I love it and hope the weather stays nice for a few more weeks so I can wear it somewhere. Chrissy is extremely professional, communicated well with me and had the dress completed when she said it would be finished. Chrissy was incredibly pleasant to work with, as well: friendly, down to earth, intuitive, a great listener, and highly skilled. Amr was constantly seen talking with other co-workers when he was supposed to help me. It was only after a short while during the middle of the process, Amr said I should probably just come back at a later time to try this again. Told me I'm taking way too long and measuring me will take an additional 45 minutes (mind you this was around noon when I came in). I told him I don't even live in Washington and coming to this store was out of my way. I don't think he made any efforts to care. Not wanting to start a confrontation, I simply left and drove 4 hours home. There is a good news to all of this though as I did not give up on the brand because I really liked Suitsupply and what they offer. I flown out to Washington DC and visited the Suitsupply store in Georgetown as I've read it's the best location in the country. I walked in and out in less than 30 minutes. Paid $1.2k for a made to measure suit. Wish my experience in Bellevue was better so I wouldn't have to go out of my for this whole ordeal.

Making an appointment shows a commitment towards the process and gives them an idea of how many staff to have on hand. We worked with a young man named Dakota. He was very friendly and outgoing and not pushy or obnoxious. He listened to what we were looking for and found the perfect options right down to a shirt and tie. Yes, you could spend less going to one of the warehouse stores, but you're not going to get near the level of service or the quality of merchandise. We placed our order four days ago and they had to custom order the suit jacket. It arrived today and I'm very grateful that we were able to get it this quickly. My son has grad school. Interviews lined up and I want him to look and feel confident walking into each one. With this new suit, he will surely be able to do that. Overall great experience and highly recommend.

The staff person was attentive and very friendly. There were no high-pressure sales. The items are a little bit more pricey although I felt like I got a good deal on my particular evening dress. I think the price point is right on however for a boutique fashion shop with one of a kind designs. I will definitely be back again for more night out on the town outfits. So, here is the pants story. My stepmother is animate about needing pants for my father. My…read morebrothers all have tried to purchase pants for him. These purchases do not meet my stepmothers expectations. I bought him pants, unfortunately they do not meet her requirements. She is increasingly frustrated with these purchases, saying he needs immediate help. My father historically couldn't care less about pants. She has made several calls to me, explaining there is a pants crisis and he has nothing to wear. So, I took him to several places to find pants. He needs 29 length, which most places do not carry. A bit of a back story, my father hates any clothing that is nice. My mother tried purchasing fashionable clothing for my father. He refused to wear her purchases. My stepmother is now trying to upgrade his clothing. At 93, he prefers to wear shorts. So, after trying many stores, we come to Men's Warehouse. We are met with the kind help of Mr. T. He is so helpful in selecting pants for my father. I try to stay in the background, as his wife has deliberate standards for pants. After two hours, one pair of pants is deemed acceptable. These are hemmed to 29 length. So happy for a solution to the pants crisis. Unfortunately, she calls me several weeks later. The custom pants are unacceptable to her. She wishes to return the pants and find a more appropriate pair. Oh no. I am embarrassed to go back to Men's Warehouse after their helpful services. I do take them both back to Men's Warehouse. As my stepmother is very adamant about pants, I let her navigate the pants situation. She comes to me, after being helped. She is unhappy. Several pairs of pants are appropriate for my father. Unexplainable, she refuses the 20.00 feet to hem them. And, they cannot return the altered pants. My father has mobility issues at this stage of life. Meaning, it is difficult to come outside his retirement home. Probably one of the saddest moments in my life, his total confusion at the entire pants transaction. He couldn't believe that we were leaving without a pants purchase. I tried to explain to him that his wife did not approve the suggested pants recommendations. Mr. T was so helpful and positive throughout these encounters. He took an incredible amount of time helping them. He was kind to me, acknowledging my discomfort about the situation. He was the positive note in these several transactions. Thank you Mr. T for all of your help.

I asked for a bag and took off Mayr shirt I was about to purchase. The associate edge me the bag and I had to put my crumpled bought shirt in the bag. There was no motivation to fold the shirt or ask me how my experience was. I honestly would have preferred a Uniqlo self-serve option. On the opposite end, there is a seasoned associate that is very classy and walks me to the various selections. He is very attentive like a somalier at a fancy hotel. He provides input as needed and is very knowledgeable about fit and cut. I don't know his name and he is my go to. I hope The Men's Wearhouse can step up their customer service game.

