Came through when I needed them. Long story as short as possible - I had went to one of their other locations to pick up something for my son, but they didn't have it there. They ended up having it here and agreed to hold it for me to come the next day (it was also the last one they had). So I ended up here. I've never been to a Men's Wearhouse before and was now in my second one in less than 24 hours - and just like the other location, I was impressed overall with the neatness, selections, and the friendly employees. I can't say enough how friendly everyone was here and that certainly does go a long way. I found the jacket that they held for me and my son was happy to have gotten the jacket he wanted. I was appreciative they held it. Located in Rockland Plaza, there is more than enough parking spaces in the large lot. Beyond disappointment. My best friend is getting married and he wanted to make it easier on his groomsman. Walked right in was not greeted, went into the counter he had made an appointment. The original idea was that he choose different vests for everyone, and he would wear a suit or tux for the wedding and probably pick up some extra items for the ceremony, etc. All groomsman would get matching pants. He wanted to make it easier for all the groomsman so he decided on doing rentals so no one had to search for matching or exact pair the Grp code would pull up whatever he picked at the store. When I tell you the options were soo beyond limited, I knew it would have been limited but it went beyond my disappointment. So lets break it down. Chosen color - Grey Choices were 1 suit or 1 tux Was he able to try either on? No he had to try on a fitting black outfit pants/blazer for his measurements but would not get to actually try out the actual suit/tux until pickup day. Choice of shirts, accessories, cuff links shoes, not present in store, he has to choose from a picture. We have friends in all walks of life and some may not be as financially sound and others with stressful life situations going on so in the end choose from what was available to make it easier on everyone else. Part of me was really upset because it was his wedding and he had to really think about what was easier on everyone instead of that wow factor I wanted for him to have. I also wanted his bride to be able to say damn this is guy I'm marrying looking amazing in this suit/tux. Right now we don't really even know what to really expect. For now we held the rental but I am gonna try and find alternatives. For rentals, how could you not have more than 1 variation of each color option and how can you not have accessories and shoes at the store. At the end of the day its the grooms choice so if he settled on it then that is what had to happen. Price ended up being more than if he just bought a suit separately if they were on sale. Also the return date for rentals is the day after your wedding? Ridiculous! By the way I was looking for pants and you had full stocks of Haggar brand pants and the rest were just stuff on clearance other then suit separates. Just moved here and needed to rent a suit for a friends wedding. They threw my family into a dressing room didn't explain pricing or anything and rushed us to check out. When we found out the price for the rentals we decided against it. It seemed better to buy a suit than to rental one for the day. Rather than taking the time to try and accommodate our budget and needs The guy behind the counter berated my us for taking up his people's time even though we had been there less than 20 minutes. They completely overcharge for tux rental and customer service is awful. I will never go there again. In the past I've had to go back because they gave the wrong size. Luckily I've made my kids try everything on cause otherwise my older soon would have had no pants for a wedding. I understand that it's easy to make mistakes so I've given them another chance. The customer service was really bad. I came with my parents to get suited for a wedding we were attending. Our suitor was overall very chill but we were waiting more than half the time. The rental price wasn't agreeable for us, which was to be expected in my opinion, so we just decided to cancel. We told what we believe was the manager and he was annoyed, stating we "wasted his guys time, spending over an hour and a half with him." Our appointment was at 11:15 and it has just turned twelve. Not to mention that we were willing on returning at a later time just as a backup incase we couldn't find any suits. One of the workers said that they didn't think anything would fit me and the other one followed us asking if it was the first time I had ever even worn a suit before. I was extremely uncomfortable with that question, as I believe any man walking into a store with his wife would have worn a suit before. One of them then brought me to the children's section, and said that the boys jackets wouldn't fit me but they didn't look to see how I actually looked in them, nor did they take any measurements. They basically told us they couldn't help, recommended