We ordered the margarita pizza with pepperoni. A tiramisu and cannoli for dessert. It was all absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. The gentleman that waited on us was very helpful. This was definitely worth the visit. It's a small place but cute and cozy. Highly recommendation Day 2 of my vacation and I am here again. Same pizza but different dessert. We had La Bomba and lemon cello truffle.

Delicious regular and gluten free! Outdoor seating and highchairs available, great menu.

I've been coming to this restaurant for several years and it's always great! Service + food is always 5 stars. This location is right off of 12th & Franklin St in NE DC. This time we ordered 2 pizzas (diavolo and Prosciutto cotto). Both were very good! I liked the spiciness of the diavolio best; bae liked the other one best). Together, they were a great contrast! I LOOOVE their pizza crust!! If you want the pizza cut into slices, you have to request this. Even if I forget to ask, it's not difficult to do it myself. We also got the La Bomba (dessert). We've ordered this many times in the past because it tastes great! It's a warm dessert of pizza dough filled with nutella. That description doesn't fully reflect its deliciousness, but you should try it! One order comes with 2 pieces.

I've heard great things about Menomale and it did live up to the hype. My wife and I went in to order take out. They have a very detailed menu with plenty of options so it took a while to determine what we wanted. It would have been nice to have some images associated with the menu but nevertheless when I saw the brick oven I knew what I was in for. My wife just wanted a pepperoni pizza so the host explained that it is possible, just a small deviation from one of the items on the menu. The food took about 10 minutes to prepare. I can't lie, my wife said this was one of the best pizzas she's ever had (prior to our visit her favorite pizza was Andy's). The verde calzone was fantastic as well. You can taste and tell the authenticity of their food in each bite. We visited south of Italy a few year ago, Palermo, and might I say the quality of food at Menomale matched our pizza experience in Italy. I will be back to this spot.

I got the diavola : excellent My friend got another pizza, I can't remember the name, but it was bland. Maybe from the pizza pic it can be figured out. They have nice seating but the tables are close together. I liked their patio seating too. Bathroom is clean. Parking is in the street or there is an adjacent shopping center with a free lot. The main issue I have is the service. This isn't the place to chill out. They seem to want customers in and out, especially as it approaches their closing time. I get that staff want to leave but I've been many other za places and this one did stand out. Maybe take out is better suited for them?

So I'm an Italian lover! And this was taking me back to the feel of a piece of Italy in DC. The restaurant was full right at 5 p.m. My take - I'm not sure I'd come back. The pizza was good but the sauce was too watery. The toppings fell off and I had to use a fork to eat. The salad was good. For the price, I wouldn't come again. Just not to die for for me. But I'm telling you the rest of DC loves this place so please come try for yourselves.

I hadn't been back in years and once I went. I couldn't remember what I've been doing for pizza since I've been gone. I love that they have a closed in patio. Service is great and the pizza I had during dine in was amazing. The one I took home was a little overdone so i do recommend. Maybe ordering your pizza well. You enjoy the beautiful ambience.

I think they take reservations but we were able to grab a bar spot. Are drinks pricey? What do you think? It's a cocktail bar in DC. The drinks we tried were pretty tasty, even the mezcal one which I thought was a refreshing take. The wall shows some of the drinks on the menu and the ingredients/glass it comes in which I thought was a nice touch. Bartenders were friendly but not too chatty as they were super busy but you never waited long for a drink. The bourbon drink with the whipped honey was our favorite but the gin drink that was pink was also fantastic. For food I did try the buffalo chicken dip, pretty large and tasty (not too spicy) and loved the super crisp celery and the fritos. It tasted like a rainbow--just bright and with a really delicious after taste. I should have stopped at the rose but after my trying my friend's, i had to have one! We initially came for happy hour, but moved to the cocktail menu. The hh was a bit limited, but the drinks were priced overall pretty reasonably for the area. My one complaint is the wine glasses were so teeny. Overall though, I would recommend this bar. Bonus: cheese balls when you sit down! I believe there is also a limited food menu (think nachos) for the after work or late night crowd.

For a solid hour, you're like, "Wow... I am bougie like they say." Then the bartender calls out "Last call!" And as you take one final dramatic sip of your fancy drink, the lights come on like someone just hit the emergency button and whoa. Wait just one minute, I don't want to go home. That's when the migration begins. In Union Market, there's a place where all the local residents take their talents once the posh restaurants shut down and that place is Last Call Bar, the bar that welcomes you and your rapidly declining standards with open arms. And the food? Oh, the food is a spiritual journey. They kick things off with Jell‑O shots, which already tells you exactly what kind of night you're about to have. But it gets even better. They have food and the menu is full of options only a person who drank 5 cocktails could truly appreciate, the kind of late‑night masterpieces that would horrify you at noon but taste like gourmet brilliance after midnight. I'll take a hot dog please! The vibe is pure "we should've gone home but didn't" energy. The music is loud enough to drown out your responsibilities. The crowd is a mix of restaurant refugees, people who swore they were having an early night, and folks who are definitely lying to themselves about how early they have to wake up. It's a diverse crowd. More on the younger side but a sprinkle of adults that have kids in college or corporate jobs. The bartenders deserve awards for dealing with customers who insist they're "totally fine" while holding onto the bar like it's a support beam. And honestly? That's the magic. The best memories happen during the real happy hours of our days, bedtime hours, when you're either having way too much fun in the sheets or making the kind of decisions you'll laugh about (or regret) the next day. Last Call Bar isn't curated. It isn't polished. It isn't pretending. It's the place where your bougie persona quietly steps aside and you says, "Let's get a hot dog". If you want a place where the night gets a second wind and your dignity takes a short break, welcome home. Let's get into it! Drinks - Perfectly made! Way to go to the bartender! And what's even better is there's an option where you can add Pop Rocks into them! Never in my 30 years of life did I ever consider adding Pop Rocks into a Jell-O shot but wow! It was incredible! Service has a bartender or two behind working the counter. The drinks are really cheap which you can't say much for DC area bars. The food menu I wish was a bit more expansive but if you just come here for drinks the menu is solid and price competively
