Thank goodness that Men's Wearhouse started to offer online sizing estimates and convenient ordering. Going to Men's Wearhouse is an extensive endeavor with very novice employees. For any rentals, you are much better off going to a local store like Jack Tuxedo up the road.. where the employees are literal experts and the alterations are done timely and well. Now I order multiple sizes online and see which fits before just simply returning the extras from the order from Men's Wearhouse for suit purchases. They have great brands. They have good sales. Just the staff at their stores are not worth it. Granted today, they messed up my new concept by refusing to take my return. No problem - they have free return labels to ship returns too. Soon enough - they should just be fully online to avoid bad reputations based on their store staff. read more

Rental suits for ring bearers are expensive but they seem to be expensive everywhere. We had a great experience here. My kids actually enjoyed the fitting. Everyone there was so kind and friendly and understandinf that my kids were being kids. They liked dancing in front of the mirrors and they look schnazzy. Stopped in with my husband and we were immediately greeted by a worker. (This surprised us because this was not always the case in the past.) There are a bunch of dressing rooms and there seems to be an endless surplus of anything you need for any event. I got married this past weekend. I had nine groomsmen coming from different cities across two separate states, so with Mens Wearhouse being a large national chain, it seemed like the logical choice that would be easiest for all involved. I will summarize my experience in bullet points. - I scheduled an appointment for a fitting and to pick out the garments. I went in for the fitting and the store attendant took down all my details on pen and paper. I thought this was sufficient, but as I found out some weeks later when I called to ask a follow up question, they had no record of my reservation at all and I had to come in for a second appointment. When I went in again I picked out a suit for myself and a separate but similar suit for all of my groomsmen. This is a detail that will be important later. - I got a call from one groomsman when he went in for his fitting that they tried to give him two pairs of pants (blue and black). This is minor and we were able to sort it out, but it still showcases their incompetence and convoluted record keeping. -I was never notified when my suit was ready. No phone call, no email, no message whatsoever. Obviously I had budgeted time the week of the wedding to pick it up, but one would expect some notice to be customary. -When I picked up my own suit, the store manager at Monroeville didn't seem to grasp initially that mine was complimentary as I had met the numerical criteria for a free rental myself. He tried to change me, and when I objected, he spent several minutes on the phone with corporate to get the correct promotional code. Again, I will give them the bare minimum amount of recognition here that they sorted this out without charging me, but ostensibly weddings are a big part of your business and I would think it's well known that my rental is covered when I have 6+ groomsmen. -When it was time for pickup two of my groomsmen received jackets that didn't fit. Now maybe sizes can be somewhat fluid and vary. One was an easy swap and he was able to get a fitting jacket that same visit. Another one was given a slim when he needed a regular. They didn't have it in stock so he had to return to the store on the morning of the wedding to get a new one. Thankfully we were able to do this, but it's easy to envision a scenario where this wouldn't have worked out. Even still, it shouldn't need to be said that this was an extra ordeal that we could have done without on the morning of my wedding. -And here's the big one: my groomsmen all received suits identical to mine, despite the fact that I had picked out a different one for them. No one at the wedding was anyone the wiser, but I have nine guys collectively paying you thousands of dollars to wear clothing for one night. I have every right to pick what I want, and this store failed spectacularly on every level. - I followed up the next morning to voice my dissatisfaction. All of the previous miscues notwithstanding, i would think being provided the wrong suits on the day of my wedding alone is a situation that needs to be rectified. The manager at Monroeville gave me his name and assured me that all nine of my guys would receive a full refund at whatever store they chose to drop off their suits. He instructed me to have the individual stores contact him with any further questions. Several of the guys were able to do so without any complications but a few were not so fortunate. Some stores pushed back on this or told some of the guys that they needed to return theirs at Monroeville. Let's remember here not everyone is local and that only myself and one other groomsman used the Monroeville store. I'm sympathetic to any other manager who may have been penalized for a mistake their store didn't make, but driving hours away just to get a refund when the retailer is solely at fault should not be the expectation placed on us. When you have a decentralized rental process like this, the burden should be on the retailer to sort out mistakes between stores amongst themselves. That's not our problem. As I sit here typing this now, one of my groomsman still has not received his refund despite waiting 40 minutes in the store yesterday. He was told to return today and plans to do so after work. I will update my review if further details are necessary. So this was my experience using Mens Wearhouse for my wedding. I have no intentions of patronizing them again and I will share my story with anyone who tells me they plan to do so moving forward. read more