We first looked up the websites of various stores, but we were not sure about his actual size. Then I bought one dress shirt from an outlet store, but it turned out that it didn't fit him well despite the size wise was correct. We decided to come to this store to get the right measurements and get the fitted shirts for him. After browsing for a while, we kept seeing big dress shirts but rarely saw any size S shirts. We walked up to an Asian staff (We don't know his name.) who was just helping other customers to see if he could help. After he took care of other customers, he measured my son's neck and arm and let us know the size my son should be wearing. My son was looking for a black dress shirt as now most of his concerts required black shirts and pants. It turned out that those shirts were all sold out, so he brought a different color to let my son try to see if that fit well. The sleeves were a bit long, but only like half inch difference, so we decided to leave them as is and would do alteration if that really bothers my son. He placed an order for a black shirt to ship directly to our house for free. We also got a white tux shirt to go with his tux. The staff explained to us that the studs must be removed before the putting into the washing machine and that at one point those would need to be replaced. I asked to see some studs in case we would need to replace. He helped me find some good deals with those studs. At the end, I asked him to validate the parking ticket. I thought I would get only 2 hours since it says two hour parking at the parking lot. He gave us 4 hours! We were able to swing by some other places without worrying about the parking time limit. My second trip to this store is still pleasant as my last trip for my older son. When we need men's formal wears, this store is definitely my first go-to place.

I couldn't ask for a better experience and am extremely thankful for the dedicated service.

After many trips to mall and surfing on-line stores I was having a very hard time finding the perfect prom dress that would be "one of a kind" and stand out, until my boyfriends sister which is a diehard fan of this store recommended Samila's Boutique...they carry a very large selection and variety of high quality formal dresses in all colors for all special occasions. I found the staff to be very kind and courteous with great attention to detail and service, Yassi the managers daughter was very patient with me, was very sensitive to my needs and gave me about 2 hours of her undivided attention, she allowed me try on as many dresses as I wanted (I tried on 9 dresses, lol) I ended up purchasing 2 dresses, one for my prom and one for my sisters engagement party for the following week. Yassi supervised the fitting for one off my dresses that needed some minor alterations, the alteration cost was very reasonable and ended up being a PERFECT fit ;) My dad ended up paying about $700 for both dresses butt me and my mom felt like we purchased my dresses at a very fair price that would have ended up costing much more if we wanted to make the same purchase at one of the high end department stores. A few things to keep in mind, if you want to visit the store during or around prom season try to visit the store during the week days, I made my purchase during the week and was able to get a lot of personal attention but when I went back during the weekend to pick up my dress after alterations the store was packed with a lot of girls shopping for prom. As for the comment below about culture, the owners and managers are originally from Europe and may come across as having a different culture and manner but they are very kind, honest and customer service oriented, they are very knowledgeable and have been in this business for over two generations, I know this because I made friends with the managers daughter and invited her to join my network of friends and family on FB. Also most of the dresses in the store come in European sizes witch run a bit smaller than American sizes so if you are recommended to try on a larger size don't be offended, they know what they are talking about, just try on the dress and if it feels to large then try on a smaller size, trust me as a beautiful girl that has always packed a few extra pounds I have often damaged a high quality dress by breaking the zipper trying to squeeze in into a smaller size and then having to sneak it back on to the rack in the department store lol, I guess that's just not fair if you are the shop owner! We had a great experience at this shop and look forward to visiting them for my younger sister's home coming dress, they made me feel special ;) read more

