0 Stars! I paid $1,185.95 plus a $200 tip for a prom dress for my daughter's senior prom, and the zipper failed on the big night! When I contacted the shop, they showed zero sympathy for how important the evening was and offered no apology or compensation whatsoever. They insisted that if the zipper was going to fail, it would have done so in the store -- "never" outside of it. Their solution was to fix the zipper the following day, which was completely unacceptable since the dress was needed that night. To make matters worse, they wanted me to drive over an hour to University Village at 3:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon with my daughter stuck in the broken dress so they could "inspect" the zipper. My daughter was part of a group of 11 seniors headed to professional pictures, dinner, and the prom--time was extremely limited. This lack of understanding and flexibility made a very stressful situation even worse. When I expressed my desire for a refund, I was told it was outside their 30-day window and no refund or exchange would be offered. When we purchased the dress, we were told we had to buy it immediately to have it in time for the dance--essentially protecting them from any responsibility, no matter the circumstances. Adding insult to injury, when my daughter tried contacting the woman for help to get out of the dress, her calls went unanswered and were never returned. We were also wrongly accused of zipping the dress incorrectly and misaligning the zipper teeth. Anyone who has dealt with formal dresses knows it takes more than one person to zip these dresses. None of the teeth were damaged, and the zipper was not misaligned -- my daughter was fully zipped into the dress before it failed. They clearly don't care about your special evening; the money is the only thing that matters. I cannot recommend this shop for formal dresses. There are shops that care far deeper than your pockets. Shopping experience & finding the "perfect" dress is only PART OF THE PROCESS. Wish my daughter & granddaughter had read some of the negative reviews before making the trip down to this store! Maybe the owner is "jaded" after being in this type of business for so long, or is only focusing on dollar signs..... but some empathy, and a reminder of what customer service is REALLY ABOUT and the importance of good memories of senior prom for an 18 year old senior. as well as the financial investment of $1300 don't seem to matter. My daughter relayed to me last evening May 31, 2025 (the night of the prom), after they had to "pin" my granddaughter into her dress. But can you imagine how upsetting & stressful this is for a young lady wanting everything to be perfect...... as well as the inconvenience for the entire group of 11 peers who had to wait to proceed in rented vehicle to photographer appt, dinner & prom. Disappointing in how owner handled the ENTIRE situation....... and in reading some other comments, laying blame at the feet of the purchaser seems to be her go to excuse. I would NOT recommend. I had ordered a Nadia S dress before through another special occasion store and had a good experience. I recently ordered the Navy Vegas sequin dress for a special occasion and not only received a poorly made product, but the poor customer service and retention. I would expect this from a lower quality or lower line retailer, but I would not recommend purchasing from Nadia's. Not only did I indicate that I was a return customer, but because the dress was pretty see through, should have lining and all photos with flash showed what poor quality the dress was. I ordered online a few weeks before my wedding. The dress was in stock but showing a 10 day ship time. I contacted them and paid for expediting shipping. Upon receiving, the dress was constructed weird and the quality was not up to par. I reached out about an exchange and got crickets for weeks. I continuously called and emailed and they just kept bouncing me around to other people. Once I finally got a response, they told me I could only have store credit - which would have been fine if they had responded in a timely manner and I had time to exchange before my wedding. However, my wedding had passed and they were unwilling to issue a refund even though their poor customer service had resulted in me being unable to use the store credit. My daughter and I went to Nadia's Evening in Edmonds, WA to look for a prom dress. My daughter found one she loved so I asked Nadine if we could get a new dress instead of the sample dress from the rack that my daughter (along with others) had been trying on. Nadine brought my daughter 2 new dresses out of bags but they both fit completely different than the sample. The lining was different, etc. I then asked if we could get a discount for purchasing the sample. She rudely told me that if there was nothing wrong with it then No. So my daughter and I carefully looked it over in her dressing room, agreed it was fine and bought it full price $208 plus tax. Nadine did not look it over with us. I asked for one clip to be reinforced and asked if it could be steamed. Nadine agreed to fixing the clip and told me to hang the dress in the bathroom to steam it but then the alterations lady (who was going to fix the straps) said she would steam it. Nadine acted like I was asking for a ticket to the moon! We left it there for alterations. The alterations lady was fabulous! She was sweet, helpful and professional. Unlike Nadine. We were playing $40 for the strap alteration. Two weeks later on Mother's Day, my daughter ran in to try on the dress. I met her their a few minutes later, looked at the straps which were perfect, I asked for a garment bag which they found and tied at the bottom so the dress was not exposed. Nadine did not get up from her desk to look at the dress or say hello. When I got home and took it out of the bag, I immediately noticed a few black spots near the bottom and front (spots were larger than a quarter in size each) and called the store. Nadine answered and asked me to text her pictures which I did. We exchanged a few texts (which I have saved) and I asked for a credit so I could have it dry cleaned. She then called me, told me that I was harassing her, she started yelling at me, talking over me, calling me PRIVILEGED etc. That's when my son started recording as he could not believe what he was hearing! My son told Nadine he was recording. Nadine tried to blame it on the alterations lady and asked me if I had it altered somewhere else, wouldn't I be calling them if it came back damaged? I tried to say (but she wouldn't let me talk) that Yes I would be calling my alterations place as the spots were obviously not there when we bought it and left it at Nadia's. But I did NOT take the dress to an outside alterations store. I left it at Nadia's Evening with Nadine. The story goes on but nothing was resolved. Nadine offered me a ten dollar credit (LOL) and the alterations lady said that I could bring it back to Edmonds so she could try to spot clean it. It's a 40 min one way drive so I declined. Then Nadine offered a full refund if I returned it. So I plan on doing that. I own 2 small businesses and I have never treated any of my customers this way nor have I ever been treated like this as a customer. If the situation rates less than 5 stars, I usually don't waste my time. However, this was absolutely awful! read more

I had such a fabulous experience here! After struggling to find a gown for a black tie wedding at numerous stores, I ended up at Nadia S Evening, and things couldn't have turned out better. We popped in on a Saturday afternoon, and had Nadine's undivided attention while she pulled dresses for me to try on. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and obviously has such a passion for what she does, which showed. Her staff was also awesome, and worked with me on alterations and a final fitting. The store is super cute, with a nice selection of bridal, evening gowns, and accessories. I would highly recommend a visit if you're looking for something fancy. read more

My Mom and I just found my mom's Mother of the Bride dress here! Nadia is amazing and so knowledgeable. It is so rare to have someone that works as hard as she does to find something that makes you feel confident and beautiful. The dress we picked was something I would have never picked off of the rack for my mom, but it is such an amazing dress and even more importantly, she feels beautiful in it! My mom is still very young looking, so we didn't want to put to her in one of those awful mother of the bride gowns. No matter what you're looking for, Nadia has such a huge selection of gorgeous gowns, and there's nothing that's run of the mill... or looks like something you could just go get at your local department store. I've gone to multiple bridal fittings and realized not only does the dress needs to be right, the people/business I'm supporting and working with also needs to be right! I mean, if you're going to spend the money, it needs to be spent appropriately right? The gown I chose here is on the higher end of the gowns I've tried on from other places, but Both Nadine and her mother were so sweet and genuine that I knew they were right for me! They're a little boutique, and they handle their customers very well in understanding what the brides looking for and what would look best on them! They made me feel comfortable and were honest when dresses were not appropriate for my body shape and age. I definitely appreciated that! I'm a bit self conscious, but in no way did I feel awkward or uncomfortable during my time there. They're really nice about letting you try on their dresses (some places wont even let me touch the zipper) and I believe they know as well as we do, that the dresses are good quality. Unlike Bellevue Bridal, the dresses were all new and clean! (I didnt know I had to worry about this). My skins really sensitive, but I could tell the difference in quality and build of these dresses versus the cheaper collections out there. I love that they're patient and not pushy. My sisters and I are a bit sensitive to aggressive people or people with a strong agenda just to get you to buy something...but we didn't get that feeling from them at all! I liked them so much that I drove from kent to edmonds twice in one day to retry on a dress (second time with my mom). I usually like to think things through and do some research online, but I