He is professional and he is direct and that honesty about what he does and how he does it goes a long way to understanding what amount of work is going into what Tom is about to do. I'm someone who can make dress pants last for years so when I get new pairs and get them tailored, I have no problem sifting through some of the more "convenient" and "cheaper" options so that I can make sure it's done right, and Tom lives up to that. I look forward to seeing him again when it's time to pick up my order and see how good my new suits fit as a result of his work.

They've always done a great job, no problems with their work, and they're very inexpensive for what they do. Only problem is they never got over Covid. They insist on making appointments, which is a HUGE pain if you run around doing errands like I do. Also I don't see how an appointment keeps someone with Covid from coming in (if you're afraid of that). Also they have a tendency to run behind so be ready for that. Took my daughter's homecoming dress here to have an inch taken up. While there, we discovered that…read moreit no longer fit and was just shy of zipping. It was agreed that they would use the fabric from the bottom to add room at the zipper. Was told to come back on the 20th (almost two weeks from drop off). Dance was 27th. Came on the 22nd to try on. Back was great, but hem was a mess- uneven, slip hanging out under mesh overlay, strings that attach the beads loose. She said she'd fix it, come back Wed. On Wed, she basically shoved the dress at me and I paid and left- at this point I knew it must still be a mess because I wasn't even shown the finished product. But at that point I just needed to figure out what needed to be fixed. As I walked to the car, sequins were falling off in the parking lot. I ended up having to completely undo her hem, remove the stones at the bottom and secure the thread attaching the stones so no more fell off, rehem and hand-sew the stones and sequins to match the rest of the dress. I had to skimp because I didn't have many extras to work with. Dress ended up turning out fine despite about 4 hours of my time fixing the dress. Monday I went back to get the garment bag she did not return. While waiting, I saw she had a pile of stones that she did not give me!! I needed those for the fix!! She could not find my bag. All in all, the price she quoted was reasonable for the zipper alterations but felt low for both zipper and hem so I guess you get what you pay for... but the work was not at all what she told me I would get, and def not worth the stress it caused. Will never return or recommend to others.

Surly, but a mensch. When you meet him for alterations, he'll grill you. "What do you want specifically?" "I need this like 5 inches shorter." "Like 5 inches shorter?" "OK, 5 inches shorter." "Five inches. Done." Be specific. You get what you ask. And what you will not ask is to get his best work. You'll get it every time. He's not satisfied until you're satisfied. That's what makes him a great tailor. He cares about his craft. I've had him correct many articles of clothing and never have once been disappointed. I have used Robby for many years when pants needed alterations. The last pair of pants I had…read moreshortened will be the last i take to him. I took 2 pairs of pants in to be shortened. He measured 1 and suggested he'd take the same length off the second pair. The 2 pants aren't even close to the same length now. I took the pants back and he IMMEDIATELY accused me of washing them and shrinking them on my own. I have not washed the pants since purchasing. He was DEFENSIVE, RUDE AND ACCUSATORY. I told him I have never been spoken to in that manner as a customer anywhere and he responded "you're treating yourself that way". I was nothing but polite and soft spoken with him. If you enjoy a quality experience without being accused of destroying your own brand new clothe do not use him.

They called on Tuesday and they were all finished! Unfortunately one of the buttons wasn't fixed and I had to bring it back. But the quality of everything they did do was really good.
