Went in with my wife today (12/31/22) to get a couple suits as I will start practicing law later this year. A couple hours later, came out with two nice quality complete suits (one blue and one gray). Also a nice patterned blazer. Needed trousers hemmed, so they measured me there and marked the clothes. Also picked up a nice thick gray pea coat. My wife and the sales lady had me try on a bunch of shirts to mix & match with my suits. Many were on clearance. Also picked out some nice blue corduroy trousers and another pair of colored pants that I can mix in with the shirts/ blazers. The sales associate (Stacey?) did a great job measuring and picking out the suits according to my wants. Had a great experience all around. Definitely recommend. read more

Went through this place for my groomsmen. Started off great got sized up and got the tuxedos ordered. A week before the wedding we were able to pick them up. Not one of the rentals were remotely close to the right size( I do understand they are rentals and won't fit appropriately) but they were way off. I ended up getting my pants and shirt else where for cheaper than the rental. Customer service was not there. I am extremely disappointed how we got treated throughout. Situations beyond their control occurred (shipping truck issues) on prom day, and every employee did amazing work, and focused on each individual customer's needs. On a super stressful situation for many, the employees were kind and professional, and did everything possible to ensure customers acquired the next best they could offer (and then some)! Pretty decent experience renting a tux for our son's homecoming dance. When we first came in to the store, there were only 3 reps working and a lot of people standing around waiting to be helped, so that was disappointing as there was quite a wait. BUT, the young man that helped was super relaxed, friendly, helpful, and knew what he was talking about. Once he started helping my son, we were in and out of there fairly quickly. I cant remember the young mans name but he made it a super easy process. When my son picked the tux up, they forgot his pocket color square and he didnt have time to go back and get it, so he went without, which was a little bit of a bummer. Return was easy enough. Prices are on the high end for such a short rental but hey, cheaper than buying a tux, and my son looked very handsome. read more

It would have been a great start if the gentlemen (for the life of me, I don't remember his name) greeted us. He was very welcoming but later directed us to the rental's dept. and that's where it went downhill. The lady who helped us was unfriendly like and felt like she didn't want to be there. We signed up online to get suits for our groomsmen and the groom. We wanted to see options but felt like she was force to pull anything out for us. Overall, we wished that the gentlemen who greeted us helped us throughout the way. There was other staff around but didn't even try to help. If you are considering shopping at Men's Wearhouse in west Olympia for a wedding or other important event, stop. DO NOT GO HERE. From the beginning, Men's Wearhouse was completely unprepared to handle a group order. You'd think a chain that handles weddings would be used to this. But none of its employees knew what they were doing. When we set up the group, we were told our groomsmen only needed our names and wedding date to order the correct clothes. When the groomsmen came in to order clothes, they were told they needed a group number, and it was too difficult to find the group without that number. When we called to ask what our group number was, the young female associate could not even be bothered to look up our account. She made up a group number and provided inaccurate information about how long the orders would take. This same employee has been on her personal cell phone on every visit we made to the store. The fact that she still has a job shows exactly how much Men's Wearhouse values customer service. Even after we received the correct group number, the errors continued. The worst part came when we realized that Men's Wearhouse gave one of our best men the WRONG PANTS. Not just a wrong size, but a completely different color and pair of pants. They never even realized their error, and sent him home with the pants. Luckily he realized their error with two whole weeks before the wedding. Men's Wearhouse assured us they would order another pair and guaranteed they would get here in time. Our groomsman called Men's Wearhouse every single day. He was repeatedly told that the pants were on their way and would arrive "tomorrow." But just one day before the wedding, Men's Wearhouse admitted that they did not have the pants. Their guarantee meant nothing. The replacement pair of pants that they assured us would certainly arrive in time "got lost in shipment." Supposedly, an "empty box" arrived instead. This comedy of errors is simply too improbable to believe. It seems that the company did not even bother to order a replacement pair of pants. And instead of ever admitting this mistake, they lied and said that the pants were on their way, and when that failed, that they were mysteriously lost. With one day before the wedding, our best man asked Men's Wearhouse to overnight yet another pair of pants. That was clearly not going to happen. Instead, Men's Wearhouse set him up with a rental pant that was close to - but did not match - the color of our groomsmen's pants. This was the best fix we could get at this point, so we agreed. The icing on top: Men's Wearhouse had the nerve to charge this groomsman for this rental pair of pants. He was told he would be refunded if he brought them back. You'd think they could waive the rental fee. Throughout this entire process, it became clear that our satisfaction was not a priority. We are still waiting for Men's Wearhouse to make this situation right, as they promised they would. They caused us so much unnecessary stress for us in wedding planning and gave our groomsmen additional hassle by being unhelpful, uninformed, and unhappy to be at work. My husband and I are both young attorneys, and we wear suits often. If men's Wearhouse can't find a way to right this wrong, we will not longer be doing business with them, and we will recommend our associates do not either. I certainly hope I am able to update this review with concrete evidence that Men's Wearhouse cares about its customers and is willing to right the many wrongs that occurred. Until them, I strongly urge you to shop anywhere else for your wedding needs. Do not do business with a company that will only add additional stress to your life, especially on such an important occasion. read more