I was married last Fall in 2021. I bought my wedding dress, belt, veil and headpiece from Samila's. My sister, mother and mother in law bought their dresses for my wedding from here as well. We have been happy customers from their boutique for many years for various formal wear, so it was a no brainer for me when I got engaged to come here for my wedding dress. They have soooo many beautiful dresses for any occasion. I was planning my wedding as a short term engagement, (only 3 months) so I knew I may not have the time to order a dress months in advanced. It was very easy to make an appointment online. I went with an off the rack appointment since time was a resource I was short on. They had many options for me to try. I had txt my inspo pictures and size ahead of time so when I got there everything was ready. All of the staff and the owner are super amazing and friendly! They go above an beyond to make the experience of finding a dress very personal and all about you and your big day. Their location is quite out of the way for me (Prepare for traffic,) but they are totally worth it. I found a dress that I loved and fit my rustic barn/ Latin vibes theme... I came in with just barely enough time to actually custom order the dress with my measurements. The price was great! But be aware that everything adds up, even with custom measurements you will probably have to pay some for alterations as the measurements cannot be exact to your body SHAPE. As the day drew near and I came back in for my dress fitting; there was an issue with my hem. This was my only meltdown that I had during my wedding planning process. I burst into tears feeling terribly anxious and overwhelmed. Once the owner noticed my distress, she investigated the issue and took all responsibility to get it fixed as soon as possible. They took great care with me and wanted to make sure everything was to my liking and absolutely perfect and in time for my wedding day. I felt beautiful on my big day; my mom, MIL and sister also looked fabulous. Samila's was great to communicate with. They have such a lovely team of people; They are all like family now. Since then my sister in law and cousin have also found there dream dress for their weddings here. And It feels extra great to be able to support a local family business. I can't thank them enough!!! Samila Boutique was the third salon I visited to try on wedding dresses. I had found dresses and aspects about dresses that I liked, but they just weren't "the dress". After browsing through thousands of dresses online and trying on at least 40 others, I had a very specific vision of the dress I wanted. I wanted an A-line, all-over traditional lace dress, with a little bit higher waist, straps, sweetheart neckline, and I wanted to be able to breath in it. I walked into Samila Boutique with my mom and sister for my appointment, we were greeted immediately by Taylor, who told me she'd be helping me try on dresses. She took us to the dressing rooms toward the back of the salon, to a beautiful room where you're surrounded by elegant wedding gowns, sparkling chandeliers, and comfy couches- this place is gorgeous. Taylor asked me what I was looking for in a dress, I showed her some pictures, and she went off to find some options. In the meantime, she had communicated with Yasmin (the operating partner and lead stylist) who picked up right where Taylor dropped off. Yasmin sat down with us and went more in depth with us about my dress and Taylor came back with some options. I immediately fell in love with the lace on the first dress I tried on. Yasmin recognized that I was a very visual person, so they ended up manipulating the dress to fit every aspect I was envisioning in a dress to ensure I could really see it - and oh man, did we see it. There were tears from all of us! It was truly a "say yes to the dress" moment, which I thought I wouldn't have. They are now making me my dream dress. Taylor and Yasmin were the dream team. Even though my appointment ran over, they never made me feel rushed. Making the sale was not the priority, making sure I was happy and that I got everything I dreamed of in a dress, was. No other salon I visited created an experience that was comparable to the one I had at Samila Boutique and no one provided the same level of concentrated customer service. Wow wow wow! This place has stolen my heart. I knew I had to go here after 3 of my dearest friends purchased their bridal gowns here and had nothing but wonderful things to say about their experience! Now I get to write my own (is this real life?!) This was the first (and now only) place I went to look for my dream dress. I loved that after I booked my appointment, they sent me a questionnaire, getting more details about my special day and getting familiar with what styles of dresses I gravitate more towards. That way when I got there we didn't have to spend too much time on that and get some dresses on! Of course, everyone there doesn't mind chatting as well! The moment I walked into the boutique, I was greeted warmly by Yasmin and some other ladies at the front desk. Everyone working there is so warm and encouraging! The atmosphere is so fun! My guests felt so welcomed as well. My consultant, Perry, was so awesome! She kept us laughing and had answers to all our questions! Not to mention she was so accommodating when I asked to see more dresses a couple of times and when my appointment went over time! When I put on the last dress, I knew it was the one. But me being the woman I am, I still had to mull it over a bit with my family and friends at lunch. We discussed and went back into the boutique, asked some questions, shared my fear of FOMO (since it was my first dress shopping I had done) but Yasmin put my mind at ease right away without being pushy or seeming like she just wanted me to buy the dress to make the sale. She was kind, encouraging and spoke like we had been friends for a while! She is personable. And she was so gracious, she immediately asked if I wanted to put the dress on again. And Perry was so excited to see I came back to put the dress on again! And then that was it! I said yes to the perfect dress! Last minute, I needed a dress for an event so I googled what was around, found Samila's, and dropped in to see what they had to offer. On the phone, the lady told me that they had about five thousand dresses, and I was pretty skeptical about that until I actually went, and yeah, they have a TON of dresses. The ladies there are so helpful and they really know their stuff! They asked me tons of questions about what styles and colors I preferred, plus they suggested other styles that I would never have thought to try. They also zip you up into the dresses and that part takes a little getting used to, but they handle it really professionally, and at the end of the day, it's really nice to have that extra set of hands zipping up the back of your dress. Honest to god, I haven't gotten service like that since I bought my wedding dress. Yeah, it's pretty obviously a small business, and it felt a little overwhelmed when I first walked in just because they keep their dresses in these clear plastic bags. But the dresses are actually really nice quality and that's why they protect them in the bags. Still, it's harder to see what's in them, and almost impossible to tell what silhouette they are. But hey, that's what the customer service is for. Also, some of the older reviews talk about a pushy older woman, but she wasn't there when I went (all younger ladies), and I got the impression that she's not there anymore. I had a wonderful experience at Samila Bridal, and I would hope so because I said yes to the dress!!!!!! I worked with Yasmin who was a breath of fresh air! I had been shopping several times and was starting to get overwhelmed with dress shopping. But she was really good about putting my vision into realty and seeing the same things I was seeing. There were a couple things that I would caution a head of time. While Yasmin was a wonderful help and a blessing, I felt like my family got shut down. By hardly any means at all. She was very into my vision, because after all it is my dress, but I did feel like she could have listened to my family a little more as well, and not shut them down. Like I said, it wasn't really even an issue. The other thing was that the shop doesn't look like a wedding dress shop at first. The front is full of prom dresses. Which is fair, because prom and bridesmaids dresses are very important. The shop is also very small. Because of the size, their selection is limited. I would say that they had twofold, or even three fold the number of prom/bridesmaids dresses than wedding dresses. The one thing I was impressed with is that it is a small shop, and Yasmin works directly with the designers to get the highest quality and unique selections. So the decision you have to make is whether or not you prefer quality or quantity. read more

