Went here a couple weeks before I was a groomsmen in a wedding they took over 2 hours for measurements. Whatever that's fine a little crazy but not a big deal. They were really short staffed which I understand however I made this the absolute easiest for them anyone possibly could. The day of the wedding I just got back from vacation and the suit was so unbelievably wrong. The pants could've fit 4 of me. The shirt was too big and the jacket was too small. So I ran back to the store hours before the wedding and this wonderful lady did the best should could to help me. However I was only given a $20 gift card for the next time I visit. I didn't even get my suit and they gave me $20.... Please avoid this place at all cost. read more

We found out Friday our aunt was ill. My husband tried his suit on and it was way too big. We went in and they measured him for alterations and said it would be ready the next Friday. That night our aunt passed away. I called in the morning and explained, they made the alterations immediately for us and had it ready. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Brought my step son in to get him a suit for his 21st birthday. Was greeted upon entry and serviced till the very end. About a 90 minute experience and purchased everything to make a complete outfit. Shoes, Shoe trees, Socks, Suit, (w/alterations) Shirt, Belt, Tie, Tie bar, (another location) Pocket square Customers service was very good and patient and not too overly opinionated on fashion preference which was a big plus because I know what I like and didn't want to have to hear too much from the sales rep. Not a very quality experience. I bought two new suits from Men's Wearhouse, one of which was to be for my wedding. I had an average experience buying, not negative, but a little too much pushing other items I didn't need after I said i just wanted a suit. Afterwards they had mentioned you if you for an alteration its free on that suit for life. That is a nice selling point. What they don't tell you that it ONLY applies to that specific alteration. They sell you on the general convenience and don't mention the technicality. I paid for the shoulders and the sleeves, yet when I lost weight they said in order to bring in the jacket in the torso it was to be a totally new charge because it was a different part of the jacket. Are you serious? Paying for the shoulders all of the sudden doesn't apply to the something less than 12 inches away? What a joke. Let's just say I am not impressed. Claiming to be a store that wants customer loyalty for repeat customers, they certainly do nickle and dime you on already over priced items. I am good with paying for quality, you just expect service to reflect that price. Save your time and go somewhere that WANTS you as a long term customer. read more

I went in there to find something right below a suit in what to wear (since my last interviews I seemed over dressed). The employee that helped me did not care about my needs that I told him and continually tried to sell me a suit. I felt like he was just working for a commission and not what I needed. It was awful and awkward. He threw pants at me and I felt awful for wanting something below a suit. Fuck this place I just needed a nice dress shirt and nice pants I can work and move around in. This review is going to be based 100% on the experience of picking up a Tux rental for a wedding. First off the guy working the tux area at time of pickup could not have been more incompetent and should be only allowed to be employed at McDonalds. He seemed to be in a rush just to get me out of the store. Upon giving my order to try on one quick glance let me know that the shirt was 3x too large, I wear dress shirts to work on a daily basis and range between and M or L depending on the cut, this guy has be in a XXL and tells me "oh it'll be fine when you tuck it in." After some discussion and his manager walking by saying the shirt is too big did he even acknowledge he was wrong....just argue with me about it....bad service. So he attempts to have me try on the vest over the wrong sized shirt....hey buddy the vest isn't going to fit right over this parachute you have me wearing. Once I finally get the correct shirt I was left to try on the shirt while the attendant disappeared......finally he returns asking me if I'm ready to check out, to which I reply "what about the pants?" Oh wait there are no pants in my bag and he proceeds to argue that the tux does not have pants.....until he finally looks at the order, makes some dumbass excuse then goes and hunts them down. After this debacle and getting the right sized pants, I never got to try on everything together in this chaos and after getting home I realize the jacket I was given is the wrong fit. I will be going back today to have them rush fix this, but will go to another location. DO NOT EVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!! 9/6/17 Update - Men's Warehouse customer relations reached out to me after my review. As I walked them through my experience they were apologetic and understanding of the issues I dealt with. They have since refunded 50% of my tux rental price. read more

