Well, they have been extremely helping in my care at home for my senior home-bound mother. Due to her age and diminished health, it is increasingly difficult to get her out of the house. When I learned that they offered free in-home vaccinations for the Covid boosters after 2021, they have been the main source for my mom's vaccination for the ensuing boosters. On a recent Friday afternoon, they came to her home and gave her both the latest booster and the flu vaccine since winter is approaching. Her caregiver told me everything went smoothly like the previous two times. The difference this time is, when I got home from work, I asked whether they updated her vacc card but was told it was not. I called their office Monday and left a voicemail message, their normal protocol, and they called me back within the hour. Eric explained that the stamp is no longer required or being done. In reporting this to my mom's primary doctor, his nurse asked me for the vaccine brand so I called SFDPH again to confirm. Again, Eric called me back and patiently gave me the Moderna lot number for my mom's file. Five stars in making this process relatively seamless and keeping my mom safe from the threat of prominent illnesses that are and may be coming around.

Jonathan Piakus had agreed to come to do a second inspection at my home at night while also making a verbal promise to provide me with the scientific data from the World Health Organization (WHO) that informs San Francisco regulations regarding noise. When I did not receive the information, I began to suspect Piakus wasn't being honest with me, so I emailed him, reiterated that I really hoped Piakus would give me the WHO data on noise he had promised at least upon his arrival at my home for the inspection, and then, feeling that he really didn't give a damn about his promises, I asked him a direct question: "How would you like it if I installed a 55 decibel industrial fan outside your bedroom window, like the one a nearby restaurant installed just outside mine?" Immediately after receiving my email, Jonathan ran to his boss Stephanie Cushing and complained that I had threatened him with physical violence, claiming he no longer felt safe and felt too afraid to come to my apartment to test the decibel levels there. The director emailed me, and without providing a scintilla of evidence of any threat I posed to Piakus, she cancelled my appointment for the previously agreed-upon night-time inspection and, as well, she cancelled the appointment of my neighbor upstairs who also suffered from the same noise harassment as I but who had never said a single word to Piakus or Cushing. (Is it the director's job is to protect male snowflakes from direct questioning?). My neighbor felt completely mystified by Piakus and Cushing's cancelling of his appointment with no explanation, and consequently felt that it was I who had been the guilty party for his loss after all. The Environmental Department of Health does not do its job; it's very sloppy in its measurements and scientific standing; it protects itself against any direct questions by the citizens of San Francisco, and it refuses to entertain any notion that its judgment at any time might be in error, behaving always like a mini-fiefdom without conscience and no humane concern for its clients. It's a robotic bureaucracy, plain and simple. Finally, Ms. Cushing banned me from ever making an inquiry regarding noise again. Power unlimited? I "offended" the Grand Panjandrum and must be exiled? This wasn't the first time I had had dealings with the Environmental Health Department of Public Health and its inspector cronies. It was because the first inspector gave me such specious information about the noise level readings in my apartment, even misinforming me that the department did not provide any opportunity to have a night inspection, that I had the consequent sad and injurious encounter with the likes of Piakus and Cushing that I did. It took me a good while to get beyond and survive the embarrassment, humiliation, psychological gaslighting, bullying, scapegoating or trauma that this department and its nefarious employees caused. I am emotionally free now to tell the truth and to name the names. The Environmental Health Department did nothing to remedy my noise problem, has no scientific basis for its so-called standards, and made matters unnecessarily and preposterously worse for me just for having contacted it and seeking its guidance. Tax dollars are wasted on this puerile and self-aggrandizing bureaucracy.

Officer Salcedo and I walked the perimeter and she wasn't there rolling around the large dark blue trash can. The trash can was gone. Before I called I walked back around and saw her. She changed her clothes, and took her hair down. When the Officer gave me the incident card the number said 0001. Case numbers do not start with numbers like this. When I asked why he used this number he said " we just got a new system" and yours is the first incident I've written up today. He put his badge as 46. Badge numbers are 5 digits. He wrote Patrol Check. This was definitely a Suspicious Circumstance. Has anyone heard that the MVPD has gotten a new system that generates incident report numbers starting with 0001? There is still known Prostitution going on in that Church. Michael Espinoza who goes by "Uncle Michael" is there on a regular basis. I pointed out that there are signs now up letting people know where upstairs is and downstairs on the outside of the doors. There is nobody allowed in the Church. People are only allowed during the hand out times specified on the boards outside and wall.

He was dressed up like an "office guy" but got right down on his knees to try to figure out what the problem was, removing the cover to the water meter by the sidewalk and using an old cup to scoop out the water that was filling up the meter. Omg in the middle of writing this review he actually called again to say that he was going to send some people out to replace the box and make sure the leak wasn't close to the water line (which would save my landlady a TON of money in plumbing fees, if that does turn out to be the solution). Followed the instructions to a tee and still felt like it was not properly installed. I am so glad we followed our gut and reached out to CHP for a safety seat inspection. We spent a little over an hour with volunteer Frank Yee who not only inspected our installation and corrected it (it was done wrong!) but also taught us how to adjust the seat for baby's growth over time, how to safely place them in the buckled seat and how to install the seat without a base when we are traveling in other cars that are not ours. Over a year I have been trying to get a response from anybody at the EPA regarding drastic changes I've seen to our air and air quality in Southern California.(see photo). To the best of my knowledge, they DO NOT CARE about the air quality in California, and are simply there as a prop for the Public, to give a false sense that someone is addressing the 'crap' (for lack of proper technical term) that has drastically altered the weather and appearance of our sky. You feel better calling it 'CON-trails?' That's fine. WHATEVER it is, it looks disgustingly ugly, and we're all breathing it. The Public is continually referred to the EPA, for having jurisdiction over this, and they simply DO NOT address it. Not even open for discussion. Never thought I would need to call the EPA for anything. Now that I have, I find out they will not even address my inquiry!! What good are they, then?!
