Service was fantastic. Sorry to say the sizes needed were very limited and far too expensive!

Maybe it's my own ignorance thinking a $500 budget for a MOG dress was plenty, but when I arrived…read moreand informed them of my budget, and I was made to feel small. My sales associate informed me that all of their dresses were on average $1,000 or higher. Disclaimer: when I made the apt online I noted my budget was $500, no one ever reached out and informed me this was not appropriate for this store. I was given an incredibly small portion of the "discount" and damaged rack of dresses to try. When I finally found pale blue-green dress that could work (It was $200 and heavily pilled and frayed in the seems). I took a photo and sent it to some friends and my husband. They all said it looked white with blue floral application. I'm the MOG, I can't wear anything remotely white (or photographs white) to this or any wedding. When I told them the feedback and that I couldn't get this dress, they started to pressure me pretty hard. I had my Mom and Aunt with me, they were pressuring to, because they knew that was the last dress that was in budget and could work. I finally had to very firmly say "I can't". I was pretty upset I was being encouraged/pressured to settle on a damaged dress that "could work" (not the feeling I was going for), because it was the last one in my budget. After that, I just got dressed and just left. I left feeling upset, small, and overall embarrassed. Went to David's Bridal right after, had amazing service, tried on so many dresses, and picked one that was half of my $500 budget! Helpful Hint: if someone makes an appt at your store, notates their budget, and if it's not realistic, please notify them. Also, there are no prices online to even gauge what caliber of price and product you have in the store. Even your "Tips" section doesn't elude to $500 being a small budget being it's considered a bridal boutique. "Bridal salons and boutique stores can range from $300-$2,000"-directly from your website. --maybe put a statement the average cost of dresses in your shop (that's not on the damages discount rack).

There might be 40 dresses at most when looking through your sizes. The dresses were expensive and lots of them gave a "trashbag" look. The lady "Barbra" that helped us used the phrase "well now i'm waiting for ur opinion" in a snobby tone, because I had told her before what I had and hadn't liked. This was very upsetting and made everyone in our group feel very insecure. If you've made it this far... go to Carrie Karibo. We were also rushed through the appointment and were only able to try on 8 dresses during the appointment. We went over to carrie karribo and we tried on over 20 dresses.

I suggest getting the private room. This experience can be very tiering, so it's worth it to have the privacy and attention. The attention to detail all around made me feel so taken care of. I was given incredible detail about what to expect post purchase and have confidence that their team will help every step of the way. Shoutout Connor for being the best stylist, she truly had MY best interest at heart. My daughter tried on a floor sample that fit her, and the exact same size was ordered. When her brand-new gown arrived, it was approximately 1 1/2 inches from closing. She had gained about five pounds, which we never denied, but no one adequately addressed the significant difference in fit between a heavily tried-on floor sample and a brand-new gown. It wasn't our job to know how repeated try-ons might affect the fit of a sample gown. It was their job, as experienced bridal professionals, to account for that and make sure the correct size was ordered--not simply order the same size because the floor sample fit. That is exactly why you rely on professionals when purchasing a wedding gown. General Manager Tina Minshall took my daughter's measurements. When my daughter asked, "Did I go up a size? What are we looking at?" she was told she had "gained an inch and a half in your back area." Her additional questions went largely unanswered, and she was essentially told the gown would have to be altered. The way this was handled was dismissive and insensitive. My daughter left in tears. What should have been a joyful experience trying on her wedding gown with her family instead left her embarrassed and feeling terrible about herself. We never asked for money, a refund or free alterations. I wrote directly to the owners about what happened, hoping simply for an acknowledgment or apology. Weeks later, I have received absolutely no response. After six wedding-dress purchases, our family's loyalty ends here. I have another daughter who will eventually need a wedding gown and several granddaughters behind her. Bridal & Formal will no longer be where our family shops. A dress can be altered. The memory of watching your daughter cry during what should have been a wonderful family moment is much harder to fix.

So happy we found this place. I would just recommend if you're getting your daughters formal dress there, take it somewhere else for alterations. The lady the recommend that comes in for alterations was very rude and condescending to my 18-year-old daughter who was paying for everything by herself. No one told us ahead of time that she only took cash and she basically said that she does not deal with children. I have a very responsible and independent 18-year-old daughter at home and she would not deal with because she was there for a prom dress alteration. She kept referring to her as a "child". I will definitely go back for dresses but I will take my alterations business elsewhere