Don't even bother going anywhere else. Samila was simply AMAZING! My sister got married a couple of years ago and had the hardest time finding her dress. So when it came time to find mine, I was terrified I was going to have to go to 10 different stores before I found mine. Thankfully, Samila was only the second one I had to go to. Well if I'm being honest...it was the third if you count David's Bridal...but there's no comparison - not even the same league! I am large busted and also just turned forty so I knew it would be challenging to find a dress that made me feel like it was age appropriate, but still made me feel beautiful. All my fears instantly faded away after being at Samila for 5 minutes. Every bride is treated with VIP treatment. You basically have the whole place to yourself, which not only ensures one-on-one care, but really allows you to enjoy the moment of finding the perfect gown. Before coming to Samila I felt like no one was listening to me. Afterall, as I said before, I am 40 and have been dressing myself for almost as long - I know what looks good on my body. I went with my daughter to find a dress for her prom. While I was somewhat hesitant to try Samila after reading some of the other reviews I decided to give the store a try. My daughter is a very petite and had not been successful in even finding something close to fitting on her previous shopping excursions. At Samila there was a large variety of small sizes, all well organized. The staff was beyond helpful in assisting her while she tried on 12 - 15 dresses. A previous person mentioned the lack of privacy in the dressing rooms, however that was not what I observed. The curtain provides more than enough privacy while still allowing the staff to help zip up your dress or hand you a new gown. There was absolutely no pressure from the salesperson to purchase a gown. All store policies were fully explained. Don't let other reviews sway you. Give it a try. The selection is larger than you will find at most stores. And while some employees are more direct than others, they are all hardworking, friendly and really assist you in finding the perfect dress. This wasn't my first time visiting Samila's. I had worked with them years back for prom/high school dance dresses, those were always great. So this time around, my mom really wanted me to see Samila's wedding shop. This wasn't yet around when I was in high school. The selection was amazing, SO many dresses, and some of the most gorgeous dresses I saw were still within my price range (which is a very average range). Samila's was my second wedding gown appointment. I had visited Nordstrom's Bridal Suite the day before and all of the dresses were much too expensive for the quality compared to what I saw at Samila's. Similar quality but not the high end designer name. In conclusion, I said yes to the dress at this appointment! I found exactly what I was looking for. The ladies were extremely helpful and picked out perfect dresses for me after going over my vision. They did a great job and I'm SO happy with my dress. Can't wait to get it =] My only reservation about a 5 star review here was that it felt a little rushed at the end when another appointment was started while mine was still in process. I could not have been happier after my experience at Samila's for my wedding dress!! I had been to several other shops in the Seattle area, but nothing had anything unique for a reasonable price. Yasmin was able to put me in dresses I had never seen before and make me feel like the most important person in the store! She actually went above and beyond even before the appointment began - my mother was visiting from out of town and Yasmin was able to fit us in last minute at the end of the day. She even let us stay late after the store closed as I was still trying on dresses. Both Yasmin and Amy were incredibly thoughtful as I tried on each wedding gown. Amy helped me in and out of everything like a pro! She was so sweet! I went back to the store to make my final decision, and Yasmin let me try on everything again AND ended up finding something for my mom to wear AND found the most amazing bridesmaid dresses! By the time we were done, it felt like we had gained a new family member. I hope every bride is able to have this experience when they search for their wedding dress. I had ordered my original dress online. Big mistake, huge! I received my "online" dress just 8 weeks before my wedding and it was so unwearable I do not even want to donate it. I emailed Samila on their closed day and they got back to me right away and provided the link to schedule an appointment. They got me in the next Saturday and had dresses waiting based on the preferences I had filled out in my "interview" form before the appointment. The very first dress I put on was the dress I choose. Also to note, I hate shopping, let alone wearing dresses. This experience was amazing! I felt so comfortable with Taylor helping me and Yasmin was great making sure I will get my dress in time. I am also running into an even tighter timeline with unexpected medical issues and they are making sure that I will have the fittings done within that schedule as well. Such a great experience! I worked with Yasmin and Pari to find my wedding dress. This was my second time trying on dresses and I wasn't entirely sure what style I was looking for. They were great at showing me different silhouettes until I found something I loved. I was originally looking for a long sleeve, lace dress but ended up going with a strapless mermaid style. I was running low on time so they were making sure all the dresses I loved were available to order in time for my wedding. They also showed me a few off the rack dresses, and I actually ended up buying one that was on sale which was a huge plus for me! They have a large selection of belts to pair with the dress as well as other wedding accessories! I would definitely recommend this salon for wedding dresses and they also have a large selection for prom dresses (which I have purchased in the past). read more

