This isn't a normal massage you leave your clothes on and you're in a room with everyone else getting massages so it's good for getting the big knots out I don't consider it a very relaxing massage but effective! They really get into all the spots on your feet. Parking is hard to find, I'm not sure if the lot near it includes their business, but I've parked there before and haven't had issues, there's also several street parking spots behind them since there is no parking on Jackson. It was $40/hr p/per for a massage; for two people with taxi/Lyft and tip, it was the equivalent of one person going to the spa next to the Hyatt Regency for an hour. Me and wifey went today. Called in to let them know it was two customers and almost closing time. Background: we had many massages from these parlors before but in California, so it's nothing new to us. We got the 40$ combo per person. Ambience was great, not too dark and not too bright. Zen type of music playing. They WERE NOT rude at all during the massage, we barely heard them spoke to each other. I felt like they communicated once or twice just to give each others a heads up. I only say that because it would be rude to receive a massage while the person massaging you is speaking a language you don't know, and laughing or giggling etc. The best part was the feet! We've been going to Meng's since 2022. The massages used to be fantastic. Our rating for this business has gone down since then. The past couple massages we've had were 3/5 stars at best but today they were just bad. My partner left feeling incredibly sore. He said his male masseuse put his full body weight on his lower back which caused him a lot of pain after the massage. My masseuse did a decent job on the legs and feet but she was rough. We've been to several Asian massage parlors but this was much rougher than I've experienced from here or other places. It felt like I was getting punched in the back and shoulders sometimes. Usually when we leave Meng's, they're very thankful and hospitable when we pay. They didn't even smile or thank us after we had paid and thanked them. They didn't say anything at all. I'm not sure what's changed in the past few months but this wasn't the Meng's experience we know. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because the price is still unbeatable. If you need a massage for cheap, it's certainly an option but whether or not you'll leave in pain is the question. read more

I felt like I was being punished. Plus her hands were rough, like one hand had a dry patches -- so it felt like being massaged with a scouring pad. The foot massage portion of the combo was okay as it was mostly fingertips ...but I could have skipped the whole back part. Also, I had a headphone in my right ear...it's like she didn't even care. Second time going to Meng's Dream and it was pretty good. The staff is friendly and the massage I received was quite good. The prices are quite comparable to other foot massage places around Seattle - we paid $30 for the hour-long "combo" massage. The reason that I am only giving this 3 stars is because there were a few annoying things that got in the way of making it a truly relaxing experience. First, because of the location of the shop there is quite a lot of street noise that enters the room and can be disruptive. During our massage I heard the street car go by several times with its clanging bell. Second, one of the staff who was giving a massage to my wife was also responsible for answering the phone. He had to interrupt her massage several times to answer her phone, and speak quite loudly to the caller. Will I go back? Perhaps. Do they have several things they could improve? I've been going to this place for years but they recently started getting aggressive with asking for tips. I find this very frustrating. Historically I have tipped anywhere from 15%-25% depending on the quality of service (imagine that), but last time I tipped 20% on an ok service and he asked me for $3 more! Today I tipped 18% on an ok services (not as good as the last one), and she pushed the back button on the machine to get to the screen with the set percentages (20%, 22%, etc). I was not happy. I put in my custom tip of $7, which was actually more than I should have tipped in the first place. Not sure if I'll be back, which is disappointing to say :( read more

The spa was very clean and spotless and the linens were fresh, which put my mind at ease. Please be patient with the individuals that work there as many of them do not speak English as their primary language. I picked the number 1 combo, which included my feet, back, and neck areas and some leg. It was very relaxing. The pressure was intense but it is just what my body needed. It was so relaxing. I was sore for a few days, but wound up feeling great. They give you a lot for your money here. My massage was only thirty dollars and I got a LOT out of it. 30$ for an hour just like everyone else says. They spend a lot of detail to get the pressure points around the body. They barely said any words to be the whole time. I walked in and pointed at the one I wanted off their whiteboard menu and he got to work. He started by putting my feet into super hot water, at first it was intense but then it was comfortable. He then went head, arms, feet, back in that order. Everything was heavenly and wonderful untill he reached my back. I rock climb a LOT and have never really stretched so I know the knots back there are like a mountain range. It felt like he murdered me as he dug his elbow deep into my knots continuously. It was definitely a test of my maximum pain tolerance. I didn't once resist or tap out and now that it's been 24 hours since the event the swollen and throbbing pain in my back is now gone and replaced with hopefully tender buff muscles. I would recommend his massage when you need some serious fix up. read more

I went to this massage store 3 times. I found them on Google, and the first time I was there, I was hesitant and a little scared because of the store location and light, but, trust me! It is a hole in the wall massage place and they offer legit massage service! The store has 6-7 massage beds in the store and also has a private room in case you want a whole body massage. What else can I say about Meng's Dream Foot Massage that hasn't already been mentioned? How about, don't judge a book by its cover! I walked in midweek around 1 pm and there was a full house of customers and workers. Luckily for me I had called in advance so there was just one seat available for me. I got paired up with an older, very petite lady. I thought to myself, gee whiz, why couldn't I get one of the guys with their strong muscles to massage me down? Heck, here goes nothing, it's only $30! My goodness this little old lady had hands and strength of WWE wrestlers. The moment she had me lay down flat and she began to tousle my hair and temples with brute force, I knew she was going to be a massage monster. She then proceeded to massage the shit out of my upper shoulders, neck, hands, feet, and finally the back. She worked every little knot out of me using various techniques and I could feel her miniature fingertips working hard the entire sixty minutes long. What does she eat? She's stronger than an ox! I felt so relaxed that despite sitting in the chair closest to the entrance and hearing chatter from customers come and go, I actually dozed off! Now you know that's a good ass massage if you can fall asleep in a communal space. Keep in mind, this lady does not speak a lick of English. Come pay time, it was like playing charades to explain how much change I wanted back and how much tip she should keep. Maybe having someone who speaks a little more English at the register would be my only suggestion. Oh and parking is somewhat of a clusterfuck. I happened to park in the lot where Loving Hut was and paid a couple dollars for an appetizer and was able to park 2 hours free. Park at your own risk! read more

Came here for the first time recently and it was great. I forgot to take a picture of the prices but the 1 hour combo is now $35, up from $30, which is still an amazing deal. My masseuse was great, he did deep tissue and my tight muscles were relieved. Very clean, the face hole in the table had a new paper towel with a heart cut out, it was so cute. He also washed his hands 2-3 times during the massage. I recommend this place to everyone, but if you are used to swedish massages at day spas that start at $120/hour, just know that Chinese massage places are a little different. You keep your clothes on and they place a towel over you. The default pressure is deep tissue, you have to specify light pressure if you're sore or just want to relax. It's very rare that these types of places have a dedicated receptionist, so sometimes your masseuse has to answer calls or have to step away from you for a minute to take care of something. This is all to be expected. You're getting a deep tissue massage for a third of the price. read more

This is your typical Chinese foot massage place, but they're great. On a Sunday night at 8, it was pretty empty - no other customers until we were already leaving. We had made an appointment and I assume that's recommended although that particular night we could've just walked in. For $30, your massage covers a LOT more than feet. The "combo" includes shoulders, legs, arms, and feet. And it's intense. Toward the end I felt a little like I was being beaten up, but it was worth it for how relaxed I felt after! My only complaint is the awkwardness of lying on the bed with your feet hanging into the soaking pool; my lower back definitely felt sore the next day and I think that's partially why. For our entire appointment, it was quiet and the massage therapists were nice and did a great job. I could see how it might get louder if more people are there, but we had no issues. read more
