I walked in nervous about getting my first suit and met a lovely lady named Rita with almost 30 years of experience. It could not have been anymore pleasant. She knew exactly what I needed and laid out several styles for me. I will from now on get every suit from Men's Warehouse and it truly is special to have employees with so much knowledge, experience, and constantly up to date with the latest fashions so people like me can rest easy! Don't spend your money here. Came in for a rental and first was told that what I wanted would be expensive(just to rent a jacket and pants) in a tone like I couldn't afford it. After that I waited 45 mins without these people even getting my measurements for them to be lazy and not do what I asked and was willing to pay for! Last night, my teenage son rented a tuxedo for his prom. After the staff took his measurements and placed the order, he picked up the rental as instructed. However, upon trying it on shortly before the event, we discovered the jacket was two sizes too large. Given that prom was only two hours away, there was no time to correct the issue. Today, I returned to the store to return the suit and to discuss the situation with the individual I understood to be the manager (a man in his fifties). Rather than addressing the issue professionally, he was rude, dismissive, and placed the blame entirely on my son. His response was completely unacceptable and compounded an already disappointing situation, as my son's prom experience was severely impacted. As a loyal Men's Wearhouse customer for over 20 years and a preferred member, I am shocked and disheartened by both the handling of the tuxedo rental and, more importantly, the dismissive customer service response. I expect that Men's Wearhouse will address this situation appropriately. I would appreciate a follow-up regarding how this matter will be resolved. read more

I do not recommend coming here at all, terrible experience. After waiting for two hours we had to walk out. We came in, waited for about 30 minutes just for them to say they'd be with us shortly. Another 40 minutes of waiting, she finally gave us a paper to check out the wedding suit selection. I understand they have other people to help, but they were absolutely ignoring us. The lady went to the back room for a while, then started changing trash cans while we were still waiting for help with our selection. It is completely possible to double task in that situation, as she had plenty of down time to help us while she was waiting for her other customer. They said nothing to us, completely ignoring us while we watched them and waited. Another man said he had an appointment at 2:20, he still had not been helped when we left at 3:00. I was really disappointed in the professionalism of the white woman helping us find a tux for my son back in April. She was still getting dressed when we were told to go to her for help. She said as much to us. Putting on stockings, forgot her contacts (or glasses - she wasn't making sense), was brushing her hair. She seemed like she just rolled in and didn't have it together. I wasn't sure she had his measurements right bc she didn't seem to know what she was doing. I've never rented a tux and asked for advice. She didn't help us make a choice what to pick. She couldn't find the school code. I wasn't sure what I was getting with the tux package and what I wasn't. Even when I asked more questions she said we had all the pieces. I was really concerned the tux wouldn't come on time. At pick up the coat was too short in the sleeves. We didn't have button covers or a vest. She really wasn't helpful at all and we didn't get what we needed to make the tux look complete. read more

This was the most awful experience I've ever encountered. My boyfriend and I were shopping for his prom tuxedo and not a single person helped us during this process. Not only that, but the fact that we were skipped by new customers SEVERAL times, shows a lack of observation, attention, and customer service that I didn't think was possible. Walked in and not one person greeted us. Woman leaning up against the register counter on a tablet. Walked thru looking for a jacket for our teenage son for his formal. Walked around looking and no one still even tried to assist us. Son asked the woman who was holding up the register where the bathroom was. She wouldn't even walk him, she pointed. After looking for another 5 minutes and still no one had approached us, we left. Went to Joseph A Banks and was treated as we expected. Spent a lot of money and had great service and experience. First of all, you have to realize that these places are scam. They would advertise maybe a $400 suit, but when you get there the jacket will fit. You put the pants are going to be so large that they won't be able to tailor the pants. You'll have to buy what they call separates. What are separates? $400 for a jacket. For pants. $400 for PANTS! Well time was short so what could I do? They hemmed the pants, adjusted the waist, I wasn't really happy with the fit of the jacket because the shoulders were way too big but I was out of time so I wore it. Once. I started thinking I'm going to bring this jacket back and have them alter the shoulders so I don't look like the singer from talking heads. On a Saturday they said the Tailor won't be until Monday. Okay after work I drove there. The Tailor comes out and says oh I can't do anything with the shoulders. The sales staff is nice enough. But the core business model is to scam. You. Just realize that. They don't have real tailors, they have people that can work a sewing machine. Anybody's grandmother can do that. I'll have to take the jacket to a real tell. Tailor to get what I want done. Go to Macy's buy a suit off the rack. Take it to a proper tailor. read more

If I could zero reviews to a place I would. The absolute worst experience here. Within minutes of walking in a sales associate walked up to us. We asked if they had any suggestions as to a suit that was nice but that would not break the bank. Without asking any questions about what we wanted, his size, etc the sales associate walked us to the clearance section and pointed to the largest size on the clearance section. Strike one. We then walked to full price suites to look, and the same sales associate looked at me and my husband and said that won't fit him. Mind you my husband is within a healthy weight. Extremely hurtful, and discriminatory. Will NEVER spend my money here. Fix your customers service, and train your employees. read more

