Have used Men's Wearhouse in the past with positive results. However, we went in two weeks ago and purchased a suit for a wedding in mid July. Had to be ordered in his size. When it came in we were informed that their inhouse tailor was on an extended vacation and could not do our alterations. They made a few suggestions of local people we could try. No warm transfer, no notice/heads up and no concern that we would not have purchased a suit had we known the alterations were up to us to arrange. We went from the salesman joking with us about having so much time, to questioning if we'll find anyone who can get the suit ready in time for the wedding. They work with deadlines all the time - not even acknowledging they put us in a bind is not acceptable. read more

Have come here twice thus far during work travel and both times have found very helpful people who are friendly and eager to take care of you. Even though it's a pretty small store, I've found it to have a nice selection, and again, the first time they didn't have something in my size I easily found at my home town Mens Warehouse in Texas. I'll continue to come back here if I'm traveling and need a new shirt, belt, socks, or maybe even a sport coat if I really want to mix it up in the road. read more

I arrived at the store looking to spend $1500-$2000 for suits for myself and my wedding party. There were a half dozen staff members hanging out with their hands in their pockets looking for something to do. I was told that they were too busy to help us and that we would need an appointment. Keep in mind that there were two employees for every customer in the store. I told the manager that I didn't have a lot time to do this in my life. He replies that he doesn't have time to do this today. Good move dipshit... Going to take my 2K and go elsewhere for this and any future purchases. Ordered three tuxes for a wedding. Ordered vests with the tuxes. Went in and got fitted by one of their employees. When day arrived for final fitting and to try them on none of them were correct. There were also no vests and nobody had ordered them. My son got professionally fitted by them and when he tried his pants on they weren't even close to correct. One pair of pants was inches to short and another pair was to king They stated they would make the repairs and they would be available for pick up the next day Arrive the next day and the order is not ready. Was told that it would not have been ready that day regardless bc they had to order them. Arrived the next day, day of wedding. Everything is there and ready. Get home and one of the vests was an extra small Needless to say one member of my wedding party had to go without a vest. For the price they charge, this was let down in so many ways. $200 per tux and none of the sizing was right, vests weren't ordered, when they arrived one isn't even close to fitting anyone in my party. Lack of accountability and care for people's time. Expecting people to make a trip to get fitted, final fitting, mess up fitting, and then pick up day of wedding just ridiculous. If ever need a tux again will be going elsewhere. Ridiculous experience. read more

This is the 2nd suit that I have bought from this Mens wear house and it will be my last. Both suits they charge a ridiculous amount for "custom tailoring" and both times my pant legs are way too short and they didn't take in or fit my suit jacket at all. Not to mention they only showed me the most expensive suits, now I should've insisted on seeing a lower price, but they never even offered. And then they told me the suit would be ready in 2 weeks. I waited 3 weeks and finally called and asked if it was ready. They exclaimed "yes it has been ready" I then asked "why didn't you call me and tell me?" I went here looking for a couple suits and they had a good promotion going on. I wasn't planning on buying but the assistant manager (Seth) helping me picked out some suits that suited me very well. Unacceptable fitting for a wedding suit. Only had a few days before the event to correct the fitment problems so could not get a suit to fit properly or look good for buddy's wedding. When returning suit, complained to Manager (Carlos) who was not empathetic and acted rude and unprofessional. He said, "put the suit on for me"... then said "fits perfectly"... and basically said we did not know how a suit should fit. Indifferent and a surly attitude from Carlos assures we will NEVER return to Men's Warehouse Peoria and we will inform all our friends about our unacceptable service experience. It's ok but every time they have the buy one get one free sale, they seem to never have the second pair in stock. In my case, pants. This has happened to me two times now and in one case it took over a month to receive the second pair. The most the recent time it's been over two weeks and still no pants. Also wanted to get the pair I did get neatly pressed and the machine was broken. read more

We flew in from Washington state on Thursday for a wedding on Saturday and the airline lost our bags. We called Men's Wearhouse because the company I work for partnes with them and we have had good luck with them in the past. They were beyond helpful! The whole staff came together to help, but we worked with Mandi who was fantastic. They hemmed and tailored the pants on the spot and we left with everything we needed for the wedding. I don't recommend the airline we came on, but I will continue to recommend Men's Wearhouse to all my customers and friends. Thank you for helping us ease the stress in this very stressful situation. What a difference between this Men's Wearhouse and the one in Peoria. It was all we could do to get someone to acknowledge our existence at this store and then the salesman knew less about the store merchandise than we did. He actually told us they didn't carry "slim fit" shirts which they do. We heard another very upset customer complaining about the unexpected tailoring charges. We saw clothing on the floor, and unfolded clothing laying on top of folded clothing. The store was basically a mess. We will continue to drive 45 minutes to Peoria to get good knowledgeable service and shop in a clean store. read more

Walked in to the store, and immediately a salesman with the name that starts with an R, and ends with an L comes up to me, and my girlfriend, and immediately starts pushing us for details, and asking questions after we just told him we just need to look for a few minutes because we were heading back to Chicago. I told him we were leaving in 10 minutes. He then started to give me a very bad attitude as he walked away, and said he was going to watch tv for 10 minutes. I don't know why a salesman would be watching tv when he should be attending to other customers, or at least looking busy. When my girlfriend just grabbed a suit to look at closer he came back, and took it out of her hand, and said that this store does not allow people to try on, or take suits off the rack. He said this is like a jewelry store, and a car dealership. This was highly confusing because I worked at many car dealerships, and at dealerships they allow people to take cars out for test drives, and at least they allow people to go inside them, and take a look around. Jewelry stores also allow people to try on jewelry to see how it looks. After his attitude, and jerkish remarks I told him we are leaving, and we left. We were there for a total of 4 minutes. This salesman should not be working at any store where he has to actually sell things. I've been to many men's wharehouses before, and they allow people to try on suit jackets. This employee should have let us know in a more respectful manner that their policy is that we cannot try in the jackets. read more
