I called about getting one of my suits, which was purchased at Men's Wearhouse, tailored, and was told that I needed to get it dry cleaned first. I purchased this suit with the understanding that I would get free tailoring for life, but it's not really free tailoring if you have to get if cleaned first. What makes any store or business great, is the people. I found exactly what I was looking for because both managers went out of their way to make me feel well cared for. The quality and the price of the items that I bought is excellent. More important than anything is how you handle a snafu. Ran into a problem with my outfit the day before I needed it, however, these managers rose to the occasion and jumped through hoops to fix everything and ensure that I was completely happy and satisfied. They earned my business and this is where I will shop for dress attireand nowhere else. Taj at Men's is phenomenal. He was super knowledgeable and gave great input and feedback. Excellent customer service and communication skills. As the bride, I'm really glad I went and was able to give my input also. We had a great experience for my fiancé to be fitted with lots of selection within reason. Was a little pricey to rent a suit for just one day but overall great experience. MENS WEARHOUSE MANAGEMENT: get these reps some updated fabric swatches!!! They're very old, dingy AND have pen markings all over them. If I'm paying that much for a tux then I'd like to actually see what I'm paying for. ALSO, I'm so glad we had an appointment bc we didn't have to wait at all but for all the other people swimming around and hovering over me while I'm picking things out for my wedding it would have been nice to have a waiting area for them. I went in to get a suit which required alterations and was told to come back in a week to collect it. The suit was sent out to another branch who didn't get it back on time. Amy and Brian were great in dealing with the failure to deliver. Amy provided me a better quality suit as a replacement and walked those alterations through from start to finish. I needed the suit delivered on time as I'm flying out to an International event in 3 days. I fitted for a tux 2 months prior and my pickup was today so I came right when the store opened and of course it was not ready. The truck hasn't dropped it out yet so I waited over 3 hours for the truck and it didn't come. We visited this location on Sunday, 8/23/20, to buy a suit for an upcoming wedding. Consultant Latay J greeted us right as we walked in. We told her our vision along with our budget. Latay did an outstanding job listening to what we liked and disliked, she gave us plenty of options and made our vision come to life. Alterations were fast and communication was excellent. Using my wife's account to post: The first time I came in to get fitted for pants for a wedding, it took over an hour for the unenthusiastic employees to find the pants that had been bought prior. Over a month passed, and I heard nothing from them (though other groomsmen had gotten theirs back already), so I drive back (from 45min away) to inquire about the pants. This time, it takes 30min for them to find the pants- AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT BEEN ALTERED. They guaranteed me that they would do it right away, so I could have them when I left the store. Instead, the woman who they bring out to mark the fit for the tailoring says that they cannot be done until a few days from now at least. Terrible service, and some of the employees make you feel like a burden when you ask them to do their job. Go to Jos A Bank. Don't waste your time here like I have. read more

If I could give this damn store all the negative stars in the world, I would. I made a purchase for an upcoming event this weekend, so my family and I thought that ordering it from Men's Warehouse (Sandhills Store) would be the place to go. BAD IDEA!!!! My significant other received a phone call stating that tuxedo was ready, but instead of addressing him as Doctor, the sales lady called him mister. He proceeds to correct her, but she just refused. After stating this several times, the lady hung up the phone. We drove over to pick up the tuxedo, and there was a different young lady at the counter, and we stated who we were, and immediately there was attitude from her and the other lady we spoke with earlier. The blatant disrespect that we received was out of this world. We were given a card, so we could speak with a manager. We gave the manager a call and explained the situation. We received a refund, but at this point its not about the money, its about showing customers who spend their hard earned money on an item from your store RESPECT!!! Like where's the respect. Why is it so hard to be called Dr. Prescott. Not by my first name, not mister Prescott, but Doctor Prescott. We received a call from the district manager, and explained the situation to him. The next day, we went back to the Sandhills location, and the store manager proceeds to say, "Oh you're the one, I can't wait to hear what you have to say now." Like are you kidding me. And yet, the disrespect continues. How are they even still working at this place. Not only that, they are telling other customers what happened as well; we received a phone call from a friend of ours, asking what did we do to the men's warehouse crew. Like are you fucking kidding me!! This place is VERY SAD!!! NEVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE WILL I EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. EVER!!!!! read more

What a bunch of knuckleheads! I took my son shopping there for a graduation suit. When I walked in the door I signaled to the lone adult and he began to wait on us. I told him that we were looking for a nice well fitting suit for my sons graduation. I gave him the correct size and he proceeded to pass me off so some kid in an ill fitting suit. I tried to be patient with the whelp but he refused to listen to my desires. He proceeded to place my son into a suit seperate that had enough fabric to make two pairs of pants. Then he tried to correct the mistake by saying that we could have the pants altered in three directions. Waist, hem and sides. That was when I lost it on him and proceeded to take him down a few notches but in a professional manner. I told him to look at the pants that I was wearing. To see the cut and to match the same cut with a suit for my son. He is a 44 Regular for crying out loud. It should be a breeze to fit him. His waist is a 38. NOPE! So I told him what my price points were that cost was not really a factor and that my son already owned an ill fitting suit and I wanted him to look crisp and trendy. NOPE! So I informed the lad that we were going to just purchase the shoes and take a majority of our business elsewhere as they did not have the product that we were looking for. DO NOT GO THERE..unless you want to look sloppy. Or don't mind paying over $150 extra to alter a substandard fitting suit. They know nothing about properly fitting men! They are just a bunch of hungry students tripping over each other for sales! I thought that it was just Charlotte but NOOOOOOO! It appears to be a company wide problem. PS I'm not a snob. I didn't go there looking for a fight. I just wanted my son to look good. They didn't have the right product. SHOCKER! ddc read more

It was also great that they keep everything organized in on one order and shipped the suits to the groomsmen. Great experience! I'm 64 and went in looking for a traditional, classic three-piece business suit. My salesperson, Jay, could not have been better. He understood exactly what I was looking for and showed me several different styles of suits and didn't waste my time with anything I wasn't interested in. Jay and the resident tailor/seamstress (who has 20 years experience with Mens Wearhouse) were wonderful. Jay took his time, wasn't pushy in any way & I was very comfortable through the whole process.