I had a great experience at Samila Bridal! I'd walked by their store before and recently noticed that they had the most beautiful ballgown in the window so I just knew I had to try it on! It was easy to make an appointment within a few days of when I wanted to come in. This was my first time trying on dresses, so Yasmin was great about explaining how long before my wedding date I should plan on finding the dress. She was also great at explaining all the different silhouette styles and letting me try on one of each so I could see what looked best on me. I wanted to be absolutely sure that the dress I loved was the right one, and Yasmin was so accommodating when I asked to try on the same dress multiple times. I ended up buying the dress in the window that I had initially fallen in love with and would recommend this store to any other bride looking for a dress! read more

We love Samila, and especially Yasmin! When I saw some of the reviews on here, I had to review also. We got our dress there a while ago, and it was the prettiest dress my daughter tried on, and we had shipped prom dresses from Peaches and Promgirl, only to have to return with restock fees. We were so happy with the dress she chose!! it had to be taken in a little, and their alterations people are perfection! Our family owned a sewing business for 30 years and altering is not always perfect, but theirs sure was! We also had them add some fabric to go around her neck to make the dress into a halter style, as my daughter didn't want strapless. Everything was lovely and the dress was very high class. They have many styles of dresses at Samila, look and you will likely find one perfect for you! All the dresses are grouped by size so it's easy to look! read more

I was driving by running errands and saw the beautiful dresses in the window and decided to stop by. I had been shopping around for 6 months online for a dress to wear for my daughter's wedding. I was pretty discouraged. When I entered, Samila greeted me right away. I told her my daughter was getting married soon and she suggested several gowns to me. She encouraged me to try on dresses I normally wouldn't have tried on and the dress I ended up falling in love with was the one that she pulled out of the rack for me. The dress was such a hit at the wedding and my daughter loved it. I felt like it was a dress that portrayed my personality and made me feel elegant and beautiful. I absolutely loved everyone that works at this salon. They went out of their way to help me find the perfect dress. I couldn't have asked for more kind women to share the experience with. From the moment you walk in the door to the time you leave these women go above and beyond to make this experience magical. They were so warm and make you feel so beautiful. Their dresses are absolutely stunning! I had been to a few dress shops and was starting to feel that I wouldn't find my perfect dress. I live in downtown Redmond and always admire the dresses Samila has displayed in their windows. After getting engaged on Christmas Eve, I decided to start my dress hunt there. The shop is surprisingly large inside and has beautiful formal and bridal gowns. Deidre was my bridal consultant and she was fantastic! She started by getting an understanding of me, my venue and taking a look at dress photos I had brought. By the end of my appointment, I had several options I really liked. Luckily, I was able to book an appointment to come back the next day and, within 30 minutes, said yes to the dress! I'd highly recommend Samila Bridal to anyone. I had such an amazing experience at Samila! The setting is intimate, but the selection will make you think you're at a huge store. Shea was fabulous- she made the experience fun and helped me find the perfect dress! She went above and beyond to help me add little touches to take my dress to the next level and make it EXACTLY what I was looking for. I went to another store before this one, and I can say Samila put the other place to shame. I was fortunate to find my wedding dress at Christinbridal, and they accommodated all of my needs to make sure my dress is perfect and will arrive on time for my wedding in may 2024. They also made arrangements to set me up with their seamstress who was able to confirm that all alterations I was seeking were possible and they would work together to ensure my dress met my expectations. I specifically want to point out the consultant, Christinna, who helped me find my dress. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and exceeded my expectations with every gown she brought out after I told her only a few details of what I was looking for. I highly recommend this store to go wedding dress shopping, the customer experience was one for the books!