I took my son to rent a tux for prom and left without achieving that goal. The gentleman who "helped" us could not have been more unfriendly. At one point he said, "come over here" in such a rude tone I almost walked out. There were some technical difficulties with the iPad that I understand can't be helped, but another salesperson was trying to tell him another way to help us and he would not do it. I will find another Men's warehouse to rent the tux, there isn't any reason to be rude to a customer. read more

One of this location's workers, Aaron, "fitted" me for my suit a month before the wedding. I went in a few days beforehand to pick it up, and it fit like a garbage bag. For what was supposed to be a slim-fit suit, it fit more like a garbage bag on a toothpick. Whether he entered the wrong size or just blatantly disregarded the items I tried on at the "fitting," I had an awful experience. Luckily, this location's only saving grace is that they were able to find me a replacement jacket. However, in the process of giving me the replacement jacket, they forgot to give me the pocket square. What a disaster. In the future, I would recommend this place not even make one waste his time coming in for a "fitting," since they are likely to disregard the size anyways. read more

Return time for rentals is ridiculous especially when traveling back from another state. Also was provided with a broken tie and had to find another location out of state for them to repair the tie approximately 20 mins before the wedding I was in. We went here to get suits for the groomsmen in a wedding. The associate was helpful at first but then became pushy. He also made some sly jabs at the groom for not wearing suits often and thus not being well-versed in suits. We did get the groom's suit that day but decided to come back for everyone else's. When we returned, the first associate wasn't there. Another associate helped us. He attached his business card to the receipt of the groomsman's suit. We go back to pick up the groom's tailored pants and we're making arrangements for out-of-town groomsmen to get suits at their local Men's Warehouse. The first associate was there and jumps at the opportunity to help us again. We present the receipt to show him what the groomsmen are to wear. In the process, he removes the other associate's business card and reattaches his. There's no need to make it obvious that you're working on commission. I'm have plenty to worry about then get in the middle of workplace drama. Please just help me, answer my questions, and meet me where I am and respect me. Once this wedding is over, I probably won't be back unless I have to. read more

First I would like to say that this Men's Warehouse deserves 10 stars instead of five!! It was my first time at this specific location and I went there 30 minutes before they closed. I felt really bad, but it was an emergency. My husband had sent out his résumé for job interviews and he called me saying he needed a suit for an interview the next day. I rushed over to Men's Warehouse and when I entered the store, they already had a suit picked out for him (his measurements were already in their computer from our wedding) . Once I approved of the whole ensemble, one of the employees took my husbands slacks and hemmed them up right then and there. Literally the worst customer service experience I have ever had. They had 4 people working and about 3 shopping customers looking at suits. I was ready to check out and had to stand there in line for 25 minutes. Halfway through my time in line I ask to be rung up and the gentleman said I would be helped in a minute. So, I stood there for another ten minutes and I asked a second time to the woman working and she said she couldn't help me, but would ask. So I watched her talk about me to a customer and make a joke about my frustration, and she did not inform anyone I needed help. I waited another 5 mins and was finally helped. None of you know what you are doing, maybe hire people who can handle a rush of three people. It's called multitasking. read more