Been to this location several times to buy a couple suits for different occasions as well as to rent a tuxedo for a friend's wedding recently. The staff is very helpful and the store has a wide variety of styles, colors, fits, sizes, and inventory. What a terrible experience, I would recommend going just about anywhere else if you need to buy a suit. I needed a suit for an upcoming wedding so I purchased one a week ago with the added cost of expedited shipping to assure it was here in time for the wedding. But lo and behold it wasn't in the store several days after the original date I was told it would be. Now being in a time crunch for the wedding in a few days, I had no other option but to choose a different suit. Which they tried to make me purchase after there mistake. Rented a suit for a wedding. Cost over $220. I returned it a couple of days late and I got charged $65. Even had to pay taxes on something that I didn't buy. I asked if they could wave it since I spent a lot of money to wear it one time. They just said no (which is a lie bc someone else returned it late and they waved it). It's my fault for returning it late. Wouldn't recommend this company but if you do. Don't go to this store. Don't do it. I must say, I had a fantastic experience at this location recently. Needed a black suit for a wedding and stopped in here. This is where I met Katelyn. She was very knowledgeable about the different suits but more importantly she knew how to mix and match the shirts and ties to the suits. So I was good to go with the black suit and moved on to a couple other suits that were on sale (they always seem to have a sale, kind of like the Kohl's of the suit world). Ended up getting 3 suits. If I didn't mention this, Katelyn is also a good sales person. Had all 3 tailored and ready for pick up within 3 days. BTW, everyone at the wedding thought I looked great! read more

I've read some of the nightmare reviews from several Men's Warehouses and I am very pleased with my experience and the service. It's understandable that it's prom time, so I expected to wait. That was not the case. We were greeted at the door when we walked in. They pointed to the table where all the tux info was located. Reese (I think that was his name) was great. Very helpful with ideas once I told him about the prom theme and matched a nice ensemble! The price was descent. Fast and courteous service just the way I like it!! Thanks!! read more

The customer service here is not good. There was one employee (Wesley) who worked hard and tried to help us find the right tux for my son. However, the two managers were not helpful and just rude. We did not have a good experience at this location. I would not recommend this Men's Wearhouse and I certainly will not be back. Paul Simon was much more professional, patient and very helpful. Great location purchased a few items there accessories well figured i would get suspender buttons in my slacks well i told the employee exactly where to tell the tailor where to put the buttons it took 2 times for them to be put in correctly and the shirt i ordered was wrong as well. Not sure if the manager knows the employees could care less about the service very slow to get assistance at times. read more

I do not go to Men's Wearhouse to often, but when I do the service and selection is usually really good. I recently went to this location after hearing they were having a 50% off sale. Needing some casual shirts I went in and ended up buying three shirts. I am kind of an in between size and have a hard time finding shirts in the bigger box stores. Men's warehouse tends to always have a good selection in all sizes. They are also conveniently located in Sycamore Commons shopping center on the corner of 74 and 51. read more

My fiance and another groomsman with his family all went to this location last month. Our wedding isn't until September, but we wanted to get started so there would be a good amount of time. As soon as we walked in, it was pretty busy for a Saturday, which is normal and perfectly alright with me. What I didn't appreciate was the associate (who's name I won't mention) trying to upsell. I understand why upselling is important, but I told her that I had a limit of $150, which I KNOW is do-able. She was showing me Vera Wang, Calvin Klein, really expensive suits going into the $300-400s. Everything was being thrown around, people walking everywhere, questions that weren't being answered.. I immediately got irritated and set my foot down. Men's Wearhouse is a good store and I'll go there in the future, but they really need to establish better customer understanding and meeting their specific needs. The initial customer service with the sales associate was good. I purchased a suit, but it took more than a week to simply get the pants hemmed (asked for cuffed, which I was charged extra). When I picked-up the suit, the cuffed hemming was not done and the suit looked worn. Unfortunately they could not resolve the issue in the store and I asked for a refund. The manager didn't seem to care at all and offered no alternative or discount. I would not recommend this store. You can find better selection, value, and service elsewhere. read more

Sadly I have to give this particular store only 1 star for the first and only experience we had with my son and a tuxedo he needed for a wedding. I brought my son in for not one but two fittings. I had to bring him in twice because he is growing like a weed and we needed to make sure the tux would fit. The first time seemed to be great. The sales guy was professional and suggested we have the tux delivered to the store closest to where the wedding was held for convenience sake. The second visit for measurements was quite different. The sales guy and girl seemed irritated with us and when the original jacket did not fit, they said they didn't have another one for him to try on but they would go ahead and order a size up anyway. They also didn't have the next size up in shoes. This is when I asked to change my request to have the tux picked up at the Matthews store for fear the tux was going to have measurement issues and they told me no. When we went to the MW in Edgewater NJ to pick up his tux we were told they didn't have it and it was sent to the Matthews NC store. We had to go back the following day after they FedExed the suit only to find out the jacket was two sizes to small and the pants were too long. We had to go back a third time (on the day of the wedding) and finally got a proper fitting suit. We were very inconvenienced and irritated with the whole process. I unfortunately cannot recommend this store for tux rentals and if you do rent from them, I would strongly suggest you have your suit picked up at the location you were measured at. read more

Long waits and terrible customer service! Took my son to rent a tux and the poor lady was doing all she could to wait on the long line if people. There seemed to be a manager who came from the back room a few times but would look on the computer and go right back to the storage room in the back of the store and not help customers nor his worker out.
