Booked a consultation for the groom and bridal party, showed up right on time... and were immediately told to come back in two hours. For a wedding appointment. Let that sink in. Apparently "appointment" here just means "maybe we'll see you if we feel like it," because we were then told it's mostly walk-in only and directed to the arrowhead location.. Planning a wedding is stressful enough so having a business completely disregard a scheduled time is next level frustrating. If you can't honor appointments, don't offer them. Simple as that. In the past year, we've purchased three men's suits, five shirts, a vest, belt, shoes, and two ties plus had a few rentals. The entire staff is good, but Alejandro stands out for his abilities to calm nerves, put together amazing ensembles, and generally, work magic. When my SIL needed a suit for a relative's wedding, another individual made him so ill-at-ease that we left the store. At Men's Warehouse, Alejandro walked him through the process and helped him find a suit that he loved. He felt so comfortable with Alejandro that he then had him put together a suit for his own wedding with alternate accessories for a different look. Absolutely disappointed and upset at this location. We came in November to get measurements for my husband and groomsmen, was guaranteed the suits to be set in MARCH. The boys came and tried everything on 4 days before the wedding and 2 out of the 8 fit. Absolute dumpster fire. Nothing fit. The workers were incredibly rude and not helpful. We had to beg them to give us the pants that would fit because they insisted us to order pants that would come the morning of the wedding. A joke. Don't come here. Do not rent from this location. They will charge you $200 to rent and then $20 per day in late fees if you return the rental more than 1 day after your event. My sister was getting married and they had an account with all the suit information. When I originally ordered it they did not tell me this was a rental so I thought I was purchasing the suit for my 13 year old son. They didn't mention anything about there being a late fee for returning it more than 1 day after the event. They sent a return reminder text 2 days after the return date. The person that took the rental return was a smug piece of shit that was speaking down to me while returning the suit saying "it's the policy. what can you not afford it" when I asked if there was anything that they could do about the late fee. I came to this location before and bought a suit and several button down shirts belts and shoes. I will never come to this location again. Probably will not ever use any men's warehouse again with how smug and condescending that pice of crap clerk was. read more

I just moved to the area and was happy to see a Men's Wearhouse close! On Monday, 27 January 2020 I stopped in to get some things for a new work assignment. Shopping isn't really my thing - so I was excited to meet Melanie Graf, the Store Manager AND friend of a friend! After meeting Melanie, I explained that I needed three suits, some shoes and other men's furnishings before March. Some of the suits required special tailoring which was no problem - Melanie got it all done quickly. The diversity of suits, variations in pricing and the precision with which Melanie helped me, are all reasons to shop at this location exclusively. It is +SO NICE+ to have a men's fashion consultant! They also offer a large selection of different styles for any occasion, along with, anything you would need for any occasion. They have colognes, cuff links, tie tacks, collar stays, shoe polish supplies, garment bags, anything you can think of; it couldn't be more convenient! My dad wanted a tan suit and they ordered him a black suit. Would not recommend buying your suits from here, especially for a wedding. My dads suit will now not be done until my wedding. We loved this location! We previously went to the Paradise Valley location and had a HORRIBLE experience, so we decided to give this location a shot. We came in on Sunday when they opened at 12, and we're greeted immediately by who I would assume was the manager. She helped my husband pick out dress shirts and ties for an interview. Due to covid weight gain, he needed new measurements taken, so she helped with that. She took the time to question him about the type of interview and his preferences. Then she even pulled different mixtures of shirts and ties for him to see next to each other. The shirts were buy 2 get 1 free, and the ties were buy 1 get 1 free. That was a major plus for us! We walked out with 3 shirts and 2 ties for $150. We will definitely be returning! read more

I went to men's wear house in a bit of a jam... I needed a sport coat for an event the next day. Unfortunately I had "outgrown" my wardrobe. I was greeted immediately when I walked through the door and stated my need. I have limited fashion sense/style so i was at the mercy of whoever was going to help me. I was in luck and within 45 minutes I was out the door with a new outfit (two actually). This included altering two pairs of pants. I received several compliments about my new attire. My wedding is coming up, so where better to go check out suits/tuxes? Man, was I wrong. I was only there maybe five minutes and felt like I was not wanted. I walk in the door and I'm asked how many groomsmen and they give me a price instantly like I couldn't afford to be there or something. Before i even saw one tux or suit. No big deal though, so they tell me the girl in the back will help me even though they already started. Ok, I get it the girl in the back does the rentals. She points at 6 suits on the wall and says those are my choices and asks me if she should measure me. I thought, um yes you will need my measurements for a suit or tux. She measures my chest only and tells me if I dont want something not on the wall I need to go back and talk to the other people. Then acts upset while she says if I want to try anything on from the wall she has to take it off the mannequin. What!? Im here to rent a suit or tux. Why do I need to see another person. I checked a mirror to see if there was something wrong with me - or maybe I was invisible; but no, I was all there and looked appropriate. A female and a male associate walked right past me - totally ignored - just amazing! My business would be bankrupt if I or my employees operated in this light. This is the Happy Valley location. Had a pretty good experience here, all things considered. Needed to get some new dudes for an upcoming business event, and this place did not disappoint. I was helped by a few folks, but everyone was generally friendly and knew their stuff. Being able to one-stop shop for an entire outfit was actually kind of a nice experience. This includes tailoring and prepping the suits and pants, another headache you can avoid by having it all done on-site, and their prices were very reasonable. I will say that while they have good 'sale' prices on suits here, which is their main draw, the shirts, ties, shoes and so forth, can be a bit steep in comparison. You can easily spend as much on the shirt and tie as you spend on the jacket, which seemed kind of strange to me. Maybe I'm just ignorant of the whole men's fashion scene, and if so, I can accept that! Bottom line, I picked up a nice suit, several shirts and ties here and everyone was super helpful in finding me just what I needed for the occasion. If you're not adept at matching colors or figuring out what goes with what, pretty much everyone here was helpful in that regard and their suggestions were all on point. It's a nice shop, located in a nice area and with helpful folks and I'm sure I'll be back when the next opportunity presents itself (and when the wallet recovers). Highly recommended! read more

