay 30 minutes after the shot. Excellent income generating tactics.

My impression is that she is very young and inexperienced (in early 00's when I saw her) and not at very skilled or professional. More worried about not giving any advice or assessment which is what she is paid and supposed to do. More just passing you through and clipping the money ticket for the least amount of work and skill. The one issue I went to see her about she said I did not have. Though I'd had the issue for years. Awhen I saw another specialist they confirmed that I did have the issue Dr Molin said I didnt have. It had been years of increasing issues with massive detrimental effects and resulting in major complication as she had said the issue did not exist. Same issue years later was confirmed but so much damage done in the meantime as I had accepted what Dr Molin incorrectly told me. She should not be allowed to practice and should have her licence taken away for such extreme incompetance and negligence.