I've all in all had good experiences with MW, being in a business position with customer contact, asks me to appear rather formal than business casual. I found the quality of merchandise very satisfactory, yet you will spend some money there, if you go all in and follow their sales personnels "suggestions", which is more a let's sell some more, because I work on commission. Their specials can be quite awesome, especially the buy one get one for free can be very beneficiary. But to the contrary, they will advise you correctly and for this I like this business a lot, compared to the competition in the usual mall department stores. So I guess you get what you pay for, meaning you want a good service, you'll have to pay for it. read more

I rented a suit here for my cousin's wedding that was in Boise a couple years ago. They screwed it up. I had different shoes and a half vest thing when everyone else had a full vest as requested in the information they had. They insisted I would look like everyone else in the wedding instead I looked like an ass. I found out later after talking to some friends and apparently this is a regular thing here. The only benefit is that I was able to return the suit in Boise when after the wedding. Kind of nice but it different save me any embarassment. read more

Kinda hate these people. They are SO rude. I am not sure I have every had worse customer service in my life. They glance at you like you are less than furniture and are incredibly condescending. Most of the staff also have no fashion sense and are unable to help with coordinating an outfit or finding what looks best on you. They are also very expensive! You don't even get garment bag, even after we laid out hundreds of dollars! Two of their staff were not completely horrible. Collin was sweet, if inexperience. Kiara in the tuxedo shop was actually really great - she gave us lots of options and obviously had a ton of knowledge. Honestly you are better off going to JC Penny's. I walked into this store with my Fiance'. There were 3 employees who had customers who all took a turn to look at us. None of the employees said a word. I proceeded to count to 30 to give them a opportunity to say anything. They all took another turn looking at us and said nothing. So we left and I'll never shop at Men's Wear House again. I found a great local placed called G.miller at 501 Capitol Way South Olympia, they took great care me and I was more then satisfied with their customer service and clothing selection. Had a REALLY bad experience when shopping for suits for our wedding. I had emailed the corporate, but was annoyed they didn't do anything but say sorry. I felt like a victim of discrimination. My husband's last name is "Chi" and when they input his brother's name it was "Kim Chi." I will never go back here. Mostly A bad experience. I live a ways away and drove to the facility on Thursday night to pick up my tux as scheduled. Turns out, the tux was not ready. I really wish that someone would have called to save me the drive. I had to do the drive (my wife actually) the following day to pick up the tux at the last minute - and it made things very tight and chaotic in terms of getting to my event fully dressed and on time. No effort to accommodate the mistake through credit or refund. Just not a tight ship. read more

My wedding tuxedo didn't fit and the followup customer service was very poor! My first fitting was 8 weeks before my daughters wedding. That appointment went very well and the staff was attentive and professional and everything that they presented fit very well and I'm a big guy. I was notified 5 days before the big event that the tuxedo was ready. I tried it on the next day and everything but the pants fit in the calfs and the length. TMH staff said they could only fix the pants length and not the calf fit so I had to live with it. The pants were uncomfortable! This entire situation could have been easily prevented if not for TMW stupid policy of just in time guaranted delivery. It left NO time to fix a major problem like this one. The Mens Warehouse is not low cost and the West Olympia store is not very good on about customer service. They do have a good system for arranging a wedding party can get the correct tuxedos ordered from across the country and returning the suits to any store. read more