I spoke with Iven, and I was very impressed with how quickly & accurately he was able to show me items I was looking for. I needed a new suit for a business trip, and I needed it before my 5am flight the next morning. He pulled about 5 different Suit Jackets for me to try on, based on my style preferences. He did the same with the slacks. He showed me the best sales & specials they were offering at the time, which is really what motivated me to buy on the spot. Avoid this Men's Wearhouse like the plague - probably all Men's Wearhouse stores for that matter. I was just in a wedding for my friend in Pennsylvania. I do not live in Columbus, but was going to pick this suit up Thursday evening. The groom called me Thursday while at work and told me that Men's Wearhouse had made a mistake with where they had sent some of them suits and had to have all of the suits overnighted to Lancaster, PA (there were groomsmen from all over the country as my friend is in the military) so the groom told me that's what was happening on Thursday. I arrived in PA Saturday morning for the Saturday afternoon wedding. I wear suits/dress shirts very often and in addition to being measured and trying suits on at this Men's Wearhouse in Columbus, I directly told them my size that I buy that day that I got fitted (18/37 slim dress shirt and 36/34 trousers, slim fit 46L or traditional 44L) and somehow the shirt I received was at least 2" too short in the sleeve and the inseam was also at least 2" too short. When I went to return the suit again in Columbus, and tried to explain the situation to the manager that I was dissatisfied with the fit and asked them what their policy was in regard to that (I paid $175 for this suit rental, and I figured that I deserved at least half back as this was blatantly wrong), he tried telling me that if I didn't try it on the day that I picked it up in the store, there was nothing he could do about it. When I tried to explain that was not possible for me to have tried it on due to a logistics error on their part, he kept trying to give me the go around about how I had to try it on in store. He kept saying "well we're good, not great." So I asked him if I were to have ordered a 18/37 slim fit dress shirt and 36/34 trousers new from Men's Wearhouse, would they have arrived with sleeves and inseam at least 2" too short? He never answered exactly and kept saying "well, we're good not great." He finally offered to give me $30 back so I took it and left. Now I don't know about you, but if I go to a restaurant and order an expensive meal (the equivalent of a $175 suit rental) and they obviously give me the wrong order, should I have to pay for it still? I don't believe so, and because of this and the way I was treated at this Men's Wearhouse I will never step foot in one again. I am getting married this fall and I highly recommend SuitSupply or Combatant Gentleman for your suiting needs. If you are in Columbus, check out Pursuit in the Short North - you can work directly with the owner and he is very kind and I'm sure would be willing to take responsibility for any errors made on his part. read more

After having a nightmare experience at AC at Polaris and reading these Yelp reviews, we were very nervous to check out Men's Wearhouse. However, they completely exceeded our expectations. We were seen right away and the friendliest person ever helped us set up our wedding. Lauren is incredibly awesome and knowledgeable. She dressed and re-dressed mannequins for me until I was totally happy with the looks for the groom and groomsmen. She offered really solid advice on what photographs well given my dress color and what would look best. My fiance and I walked out of there incredibly thankful we decided to go in there. read more

I don't normally write reviews but we have had an awful experience so far. We were greeted by a very rude employee that got agitated because we didn't place the suit order and had no idea if we were there for rental or retail. What we thought would be a quick fix, turned into two different employees ignoring us and not resolving the issue. Each claiming they didn't know what to do. Once they found his suit, we were told to wait for him to be fitted. After waiting 20 minutes and being ignored an employee finally noticed us waiting. The entire fitting the employee was rude and acted like it was such a hassle to do his job. I would like to add that we were never once rude to them or prompted this behavior. The only redeeming quality is one of the employees, Gary. When I couldn't get anyone else to help us he dropped everything to get him fitted and help us figure out what was going on. He was extremely knowledgeable and fixed a very unfortunate visit. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Went into the store once it opened back up after COVID to check out some suit rentals for my upcoming wedding. The gentleman helping us took us over to the suit rentals to explain which were available and the blonde woman, Sarah, rudely interjected our conversation and told us in a very nasty tone that the suit we are looking for was not available to rent. She gave us nasty looks and was very rude, and she wasn't even helping us. She was helping other customers at the time. I was in such shock that someone in a people person business would be so rude to customers, that I had to immediately walk out. I have never experienced such poor people skills from someone who works with people on a daily basis. We asked the gentleman what her problem was and he replied, "she's always like that". That's pretty sad that an employee refers to another like that. Just avoid going here at all costs, there are plenty of other Men's Warehouses to go to. read more

I'll start with the fact that I have spent thousands of dollars at this location over the past several years. Today my wife was making a return. Dave was helping her and he made several rude comments to the effect of "looks like your husband just needed something nice to wear once". This was very inappropriate and unprofessional. So a disclaimer... I know nothing about suits or how to pick out nice clothes. But this store appears to have a great collection of amazing looking suits. The staff is helpful and friendly. Albeit, the older gentleman I had was incredible slow with everything. But he was nice and helpful so I can't complain too much. I thought it was a bit expensive, but having never looked at a suit anywhere else I can't tell you if it was more or less expensive than competitors. But they always have a decent deal, and I was able to get 2 suits (including 2 shirts, 2 ties, a pair of shoes, and a 3-pack of socks) for about $1200. The tailoring is well done and relatively quick. If you are looking to have a perfect fitting suit that day or night, forget about it. They need at least a few days to get the suit tailored. read more