Came in and rented a tuxedo with my fiancé, the man helping us was not helpful and didn't seem to know what he was doing. When trying to figure out the fit, he suggested my fiancé try on a child size coat to have it fit better in the neck! I doubt my 6 ft 1 fiancé who is an adult would fit properly in a child's coat. His suit jackets for work aren't even the smallest men's size. Ridiculous. They didn't show us a sample of the black tie, and wouldn't let him try on the tux he wanted to rent. He said they only will measure for fit, but not style. When we tried to figure out the options for groomsmen I made it clear that we needed assistance in determining what combinations look good, but we didn't get any helpful input. We made an order but are considering cancelling because I don't know that I can trust them to deliver a proper tux rental for the wedding. read more

My shopping experience ruined my Sunday. I payed $400 for a suit. Was in a hurry didn't try on after tailor. They assured me they make sure I'm happy if I need to change it etc. So I came back to the Happy Valley location. I explained that I was not happy with the fit and asked if he had a solution. He quickly said "nope, not after you tailored it. No refunds". Okay, I said, maybe we can at least fix the ugly tight stitching on legs, and bring it in a bit more. He said okay, but was clearly annoyed. After putting jacket on I asked about a smaller fit. Hi insisted that I had the right coat and wouldn't let me try another on. From the minute I walked in, this guy had it out for me. Huge attitude. Then I hear him from across the store say, "this guys really picky, can you go take some measurements". I then changed and let him know I was taking my biz elsewhere. I was prepared to shop for my dads bday and buy another suit. Nope. I calmly explained that first you should lower your voice when talking about a customer in a negative light. Second, I'm not picky, I'm the customer that just wants to feel good in a suit. I won't be returning to Mens Warehouse. There is just too much competition out there to go and get treated like that. Really ruined my Sunday out. Thanks dude. read more

I was helped by Brian H, who was beyond helpful. I went in thinking I knew my sizes, but he took the time to remeasure which is great because what I thought was totally wrong. Brian helped me find the suits I wanted in my price range, and even convinced me try some new shirts I usually would not consider. Overall I got a few suits, shirts and ties and ended up saving over 1400$ over the normal costs. I will be back, and hope to deal with Brian again. Tip: take the time to try things on and let your consultant measure you. I can't believe how much more comfortable and better looking the suits are after a custom fitting. read more

We went with Men's Wearhouse for the groomsmen for our wedding as it seemed most convenient. When we placed the order I specifically mentioned absolutely no bow ties because I don't like them. Apparently the woman taking the order wasn't paying attention because, guess what? She ordered bow ties. My fiancé got word of this and called to correct it a couple of weeks back. Today, my ring bearer is advised he'll be wearing a bow tie. Keep in mind, all of the men are in different locations so I need to ensure everyone has the correct order in time for my wedding which is Saturday. I call this location crying because I'm so stressed and get transferred to Adrian (Adrienne?) who doesn't even introduce herself or apologize, just immediately picks up the phone and starts telling me it's been corrected. When I tell her that's not the case because my brother-in-law is at a Los Angeles location being told it's a bow tie, she proceeded to have the most disrespectful tone with me as if I was not understanding what she was saying. Keep in mind she's the supposed manager of the ordering. Will 100% never ever do business with Men's Wearhouse for any future events. read more

I went in with my daughter to pick up something for my husband that was forgotten when we were in there the day before. Brian was the sales rep who 'helped' me, except he was extremely rude and even had the audacity to 'shh' me after he had asked me a question. I wasn't even acknowledged walking in until standing at the counter for a couple minutes. After shhing me he walked off before I even had my things together and even a customer saw and helped open the door for me, shaking his head at the rep. Because of this sales rep alone we will not be giving our business to this location. My husband called because he was so upset that I was treated so poorly and the manager knew instantly know it was. This is obviously a recurring problem and losing business over one employees bad behavior says a lot. read more