h&m (which didn't have suits might I add) and we left. I knew I was going to need alterations because I am a 5'4". They treated me like a child and dismissed me when I said I had looked up my size online on your website and said that wasn't going to fit, that I'd "Swim" in it, meanwhile after we left, we went to a different department store and they were able to get me an adult sized suit immediately and alter it in store with no issue, and the size I bought was the size I told them I would be. My husband and I had the worst experience renting at tuxedo at Men's wear house in Nanuet NY. Went to pick it up and he was measured wrong the jacket was too small. I proceeded to get a larger size jacket and the manager Stephon was nasty. He told me don't ever touch those jackets I said I wouldn't have to if there was better customer service. Stephon was the manager and very unprofessional. He said it would not be in til Thursday maybe 2pm the wedding is 3 pm. I have never encountered such unprofessional behavior this was their error it should be rushed. What a pleasure. I went here stressed having never rented a tux before for my teen. From the time I first called to see if I needed an appointment (no appts btw) , they were so friendly and helpful. Everyone in this store hustles to help people. It was very busy when we were there in the middle of a Saturday afternoon but they were managing everyone so well. Our salesperson Stefan was stellar. He knows his business well and gave us much needed guidance and advice but let my son make the decision of what he finally wanted. I was stresses about this whole process beforehand having never gone through it before but Stefan made this experience pleasant. Even my teen agreed about what huge help he was to us. I texted a few friends who I was communicating with this week about where they were planning on getting their tuxes and told them to come here. Mens Warehouse was especially helpful as the prom isnt local and since they have stores all over the country, they were able to have the tux delivered to a store closer to this prom. They do do much more than tuxes too. We ended up buying a dress shirt and 2 ties while we were there. Stefan took every measurement of my son and sized him perfectly so it was nice to know we were buying the correct size in dress shirts. They have a large selection of mens suits and pants too. Where to begin? My boyfriend and I visited this location in order to purchase a suit for a baptism. We entered the store and had to walk all the way to the back before we were even greeted by anyone. Finally the lady told us that Victor would be over to help us. Great! ... Not! Victor proceeded to take my boyfriends measurements and then make extremely uncomfortable comments about the small selection that the store had in his Large Size. SMH... Victor went on to set the expectation that almost all the choices that my boyfriend wanted would have to be ordered and that he should jump at the fact that they could even order his size. Bravo to the Men's Wearhouse in Nanuet. I was recently the groom in a wedding and had picked up my tux at a Men's Wearhouse closer to home. I was happy with the service there but had to pick up the tux in a rush and hadn't tried it on. I also wasn't fully comfortable with my vest selection. Enter the Men's Wearhouse in Nanuet, closer to the wedding venue. My dad - who also got a tux - and I spent an hour there getting perfectly fit, trying on a number of vests, and even recommending a few accessories. I really wish I remembered the woman's name there because she deserves special mention -- she really went the extra mile to ensure I was comfortable as a groom. Overall, MW was a great experience -- very easy for my groomsmen to pick up and drop off at any MW in the country. If you're a groom, I'd recommend going with them. read more

When I first started my career this was my local go to place. They had a great set of people who had an eye for colors and patterns and could get you looking like a million bucks for a hundred bucks. Through the years I've moved on to private clothiers and the bespoke world which is my choice 18 years later. However when I need an everyday navy or black that's going to get worn heavy I still get to this place. I think their selection is good and if you pick and choose your own styles and colors then it still a great place. So let's talk about this one star I gave to a place I've been going to for years and why I am not going back. The SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS!!!! I've given them numerous chances and its because I had to. There was nowhere else as easy with that much of a selection. However, the staff is bombarded most of the time and if you don't already look like you wear a suit regularly they seem standoffish and rude. Also no one is ever manning the cash registers!! You can go in knowing what you want, pick it up and think that you had a quick shopping experience BUT then you try to pay and it takes 20 minutes. YES!! 20 MINUTES!! On three separate occasions this happened