After doing a quick Yelp search, I decided to give ay Hair Salon a chance and called the number listed on Yelp (310-373-5030). To my surprise, I was able to secure a same-day appointment and all I had to tell May (the owner) is that I would be arriving in 15 minutes. [Appointment]: May is available from Monday to Saturday and customers need to call for availability. [Where is the salon?]: May works inside of V. Anthony Salon. The moment I stepped into the salon, one of the employees immediately asked, "Are you here to see May?" so don't worry about not seeing a sign that says "May Hair Salon." [Price]: $35 for a men's haircut including two shampoos. [Experience]: May was excellent and pays great attention to detail. She started by shampooing and massaging my hair thoroughly and then meticulously cut my hair after I showed her a picture of an Asian hairstyle with brushed-forward short hair and a drop fade. Once the haircut was done, she shampooed my hair again and finished with styling. [Conclusion]: It is been a long time since I have had two shampoos in one haircut session for less than $40 (not including tip). I would definitely come back again and I highly recommended May.

It's hard to find a stylist to cut Asian hair in Torranceand Tony does a great job. Tony also speaks English. I brought him a picture of what I wanted and he did a great job of cutting like how it was in the picture. He does a nice taper fade.
