I called Friday and asked if they were open on Sunday to measure for a suit rental for an upcoming wedding on the eighth. On Friday the person that answered the phone sounded welcoming positive and was willing to complete an order and get me taken care of. Fast forward to today, I went in and was sort of greeted by a young lady with an attitude, and she passed me along to a young man who informed me that there would be an expedite fee, but they could probably still get it done. Seemed like I was bothering him we walked across the floor to go and look at suits or whatever we were gonna do and he all of a sudden got a question from another customer which he went ahead and broke off from me and assisted. Needless to say, I walked out of Men's Wearhouse. I went over to Dillards and I purchased a suit not going into Men's Wearhouse again. read more

customer service is a joke. my husband and his groomsmen went there to get fitted for their suits about nine months ago for our wedding. The guy that rang them up after they had ordered all their suits told them OK your total is $77 for each of the men. they did not tell them that there was more to be paid for the guy made it sound like that was the total that he had to buy for everything because he never said hey, so you know $77 is due today but we do have an outstanding balance after that so you have to pay when you pick up the soups. We were never told that we were just told a total of $77. So now here we are two days before our wedding and picking up our suits being told that we have a huge outstanding balance due when our wedding is literally in two days and have no time to have another alternative as well as the budget is super tight and now we're shocked with this outstanding balance. Had they been more open and honest and upfront about the total we would not be in this mess. Big lesson I learned this place will not be completely honest with you about what ALL you owe. Not to mention they called me several times, which was amazing throughout the period of after we ordered our suits just calling to make sure that we got the order right and everything was good on our end and they were really good about that however, they never mentioned an outstanding balance we still had so I assumed we paid for EVERYTHING when we ordered the suits, now I am stressing and crying over this two days before the wedding. The guy we dealt with when we picked up the shoes and the lady at the desk were very rude and make nasty comments. My younger brother (18 years old) recently went to Men's Wearhouse to purchase his first suit. He immediately requested assistance from a customer service rep as he needed some guidance on the best suits to buy for his style. He ended up purchasing 2 suits and spent well over $800. He was told that alterations and suite satisfaction were guaranteed. He was very excited to pick up his "investment," and was hoping he would get exactly what he was looking for. After all, they communicated they have the best tailor in Billings working on his purchases and "she is so talented she could sew a hood on a suit!" (I don't know why that is entirely necessary, or let alone an adequate gage of skill for a tailor, but to each his own.) Also, he was told that additional alterations were free. Well, needless to say, nothing this store guaranteed came to fruition. His suit fit HORRIBLY! He was swimming in the thing!!! Think Steve Harvey style... or a humungous Zoot Suit. He was looking for something much more modern, comparable to a suit that fit similar to all of the ones the customer service reps were wearing around the store. Even worse, when he requested more alterations, they charged him an additional $224 because the alterations were going to be different than the first ones. WOW! First off, I would be embarrassed if I had a customer walking out with a suit that fit so horribly coming out of my store. It was the most ill fitting suit I have ever seen! Second, where is the customer service???? Why wouldn't the customer service reps ask questions from the purchaser to make sure they are happy with their product? My guess, they brushed him off as some naive kid and just wanted him out of the store. I hate to go there, but DAMN! He received little interaction from the customer service reps even after he communicated he was a first time suit buyer. Third, since the customer was not happy with the finished product, how is it acceptable to continue to gouge their patron for more money when they obviously did not get what they wanted the fist time. This was a very disappointing experience. When trying to communicate our concerns with the whole process, we received nothing but excuses and very rudely defensive responses (especially from the blond tailor that was there that day). If you are in the market to purchase a new suit, the options in Billings are limited, but to make sure you get what you want it would probably cost about the same amount to go somewhere that provides a little more concern towards customer satisfaction. read more

My son got blood on his only dress shirt required for work, thirty minutes before work. most stores do not have long enough sleeves or long enough in the torso. in desperate need we were waiting out side for them to open when one of the staff came out and asked us if we were dropping off a tuxedo . I explained our situation and he asked us to come in even though they were not opening for another 30 minutes. we were able to get him to work on time and properly dressed. When I arrived, no one acknowledged me, and after ten minutes it was clear no one was going to. I've been to the Billings Men's Wearhouse several times before, and have always received stellar, personalized customer service. The staff has always been professional, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I went in looking for a new suit a couple weeks ago, and this store was able to alter one off the shelf to fit my weird shape (yes, other stores in town offer alterations, too, but I wanted to pay $300, not $700, for a suit). Timeframe for the alterations was less than 10 business days, and turned out great. The associate assisting me this last time was great to talk to; he did great at demonstrating a professional, yet relaxed, atmosphere. He had many great tips on suit details, and was able to answer all my questions (yes, all this information is available with a quick internet search at home, but it was much more enjoyable learning it from this individual). Will most certainly go back again. read more

I've had more problems with weddings here at mens were house and there new manager has no people skills when it come to people first wedding there manager has no compassion and they screwed up on days on the wedding 2nd time one of my kids went thru there not good check out other places first read more

I had an extremely poor experience at mens wearhouse, my suit (purchased for a wedding) came in so I went in to get fitted. I put the suit on and was absolutely swimming in it. The man helping me asked if I wanted it bagged up to go. I asked him if he thought that swimming in the suit looks good. He said it wasn't his style and shrugged it off. I told him that I would like it adjused so it fit properly. He made his measurements and alteration notes then told me it would be $60(a faCT not disclose before purchase). As this was for a wedding I was stuck so I paid the extra for alterations. I came back in once they were done and tried them on, while better the suit was still I'll fitting. One of they're tailors measured me this time and after another fee and two more weeks I came back in. More alterations were made and more time to wait for my suit. Finely the suit seemed acceptable after paying an extra $100 in alteration costs. I wore it to the wedding and realized the suit sleeves were still too long, so I brought it back to take advantage of the. Lifetime free adjustments I had accrued by having to have almost everything on the suit adjusted. I went in and their "master" tailor was there. I explained I needed to have the sleeves adjusted and she rudely informed me that I had to get the jacket cleaned for an added fee before she would even touch it. I asked her if wearing it an hour at a wedding made it dirty. She said it didn't matter and said it had to be cleaned(the jacket was off the shelf clean). I informed her I was very disappointed in the customer service and the constant added costs to their free adjustments as well as letting her know I would not be back to do business with them again. She looked straight at me and just said okay then walked off. Just like others have said if you need a suit in this town there are plenty of local tailors that would love to give you great service at much better prices.
