There were old yellow (oxidation?) stains on my daughter's 30 year old christening gown. It was a Thursday and my granddaughter's Baptism was on Saturday! I didn't think I'd find a cleaners that could get the stains out in the short amount of time, so I Googled all the different home remedies. I knew that it was going to be hit or miss (more of a miss) that I could actually get the stains out myself AND without destroying the gown. My gut was that I was going to fail big-time so I didn't attempt it. With no time to waste or experiment, I called at least 5 cleaners looking for one who could take out the stains, and Louie's was the only one that actually understood the problem and sounded *confident* that they could get the job done (although they couldn't guarantee it of course). I brought the gown in at noon that day and within 24 hours the gown was clean and white and not even a shadow or hue of the stains. It was *impeccable* like NEW! To boot, they only charged $7.75! (To think the time and money and grief had I tried this on my own at home, but by the Grace of God I did not!) Louie's is truly professional, experienced and trustworthy. Highly, highly recommend. I haven't had to dry clean anything in awhile and was a little apprehensive about where to take my stained wedding dress. All the positive reviews and the fact that this was a green dry cleaner had me convinced to check it out. It was $100 to have the dress cleaned (they also offer preservation services that I believe are an additional $100). I was seriously so blown away by the customer service here. In the short time it took to drop off my dress the woman (I'm guessing owner) behind the counter had learned so much about me including my dad's recent medical scare. The dress was ready just a few days later (way faster than I had been quoted) and she remembered about my dad and asked how he was doing. I wish I lived in the area because I would definitely come here more often. So friendly and fair prices. I especially love supporting an environmentally better option! read more

This place might be a good cleaner but DO NOT take your clothes there if you need a repair. I'm new in the area, I read this place had good reviews so I went there. I needed a zipper replacement which cost 18$, for the price I was expecting a good work.... But I'm so dissatisfied I feel they have ruined my jeans ;( I know that when you repair a zipper the construction will never be the same but look at this work. I took my older daughters prom dress here because my younger daughter wanted to wear it. It had never been cleaned after the first wearing, just hung up. When we took it out 5 years later, we found a water type stain on the taffeta and unknown sticky food type messes on the hem. I took it to Ultra cleaners based on their yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. Although they apologized that they couldn't get all of the stain out, as far as I could see, they had. Needed next day dry cleaning. Came to pick up my sons dress pants and they were missing. Was told by the counter customer service agent that the manager would be back to look for them and possibly clean them if they weren't completed. I paid for the entire order, gave her my number for the manager to contact me but that never happened. I went to their establishment the next day frantic and the manager had the pants up front. I explained it was for my sons graduation. He said it was on the house but I paid for them already. Oh well. read more

I really like this place a lot. I worked the front counter at a quality dry cleaner's my entire high school career. I know dry cleaning, and I know when people do a crappy job. If anywhere tells you they can do 1-day dry cleaning.... don't buy it. You'll get bad results. This location is not a chain, and they do everything in-house. This is the way it should be done. It seems to be a family place, and they are always really friendly. They also accept competitor's coupons. When I first started searching for dry cleaners around my area, my clothes came back with white spots, not pressed, and linty.. etc. Absolutely not worth the money. This place is worth the 15 minute drive from my house. It really seems like they take their time. They've sewn buttons back on for me, and took special care for stains. They also press my pants with creases the way I like them! I have never had any problem with this dry cleaners. read more

Thanks to YELP and Ultra Cleaners for saving the day. New dress never worn and guess what? I when trying it on for the 2nd time, I got makeup on the front. To make matters even worse, I tried to get the spot out using water. Big Mistake!!!! The dress is chiffon and makeup is oily so water only left a watermark. Now 2 stains. But I did some research on YELP for the best cleaners around and found Ultra Cleaners. Louie and Ultra Cleaners did not disappoint! Louie got both spots out and didn't charge an arm or a leg. Dropped off a $60 sheepskin pillow to be dry cleaned. Had a conversation with the owner about how the instructions say it can be machine washed but I'd prefer to keep it dry cleaned. He said don't ever wash it I told him I did not intend to. I came back and the girl at the front said he could 'hit it again". I was like yeah sure. I called and she already is giving me bad news about the pillow case. She said they machine washed it. Internally I'm slightly frustrated but I'm thinking it's allowed to be so I'm sure it's fine. Well when I get there and inspect the pillow case it's got dye runs through the backside of the case. The hair is discolored and ruined and smells strong of traditional detergent which I'm not even sure is wool friendly. Now I would be only slightly upset if the pillow wasn't essentially completely ruined and I said I just wanted it dry cleaned. I gave them all the wash instructions it came with but asked for it be dry cleaned. She took it upon herself to say I'd like it washed rather than call me or take any other step before throwing it in a machine wash I could accomplish at my house for much less than $12 and ruin my $60 pillow myself read more