We ordered 10 tuxes from mens warehouse polaris and they were rude, ungrateful for the business, and had terrible customer service the entire process. The only reason I went through with the rental was because i couldnt find a true charcoal gray tux anywhere else. They lost one of our groomsmens measurements and I was told that they could look through their hard copies but it would be easier to have the person come back in. Easier for them maybe....very inconsiderate for the customer spending over $200 for their tux to make an extra trip to the store for something they've already done. They also delayed my wedding. One of our groomsmen had tried their tux on two days before the wedding and everything was great, tried on a gray jacket and gray pants. Well apparently when the employee put his tux back into the bag, he mixed up the pants and put black pants into his tux bag. At the advice of the employee, he didnt open the bag until he went to put it on.....30 minutes before we were supposed to be taking pictures. When the store was called about this, they apologized and said someone could come pick them up. Come pick them up.....it was THEIR mistake that the customer left the store with the wrong order, and they wanted US to drive 25 minutes to their store, and 25 minutes back to the wedding venue, pushing pictures/our weddnig ceremony back. After a heated discussion, they agreed to have an employee drive the pants out to us. When my husband turned his tux in the next day he was barely offered an apology....let alone money back for the disaster they caused....and was told "everything worked out didnt it?". Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money here. read more

I haven't rented a tux for quite some time but the experience with Men's Warehouse was awful at best. I'm not sure why they do a fitting but I think a child that has never used a tape measure could have done a better job. For the total wedding party of 8 suits they had one that fit rather well. One problem is that the individual renting the suit thinks the fit is good enough because they don't want to create a conflict. The problem with this is that wedding pictures are very expensive and when you have many suits that don't fit well it stands out. I felt that Men's Warehouse's only concern was getting you to walk out the door with the tux saying that that's good enough. I will never do that again and would recommend that any wedding planner to have the men buy their suits similar to the way the bridesmaids buy dresses. You can buy a fairly good suit from JCP from 2-3 hundred dollars. My tux was close to $200 and the fit was awful. I was told it had to be returned the day after the event or I had to pay a $20. a day late charge. I could go on with many issues with the rentals. read more

Came to this location after receiving horrible customer service at the Easton location and it has been fabulous every time. Purchased 10 suits for my wedding. Tried to get alterations done at the Easton location since it's only 2 miles from my house, however, ended back up at this location because of receiving terrible customer service once again. Went in to the store to set up what they call a "group number" with the outfits we had picked out for all the groom/groomsmen in my wedding to ensure when each guy went in they would have the correct outfit. One of my groomsmen ended up with the wrong color suit which I didn't find out about until day of and in turn ruined my wedding day pictures!! Something that can never be corrected! We spent collectively $2000 there not to mention my $2000 grand in photography that was ruined and they want to offer a free suit to "fix" the problem. I would HIGHLY recommend to never shop here especially if it's for an important event in your life!! read more

I don't normally feel compelled to write reviews but after my experience at Men's Warehouse by Polaris I want to. I rented a tux from them from for my prom and from the start it was an unpleasant experience. The employees were all very rude, pushy, and annoyingly sarcastic. There was a great deal of confusion that developed during the rental process and they would not answer my questions. One employe told me "did you get what you wanted or not? What's the point in asking questions if you got what you wanted?" Many of them also did not seem knowledgable about the rental process. I am normally pretty chill and understanding when it comes to buisnesses and try to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, my experience was equally bad every time I went in. I don't know if all Men's warehouses are this bad but this one is horrible. I will never go to or give a Men's warehouse my business again and I urge all reading this to do the same! read more

I along with all of my groomsmen ordered our tuxedos, and had them picked up at this location. 9 of the 10 tuxedos were wrong sizes and when I say wrong I mean not even close. I was assured by a gentlemen that worked there whose name was Samuel that he work make sure everything was beyond perfect for the wedding day. Well it wasn't when we got our clothes on of the groomsmen shirts was 3 sizes to small. I spoke to the general manager David and he was beyond rude. When he finally got to our venue he didn't even acknowledge my existence. Honestly me giving one star is being way to generous and I won't ever go back unless MENS WAREHOUSE learns how to higher more knowledgable and RESPECTFUL staff. Oh my goodness. I could not begin to tell you how amazing my experience with the men's Wearhouse was. my wedding passed a couple of weeks ago and when we came to pick out our tuxedos, the girl quoted us exact prices, showed us exact colors, gave us her honest opinion as nicely as possible and steered us in the right direction. she definitely knew what she was talking about. when I mentioned I was nervous about the time frame the tuxedos were coming in at boom. it was changed. when I mentioned maybe not being able to have them back in time, boom. she changed it! THroughout my entire wedding I can honestly say that this ws the most stress free task. I was also happy about the fact that she also helped my fiancé and his boys get dressed for the wedding, folded all their pocket thingys, and pressed all their tuxedos when they picked up. it was outstanding service. I don't know if it's men's Wearhouse or the particular girl I worked with but thesis over all experience was amazing. when I asked her for a card she told me she wasn't that high up or important but she will get there. and with the way we were treated, she will get there quickly. if you're looking for tuxedos for a wedding, go here. read more
