Stopped in for a salad and pizza. Margherita pizza was big, full of flavor, with a nice crisp bottom and just a hint of burn on parts of the outer crust...suitable for folding and enjoying. Wait staff very attentive and a pleasant atmosphere. It didn't take long for inside and outside tables to get full and bar area patrons to take their place at the bar. Left with cannolis that were perfect. Going again for their advertised happy hour deal. A great place to hang with friends or family.

See previous reviews!! Stellinia in Inion Market district is absolutely amazing. They have amazing food, and service to match it. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant!!!

We stopped in for Friday lunch. We started with the fried artichoke - unique with a delicious aioli. We shared the lasagna and bresaola and rucola (white) pizza recommended by our wonderful waiter Nebly. The lasagna was rich and flavorful with thick lasagna noodle. The pizza was cooked perfectly and wood fired. Cocktails were delicious as was the tiramisu. I can't wait to come back and try other things.

Not sure how this place has a Michelin bib, and has for a number of years. Came in on a Sunday; the place wasn't busy, but the service was horribly slow. We ordered the calamari type appetizer which had more chips than actual seafood. We also got the piccante pizza which was so greasy it was soggy. We'd been excited to try this spot and it was a real bummer.

Highly recommend their happy hour deal - $25 for a margherita pizza, an arancini, a mozzarella stick, chips, and a cocktail! Just tried restaurant week with a friend; $55 for one person or $100 for two people. We got the Brussels sprouts, the eggplant appetizer, both pasta options, and pizzas. We ended up using inKind to pay for 20% off our bill. Cute spot for date night and they have a deal on wine on Wednesdays!

BLISS. Worth every second and penny (time and money). Perfect. Amazing ambiance and service. Blown away by the pizza - boom! The inside is bright and fizzy, like a spritz. Prices are more than fair and location is great. The CACIO & PEPE pizza was insane. I'd eat it every night if I could. Don't cheat yourself, you can't order anything bad here. 110 stars.

Calamari and shrimp appetizer was quite tasty. Serving size exceeded expectations. Pizza tasted great and the service was fast and friendly. Dining room was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean.

The happy hour is an amazing deal and the perfect spot for after work drinks or before a night out with friends! When I've gone service has been pretty good!

Service is prompt and the food comes out quickly. It's a nice casual spot to come by with friends or even alone to watch a game. They also offer dairy-free cheese and gluten-free crust, so quite an accommodating spot for a variety of people. I tried the cacio e pepe pizza and the piccante pizza. The crust was too dense and also burnt in several spots. I can appreciate a nice char, but there were spots that were a bitter burnt black. The cacio e pepe pizza was fine but I wish there was more fresh black pepper on top. The piccante was a bit too oily for me, but I appreciated the spicy kick it had to it!

Stellina Pizzeria has several location options in DC and VA. This was my second time visiting but first visit to the Union Market location. We ordered the ceasar salad, lasagna and a pepperoni pizza. The ceasar salad was fresh but the dressing was just a little too heavy. The pizza was good. I only had a small bite of the lasagna and it was flavorful. If you are a dessert person, try the bumbolino. Fried donuts with Nutella filling.

We were walking from the nearby NoMa Metro stop to our Hilton hotel and smelled this place before we saw it! Fabulous and obviously enticing! We decided to land here for dinner and SO GLAD we did. Homemade pasta and pizza, arancini, artichokes, cannoli, extensive cocktail list, and relaxed atmosphere made for a wonderful pit stop with a plan to return to try more menu items. My order of squid ink pasta was delicious and chock full of seafood, tender pasta, and a delectable sauce, which will be a meal to remember for a long, long time. Our server, Ken, was an absolute delight and made our dining experience sitting at the bar so much better. Quick with the quips! We also met one of the owners who told us he hails from Italy (Lake Como area) and recommended the Neapolitan style pizza with New York style also as an option. The Margherita pizza was reported to be phenomenal by my dining companions who raved about the light fluffy crust. We wish we were in town longer to take in more dining at this establishment. 10/10 experience!

All the way down to the mayo wallpaper in the restroom! As a Dukes Mayo fan, that's awesome! To the food and drink. We had a pickle soda and local sour beer. Both were great and tasty on a hot day. We had three various appetizers from the cool ranch onion rings to the Seattle fries with a mix of dope beet salad in there. All were good, the onion rings were definitely my favorite and judging by all the orders I saw around, it was everyone else's as well. The mains were the RPG and the fish special. The RPG was a bit heavy on the mayo, next time would ask for less mayo but it was still delicious as a char su pork fan. This hit the mark. The fish sandwich was tangy and spicy which made it delicious. It was a bit messy and the bun didn't hold up great but that didn't detract from the flavors. All in all this place is a gem of a sandwich shop / bar. Would recommend if you are in the area.

I heard good things about their sandwiches. My go to is normally Mangialardo's on Pennsylvania Ave in SE DC or Carl's Subbs on Rhode Island Ave in NE DC. I think I will stick to both of them next time. The staff was very friendly and helpful to me as a first timer but the sandwich was totally disapointing! NOT worth it, at all. I ordered a 9 inch capicola, ham, and cheese sub on the hard roll. The roll was very good and fresh but I couldn't taste the cheese or meat in the sandwich because there wasn't enough of it. I tasted the bread, the toppings of lettuce, tomato and onions. I decided to deconstruct the sandwich and found exactly 4 very thinly sliced pieces of meat and 2 very thinly sliced pieces of cheese as pictured clearly in the photographs. I also noticed that the they have different prices for the same type of meats. For example, they have a $29.99 per pound Capicola and one for $9.99 a pound. I asked which went on the sandwich and of course it was the cheaper one. That wasn't surprising and getting my sandwich back to the office. I decided not to eat the rest of the meatless sandwich and just take the loss. I wouldn't come back nor would I recommend a friend to try it

Simple and straightforward ordering process, just remember what you ordered because they don't take names. I go between the Crunchy Boi and the Marisa Tomei Eats Free, which are both great. The Crunchy Boi is probably their most popular sandwich and it's lighter than you would think considering it's filled with potato chips. I think it's worth trying once. The Marisa Tomei, on the other hand, has never failed me. It's balanced with an absurd amount of arugula against the meat, and it's never dry. The portions are generous, like you could definitely split it into two meals, but they're not so heavy that you couldn't finish a sandwich in one sitting.