The store was almost empty with two salespeople standing in the back talking. Didn't even take notice of us.. Then a guy came up and ask what we were looking for and was very abrupt and short in his speech.. Then all the time working with my friend he acted like we were inconveniencing him. I went here with great reluctance the other day to see if I could find a few semi casual basics. I decided to try it out because options are very limited for this sort of thing where I live. Expecting the worst, because of other reviews, I went in with a bad attitude and left a total convert. The selections were wide and included all the styles and brands I would normally see in any Department store. More importantly (for me) was the customer service. There were 3 guys on staff, each of whom let me know they were there to help, but did not shadow me or push for sales in any way. Each of them had answers to my questions, or found the answers right away. There was an issue with a coupon which was resolved by the Manager, to my complete satisfaction, on the spot. I thought it would be a nightmare experience and it was just the opposite. Jacob Pierce was the main consultant who helped me with everything (i grabbed one of his cards). He not only helped a fashion challenged guy like me get it all together, he also went out of his way to contact another store and arrange delivery of an important accessory. I don't like shopping - and hate clothes shopping - but I would definitely make this location of Men's Warehouse my fist choice for any future clothing needs. Thanks guys! read more

Why I won't return: 1. They never bothered to apologize when I told them there were problems with the tux I rented. 2. They failed to tell me beforehand there is a $20 late fee for each day rentals are not returned. 3. There was a snobby young guy that had a ridiculous suprised look with a sarcastic smile the entire time I was talking to him and the other girl at the desk about what was wrong with the tux. Initially they said they would give me a partial refund but then said they would just drop the late charges. 4. They lied and said no one in town could beat their prices but I found that to be just the opposite from the truth (when I went somewhere else in a panic due to the screw up). We had one of our suits tailored here after purchasing from the Tacoma Mens Wearhouse. We received the suitpants back, which were supposed to be taken in a little and could not even button them the tailor did such a bad job with measurements. Also had the tailor fix a seam on another pair of pants and again, very poorly done. We recieved the pants back wrinkled and not pressed! Would highly recommend anyone in Olympia to travel to a different store for any services. Incredibly disappointed in the professionalism and quality. I can tell she wanted to make my experience the best possible. Now the men. The men here in general were lack luster in their service. First off they seemed arrogant. And I felt like I always had to chase somebody down to get service, even when the store was empty. The selection was poor and the men's ability to color coordinate and offer good suggestions was nonexistent. Absolute worst service of my life! They messed up the tuxes for our wedding three times! First trip into the shopy fiancé was treated like complete crap, we called corporate and they were chewed out but the horrible service continued when we went back in hoping for a better visit and the girl who helped us chomped and popped her gum the entire time then when returned to pick up his tux gave my fiancé a mismatched mess for his wedding day. When you order a $200 tux for a tuxedo rental and they don't even order the right shoe size, and can't find an 11w in the entire store to help accommodate, I'm sorry I have a problem with that. My foot didn't grow in the last 2 months I was measured. My suggestion either measure right the first time or have spares in the store, people are paying an arm and a leg for these rentals. I had high hopes coming into Men's Warehouse to find tuxes or suits for my fiance and his groomsmen to rent. The customer service was fair. My fiance and I set up an appointment, and when we arrived two of the salespeople squabbled over who would help us. That was a bit awkward. My greatest issue was with the product variety. We were looking for a classic, yet modern look, something that would look professional, clean, and fitted. Nothing too fancy or tacky. Men's Warehouse had a few nice tuxes -- the Vera Wang options were solid -- but, they don't offer suits. And their accessories are atrocious. The vest and tie options looked like something someone would have worn to a tacky prom or to a Hawaiian themed wedding in 1995. I would have preferred a clean three-piece suit, where the jacket, pants, and vest match. Vera Wang offered this as a tux, but some folks aren't looking for the satin. In today's wedding world, tuxes are beginning to look misplaced, especially when they are heavy on the satin as the Men's Warehouse tuxes are. Folks are beginning to hold weddings in old, refurbished barns, beautiful vintage churches, or a neighbor's yard or field... they don't need satin accented tuxes. They need beautifully tailored suits. I ended up traveling to a shop in Kirkland, WA (near Bellevue) that offered beautiful, tailored three-piece suits for rent. The Tuxedo Shop in Kirkland offered "everything but socks and underwear" for a price better than Men's Warehouse's best deals. read more

Wanted to get my suit tailored for my wedding. Was given a quote on the phone around $50-70. Sounded fair, so i went to the store and was told that there was also a fee for suits that were bought else where. Was never told that on the phone. Talked to the manager and said it would be $120 or more. They wouldn't honor the quote on the phone as it was their mess up. The manager didn't even seem to care. The customer service is TERRIBLE! Do not go here. Run fast as you can, I will tell everyone i know to go else where. Bad bad buisness. read more
