While I didn't appreciate the attitude or the energy, I respected the policy. Today, I arrived at 4:44 PM for my 4:40 PM appointment -- within the 5-minute window. I was greeted by another team member, but then Naomi came out from the back at 4:45 PM and said, "It's 5 minutes past your appointment -- you'll need to reschedule." Had she been at her station, she would've seen I arrived at 4:44. What stood out again was her attitude and tone -- nearly identical to our previous encounter. I decided to cancel my membership and explained to her that customer service is critical. My last two interactions with her lacked professionalism and any genuine effort toward customer care. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing way to end the week. As an executive in my own company, I refuse to accept back-to-back negative experiences, especially when they come from someone who clearly isn't happy in their role. I think I know why I was treated this way multiple times but I'm not going to go there. I'm simply leaving a review so people don't have to experience what I did back to back times.

I've had my hair cut by Coco 3x now and she is seriously a close second and that's just because of the years of time one person has spent on my hair! Just someone who genuinely cared about the experience and wanted to make it right. That alone deserves credit because that is rare these days. So I went back. And to be clear, this has never been about the stylists. Today just reinforced that. Haircut was phenomenal. Stylist was phenomenal. Always has been. These folks consistently deliver great cuts and great service. Zero complaints there. Ever. Today's experience was smooth, respectful, and exactly what I expect when I walk in the door. In and out. No chaos. No mystery math happening on the board. My original frustration really comes down to the queue system, which feels more like a corporate-level problem than a local one. When your entire value prop is speed, tech, and predictability, the queue matters. A lot. I was probably more fired up last time than I needed to be, and that frustration spilled over harder than it should have. So yeah, I'm owning that part. I'm glad I gave it a second chance. I'm glad the manager cared enough to reach out. I'm glad the team showed up like professionals. And I'm glad the haircut was excellent, because that part has never failed me. Respect earned. I received a cut from this location a few weeks ago and it was a great cut, hence the stars…read more However, I came back today TWO times to get a cut and was skipped over in the queue both times. I booked with a particular stylist (Amanda) and checked in. The wait time said 0 minutes. I had a toddler with me so I was grateful to have their "please arrive by this time" feature on their app. Next thing I know, my wait jumps to 28 minutes, potentially because she had to take a lunch break? I'm not sure. No one said why I had to wait an additional half hour when the app said to arrive by XX time. I rescheduled for Jaclyn and was told to arrive by 5:30. I got to the store at 5:20, checked in, and my wait time said 10 minutes. She was finishing with a client. Next thing I know, she calls someone else and my wait time went back up to half an hour. There's no point in using the app to check in, let alone picking a stylist you want to get a cut from, for them to only skip over you and increase your wait time. Maybe it's because I had my daughter with me? Sadly, I get my hair cut every two weeks and tip almost 50% on every cut. I guess I'll be finding a new shop. I've been using Sports Clips consistently since 2018, so I'm really bummed. If you have a schedule you need to stick to, I suggest finding a different place to get a cut.