to me and plenty of other patrons that I have watched it happen to. I used to wait but now I just go across the street for a better, quicker, experience that leaves me satisfied with my purchases! i've been coming to this men's warehouse for over the past 10 years and felt it was necessary to leave a review after my own wedding. In my most recent experience I worked with Claude and Jason. Claude and I met 6 months ago when I came in to confirm all of the details of the tux (I grew up in the area, currently live in California, got married in New Jersey) and even helped with a few changes (different color pocket square) that I had. He was extremely professional back then and then when I came in the week of my wedding he was there and helped with re-fitting (pants got too loose since i lost some weight and the shirt was tight since I bulked up) and was just as professional. He took care of the corrections perfectly and I had everything I needed the next day. When I came to pick up my tux I was helped by Jason. He was just as awesome as Claude and made sure everything looked perfect. They even did a on the spot 1/2" hem on my pants because I wasn't completely satisfied. My fiance started the process of getting tuxs for himself and the groomsmen in another store close to us but realized they never measured him. While we were driving through Nanuet I suggested he stop there and get measured. When we went in and gave his name, an employee by the name of Merlyne realized that he had two separate accounts due to an error on the other store's part as well as my fiance (they didn't really explain how he needed to set up his online account). Merlyne was amazing and spent well over an hour dealing with the situation and making phone calls to rectify the error so all the groomsmen would be on one account. After all was said and done, 2 suits with dress shirts and $1500 came back 2 days before the wedding for the fitting after tailoring of both suits. It was evident that both suits were tailored by 2 different people. One suit, the one needed for the wedding was horrendous. It didn't fit and with no availability for the rest of the week left my BF with no suit for the wedding. Not only was the service outrageous the so called manager in charge didn't even have the courtesy of maybe offering a tux for rent for their error. (RESERVATION# 31420107) was made in Altamonte Springs, FL for a wedding in New Jersey. I got to the store to pick up my tux at Men's Warehouse Staff 156 ROCKLAND PLAZA NANUET, NY 10954-2217 845-624-1003 first, they all looked at me weird like i was some kind of alien- probably because of the color of my skin or my wife's head scarf (yes! we are brown and Muslim) However, i went ahead and tried the tuxedo only to find out that the pants were twice as big, the shirt was missing a button, shoes were very dirty. While renting the TUX in Fl, we had rented the best (vera wang) thinking it was the top of the line TUX and the rep measured every thing right also assuring me everything was going to be a perfect fit. However, in Jersey i started asking questions (the wedding was less than 24Hours away and i had no back up) about the fitting and the reps were telling me that there is nothing i can do about it **Rudely** and they (employees) were laughing between themselves when i came out with the TUX to show my wife. This was really embarrassing for me and i was humiliated all the customers were eying me out. I did ask if there were any suits available since it was last min- the employee says to me "Yes, we do have suits but all of them start at $450 and up" To me, i felt like shit telling me i couldn't afford a $450.00 dollar suit (over priced perry Ellis). Again embarrassed me in front of employees, customers and MY WIFE. PISSED AND EMBARRASSED i left the store with no tux, no suit, and no back up plan. Being guests in NJ we were going to the City (Manhattan) that very same day to see a show in Broad way. We had to miss the Broadway show so we could find a suit for my self to wear only hours away. by the time we got to the City got a parking looked for a suit (had to find one ready made since we had no time to tailor and of course the labor day weekend rush in NY) AND OH YES! FORGOT TO MENTION I HAD TO MAKE MY WIFE WALK FOR 2 HOURS IN THE CITY AND SHE IS 6 AND HALF MONTHS PREG. Guess what comes to the Rescue - MACYS in the city (Time square) Found a Ralph Lauren Suit *Perfect Fit. *Excellent service - David was his name (rep) gave me a great price. I honestly spend 8 min, picking a suit, trying and completing purchase. *excellent price. Missed a show at broad way, made my pregnant wife walk for over 2 hours, missed dinner (when it is important for her to eat) You (Menswear house) are probably going to discard this email - but i will make sure this is at every major rating website. This was the most embarrassing and hurtful day of my life. I will never ever forget this day and i will make sure i remind everyone not to step in your store. You are thinking i need compensation and that is why i am writing to you.
