My wallet was thinned quickly with the wedding party attire fitted and purchased, three hundo and sixty I believe it was. The groom himself shared he managed to nearly double that. I'm surprised weddings do not receive a more substantial discount considering the Asian origins of products here certainly have no serious cost. But I suppose a boutique attempt far from Saville Row can charge such especially with wheel booted class championing the brand, serving variety of dress needs, and doing so quickly and mild mannered.

As soon as we started looking, Mr. Hamilton was out and helping us. This is the first suit we'd ever bought, so he was incredibly helpful getting the right matches and still going along with what we were interested in. At no point did he push anything on us, so I really felt comfortable asking questions and getting helpful answers. In about 30 minutes, we had suit separates, a shirt and tie that all looked amazing together and could be interchanged with other shirts, for a more formal/causal look, a really versatile outfit. Best part: $270, for a suit that was originally $550 not including the shirt and tie. As we were checking out, a woman came in, looking for button-up shirts, and told us that Mr. Hamilton was her favorite employee of the store. Understandable after the pain-free experience we had and the excellent outfit we purchased.

The technician, Dustin, thoughtfully called to let us know he was running a few minutes late, and he arrived exactly when predicted. He did a thorough inspection and magically got the oven working as it should again, without having to replace any parts. If he had been a less scrupulous and responsible professional, he could have charged us to replace a part unnecessarily. Instead, he left his contact info so we could let him know if the problem returned, with the plan to order the part then, and only then. Even though it was the end of the business day, he stayed longer to be sure the oven maintained its temperature correctly. Throughout, he was friendly and professional, a pleasure to work with. Although the business is located in Bloomington, they do calls in the Champaign-Urbana area for no extra charge. I'm putting BK Appliance Repair into my contacts now in case any other appliance issues come up.

We first contacted Scott because we needed a decorative garden retaining wall that we had started to be finished (we had to make a list-minute move and were mid-remodel on our home). My husband is an absolute perfectionist--he has constructed a number of these decorative retaining walls professionally over the years--so our standards were very high. Scott and his team exceeded our expectations. Not only did they install the wall perfectly, Scott even made some suggestions that ended up making the wall look even nicer than our original plan. Scott and his team took the time (and let me tell you, it took A LOT of time) to clear all of the weeds, overgrown bushes, etc. out of our existing garden beds to make way for new plants and they also took care to protect our prized Japanese Maple during the process. While digging the base for our wall, Scott and his team uncovered a number of bricks from an old garden wall that had been buried over the years. Instead of just disposing of them, Scott had the wonderful idea of repurposing the bricks to create a lovely brick walkway off of our back patio into our backyard as well as a little brick pad to place a bucket or hose on underneath our front spigot. I was absolutely thrilled that he thought to do this. I think it's also important to note that Scott did all of this work within our set budget. Scott found ways to do the most with the money we had allotted and gave us the biggest bang and best quality for our buck...actually I'd say Scott's quality of work would not waiver no matter what budget you presented him with. His name is on this business and he takes that very seriously. Since Scott and his team finished up our garden wall, we have also hired them for general yard work like lawn mowing, weeding, aerating, seeding, and leaf-raking. We'll also be working with Scott in the spring to add plants to our garden beds. Our neighbors across the street were so impressed with his work, that they've hired him as well. I hope that other neighbors follow suit. In summary, Scott is a stand-up guy with a hardworking team who is willing to work within your budget to give you the most for your money with the absolute best quality. I will continue to recommend him to any and everyone.

For starters, when I buy a $700 suit, I shouldn't have to worry about the crotch seam ripping at the reception of a wedding. That's just what happened and I had to walk around looking like my fly was undone the entire night. I take it in the next day to the store and I'm told, "It happens man". I get it, you didn't knowingly sell me this suit that way, but as a customer if I want to worry about seams coming undone on newly bought clothes, I'll go to a department store. Absolutely disappointed that the response was simply "it happens". Not how I expect to be treated when buying a suit from a Men's Wearhouse. Secondly, the salesman added costs on the bill without me knowing. He would say something like, "And we will go ahead and add the shirt gripper on the pants for you" and then when I looked at my receipt, there was a $15 charge for it. Just left a bad taste in my mouth the way the guy acted. Unprofessional and clearly needed the extra $$ from the commission. read more

Very bad customer service. Walk in and explain what I needed and before she looks at me, Mandi (a worker there) looks at my 2 little girls they were with me and asked them rudely not to touch any mirror. I mean seriously who cares about touching mirrors. After giving me the jacket to try out she asked me to come in the next day to try the pants cause I guess it was more convenient for her or so. I mean why would you want me to try the jacket in the first place and come the next day to try the pants while I can try both and take to altered if needed somewhere else.... Not to mention she was RUDE all time we were there. At the end we left with no purchase and we got what we needed an hour later from a clothing store across the street at the mall. read more

Scrubs ordered for a university have to have patched sewn on. There is no "exchanging sizes" at the drop of a hat. The owner actually understands this as since she is also an amazing healthcare worker. If you didn't happen to know, the family that owns this business PERSONALLY donates a scholarship for ISU student(s) to attend nursing school. I find that to be extremely generous for the community. They're not a joke just because you have to pay for your daughter scrubs that don't fit. Maybe take them to tailor instead of pointing fingers at those who offered you another option you weren't satisfied with.