0 Stars! I paid $1,185.95 plus a $200 tip for a prom dress for my daughter's senior prom, and the…read morezipper failed on the big night! When I contacted the shop, they showed zero sympathy for how important the evening was and offered no apology or compensation whatsoever. They insisted that if the zipper was going to fail, it would have done so in the store -- "never" outside of it. Their solution was to fix the zipper the following day, which was completely unacceptable since the dress was needed that night. To make matters worse, they wanted me to drive over an hour to University Village at 3:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon with my daughter stuck in the broken dress so they could "inspect" the zipper. My daughter was part of a group of 11 seniors headed to professional pictures, dinner, and the prom--time was extremely limited. This lack of understanding and flexibility made a very stressful situation even worse. When I expressed my desire for a refund, I was told it was outside their 30-day window and no refund or exchange would be offered. When we purchased the dress, we were told we had to buy it immediately to have it in time for the dance--essentially protecting them from any responsibility, no matter the circumstances. Adding insult to injury, when my daughter tried contacting the woman for help to get out of the dress, her calls went unanswered and were never returned. We were also wrongly accused of zipping the dress incorrectly and misaligning the zipper teeth. Anyone who has dealt with formal dresses knows it takes more than one person to zip these dresses. None of the teeth were damaged, and the zipper was not misaligned -- my daughter was fully zipped into the dress before it failed. They clearly don't care about your special evening; the money is the only thing that matters. I cannot recommend this shop for formal dresses. There are shops that care far deeper than your pockets. This is not one of them!!!!

She also claimed this policy was clearly outlined in multiple emails and signage. That is simply false. I reviewed all of my confirmation and reminder emails--there is no mention of a guest limit anywhere. The way she treated my family was honestly shocking. She upset my godmother to the point of tears and was so rude and dismissive to my mom that she felt uncomfortable enough to leave the store. That alone made the experience heartbreaking. To make matters worse, the professionalism was not there. Bea was dressed in a way that felt unprofessional and completely inappropriate for a bridal boutique, with her midriff fully exposed, which added to the overall uncomfortable vibe. This should have been a special, once-in-a-lifetime kind of experience, and instead it was stressful, awkward, and upsetting. I would strongly discourage other brides from booking here.

Before the appointment, I spoke with two different people to make sure everything was set, yet when we arrived, our bridal consultant was completely unprepared, disorganized, and honestly, a mess. She seemed far more focused on pushing a sale than actually helping my sister find a dress she loved. From the start, she barely listened to my sister's preferences and kept picking dresses that didn't match her vision. Instead of making her feel special, she made her feel pressured and dismissed. My sister--who should have been having one of the most exciting moments of her life--ended up leaving in tears because she felt unheard and rushed into a decision she wasn't comfortable with. What made it even worse was looking around the boutique and seeing two other brides having wonderful experiences with their consultants. They were smiling, laughing, and clearly being listened to, while my sister was treated like an afterthought. It was confusing and frustrating to watch because it proved that the boutique is capable of delivering the kind of service we expected--but unfortunately, not with the consultant we were given. And let's talk about professionalism--because there was none. Our consultant showed up looking completely disheveled, with dog hair all over her clothes which made it impossible to take her seriously. First impressions matter, and if she had carried herself with even a little more effort and professionalism, this experience might have gone in a completely different direction. At the end of the day, we left without a dress--not because my sister didn't find one she could have loved, but because the consultant made the experience so uncomfortable and impersonal that she didn't even want to say "yes" to anything. I truly hope management takes a hard look at who they have representing their boutique because no bride should be made to feel like this on such an important day.