went ahead and purchased both my evening and bridal gown because I just knew it was the right place for me. It's much more different to work with an owner and her mom instead of employees. There's also a 'purchase in the same day' kind of deal you can ask about. The dress collection itself was very gorgeous. They have a much more 'elegant' high quality selection. And even my mom had a blast with trying on her evening dresses! I love that its mom and daughter working together. The ambiance is very loving and warm. And I trust they'll do what they can to ensure my gowns are ready for me to wear on probably one of the more stressful days of my life haha. I emailed to make an appointment and didn't hear back for several months because the owners were on vacation. I finally got an appointment booked out to try on dresses and the day before I called to confirm and they said yes I'm scheduled in. I show up and they have no idea who I am and said they were fully booked for the day. I was pissed so they filled me in. This place seems extremely unorganized and unfriendly. I found a dress I liked and asked her for the designer and name of the dress and she told me to write it down while she said it and couldn't even write down what dresses I liked for me. Not your typical bridal dress shop. I found a dress I liked but I went elsewhere to find it since I was afraid of how unorganized they were if I bought from them. read more

At first my experience there was extremely helpful and they catered to my needs. I was in love with a dress that exceeded my budget and they helped me in regards to that by accommodating to me. Still hesitant, since I still needed my veil and accessories, the owner told me that they could include those in my package. Thrilled, I agreed! I picked up my dress and expected everything and then they seemed to claim that we had a "miscommunication" and did not what to give me what we had agreed on. Not sure if it is normal to have your measurements taken and pay for a dress to be ordered, then when the dress arrives the dress needs massive alterations. Told that they no longer have a seamstress on-site and you will have to go to Bellevue, which is very inconvenient. Found a seamstress locally, it is now going to cost $200 for alterations, and was told in her 40 years of completing alterations, she has never worked on a dress that has to be altered 5 inches on both sides. I was downtown on a random Tuesday afternoon just getting coffee and stumbled upon this place. I knew that I was looking for a prom dress yet, but decided to pop in anyways. Upon coming in, I was automatically greeted with warm hospitality. The mother and daughter duo that owned the place were kind, not pushy, and very helpful in finding the right dress for me. There was lots of selection in both prom style dresses and wedding dresses with multiple styles available in up to 80 different colors. They were very attentive while finding the right dress for my body type and really wanted me to find a dress where I felt confident. This experience was unlike many other stores that seem to push you to buy a dress just to get the commission, here they actually cared. Amazing place to shop for prom dresses! The dresses are neatly displayed on the hangers and they have all different types of dresses in all different price ranges. I ended up getting my dress off the sales rack for only about $190 which is a steal in my opinion! The sales associates are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful and do not pressure you at all. They also offer alterations in store and are willing to help you alter your dress in almost any way you want. Overall a wonderful experience with no stress and a great selection of dresses. It's such a cute store. I was actually worried I wouldn't be able to afford the dresses, but they are reasonably priced. They told me that all their bridesmaid's dresses were under $200 and I got a beautiful one for $150. The wedding I was in was two weeks away and I had difficulties in other stores finding one that will get shipped in time and in my size. Their plus size selection is awesome and everyone was so kind. I came with my friend to help her find her wedding dress. Initially the staff was very helpful and kind. My friend found a dress that she absolutely adored but it was out of her range. They informed her that they were willing to work with her budget and make sure her dress, veil, necklace and earing set all totaled would NOT exceed her budget. They even said if she paid her down payment in cash they could lower the price even further. Of course being super thankful, she immediately went to withdraw cash and signed up with a monthly payment plan. After making all her payments she went to pick up her dress only to find out that she was literally only getting the dress. They claimed "miscommunication" and said they would seperately have to charge her for everything other than the dress. If you decide to gamble and shop here, take a video recorder with you and record all conversations. If you take a voice recorder, they might try to claim that it's not their voice. They should know better than to deal with customers ESPECIALLY brides to be in this manner. #LIARS read more