I went to the monroeville men's warehouse to get a tux for myself and my groomsmen. They, in my opinion, were a little pricey. My tux was 220 and the groomsmen were 240. I was told the tux would arrive the Thursday of the wedding week and that I could come and try it on that day. So during my wedding week I set aside time to come that Thursday. As it turns out the tuxes came on Tuesday. I didn't have time to come until that Thursday. When I arrived Thursday to my surprise the jacket was two sizes too big, the pants were two sizes too big and the shirt was probably two sizes too big as well. Even the guy who re-measured me asked if I was measured there and I said yes. They apologized and informed me I would have to return Saturday morning (the day of my wedding at 10 am) to try on the tux. We had plans to do wedding photos at the cathedral of learning so this really screwed things up. When I returned Saturday morning the jacket still seemed too big and the shoes were tight but it was my wedding day and I didn't have time. As it turns out the shoes were too small and I ended up having to take them off halfway through my reception. The biggest complaint from my wife was the fact the the handkerchief and my shirt didn't match. The handkerchief was the color it was supposed to be (ivory) but the shirt I received was white. In addition to that, the handkerchiefs did not stay up. they had all fallen down into the pocket This completely RUINED our wedding photos! Everyone was unhappy with that and said I should complain. So a week later I went to see the store manager and basically I was told by him I should have been there to try my suit on, on Tuesday, it was my fault. As for the shirt and handkerchief debacle I was given a $25 gift card... :-| I like men's ware house and shop there often , but I'm not sure I will return there. I know for SURE I won't ever go back to the monroeville location. I don't feel that this situation was rectified at all. I was hoping to find a survey on my receipt because I feel the need to thank our consultant Jason G. My husband and I visited the Monroeville, PA store last weekend to find him a new suit. My husband is not the most stylish or even comfortable with style so to say and I knew I needed him to have someone truly guide him and help him find the right fit. The store was very buys and only 2 consultants were on the floor. They both worked fluidly to keep everyone moving and satisfied. Jason walked over, I asked if my husband could be fitted and he was able to immediately know his size, not measuring tape needed. He went right to the size, pulled a great option and the fit was perfect. After some playing with color he brought over the perfect off the rack set, it fit like a glove. He was able to get the full 3 piece set, a corresponding shirt and tie, which I know in the postcovid retail world can be very difficult, even better? It was all for a fabulous price. Give this man a raise, he is an MVP. read more

Yikes! Awful experience. My husband is a popular guy, in lots of weddings in the last couple years and he's an unusual size -- 44 Long. Returning the tux rental this morning, I was planning on being in Monroeville today so I dropped the tux off at this location. The staff was rude and snotty. Sensing a terrible attitude might make items "get lost" during the return process, I gently asked for an itemized receipt to ensure all pieces of the ensemble were checked in. I had to remind the employee to check the shoes in, as well. She in turn, thrust the socks at me. "These are his to keep". Actually, we returned them, unopened and with the tags still on, because some moron thought a size 15 shoe would go well with a size 10-12 sock. Later, I called to clarify - exactly what was the size of his tux and what was the size of his suit he purchased 2 years ago (the same suit he wore a month ago to attend the symphony). Ah. Men's Wearhouse to the rescue. You see, his tux was a 48Long and his suit is a 44Long. So, during the pickup on Thursday at the Waterfront location - for which he was measured 12 weeks ago - I asked "why is this thing like a trash bag on my handsome stud", their response of "oh sorry, nothing we can do about it" was a complete lie. Future grooms -- rent your tux from a local provider. Or, better yet, send your groomsmen to a professional tailor to get measured for free. Then, order your tuxes online from Vietnam. You'll get a tux to keep for the same price as a rental from a craptastic wage slave in the US. read more

Good men's wearhouse, staff seemed to know what they were doing. They were all nice the woman there was nice and understanding of everything I wanted. They had slim and non pleated pants. They seemed to have more classy looking things than weirder tuxedos so I wouldn't go there for an orange or baby blue tux. Overall really good read more

Clearly these people do not know what they are doing. first, they never made the changes online to the party that i needed (taking people off etc.) that i could not do from home. Then, they demanded my dad get the same tux in the same tie color as the groom's father, which is not what i wanted or requested. I told them the dads were in the same tux, but tie color was up to each dad. Every time i went into the store we had bad service, and i felt that they did not really care about my event. Horrible customer service. I returned several tuxedos from a wedding this past weekend. The manager who was working in the store did not look up at me for 5 seconds while I was dropping off. She opened the bag, looked around for 2 seconds, and told me the bowtie was missing and that I'd have to pay for it. I told her that I was sure that all of the pieces were in the bags (I confirmed with the party before taking the bag) but she looked again, for 10 seconds, and said no- they were not. I was charged for the bowtie. I called the groomsman from the car to see where he'd placed his bowtie and he confirmed that it was in the pocket. I returned into the store and asked the manager to double check. She RESISTED and said the tie was absolutely not in the bag but then finally agreed to check again. Guess what? The tie was in the bag - in the pocket of the tuxedo where I had asked her to check. I received no apology - just more frustration that I'd left the receipt for the charged tie in the car. The manager huffed and puffed around before finally giving me my refund. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never rent a tux here again (subpar tuxes for too much money.)
