I called on 4/1 to schedule a consultation. I was told the scheduler, Mindy, was out of the office and would call me back on Monday 4/6. I received no message from the clinic. Today I called and Mindy stated she did call me back. If an unrecognized number comes in and no message was left, how am I to know she called? I have been a patient of Dr. Vanek for almost 20 years now ranging from a major surgical procedure to basic skin care, and I have never been treated with anything but respect and kindness and patience every step of the way. I have recommended him to countless friends and family members, and they have all had positive experiences as well. There is always the chance with any procedure that something may not go as expected. I know people are more apt to leave negative reviews, but I just wish more people would post their positive experiences so his practice can be reflective of that. read more

DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!! I paid Dr. Vanek over $7,000 for the result in the top picture. I have absolutely no health issues, never smoked, I'm in my early 20's. I had many issues with this office throughout my experience including feeling rushed several times including when I paid my deposit for the surgery which was the most money I've ever dropped at once and was nervous to begin with but being rushed made me feel even worse, this also happened when I had a question before I was even finished with the conversation the person had already turned and walked away, and several degrading comments that were made to me that I will give an example of later. I was offered absolutely no compensation for this botched job. Not to mention I referred 2 women for breast augmentation to Dr. Vanek who went ahead with the procedure. Also not to mention I gave Dr. Vanek free advertisement by doing a photoshoot for his two websites that he had asked me to do. My implants "bottomed out" in a very short amount of time after my procedure (about 2-3 months), had horrible rippling, and the scars that were supposed to be hidden in the fold were inches above it totally visible and exposed. Also, my nipples were so abnormally high that i couldn't wear any bra or bikini without them showing. When raising the concern to Dr. Vanek and his team they implied to me that it was somehow my fault that this happened. One of the ladies at his office said to me "don't worry about it you're still beautiful" after I expressed my concern for the way my chest looked. I found this comment very degrading and wrong to say to someone who got plastic surgery to look better but ended up looking worse. I couldn't wear any bikinis, crop tops, or bras without my breasts unevenly falling out of the bottom. When expressing this concern I was told to "get a different bikini." I'm so sorry but after paying thousands of dollars for breast implants I'm pretty sure I should be able to wear something as simple as a triangle bikini top. On top of being told that to get my desired result I would have to go bigger, which makes absolutely no sense at all, I was also told that if I don't get it fixed it will become a serious issue and drop even lower creating potentially permanent damage but I had to pay over $8,000 to do so. They told me that I was given a "generous discount" on this price which was a blatant lie. I got a second opinion from a very highly recommended plastic surgeon who specializes in breast augmentation who gave me the same price estimate AND ended up giving me an actual discount because he felt so bad for me. This doctor, as well as his entire office, was baffled that the original doctor wasn't adamant to fix this and that this was unheard of. The doctor that fixed this undesired result told me if I was his patient there is no way he would have let me walk around like this and he would have absolutely fixed it. Mind you this doctor fixed my breasts using the same implants from the original surgery. I clearly should have done my research and although I am so happy I finally got the result that I thought I paid for the first time, I'm extremely angry and disappointed that I spent so much money I saved up to get a horrible result and having to pay twice. It is 2019 and I am still under treatment from others to try to reduce the problems he caused for me. Without my knowledge or consent, he raised my hyoid, which has caused a non-stop choking feeling ever since then. I had other plastic surgery by a good doctor who attempted to alleviate the pain, but without success. I have tried everything from chiropractic to hypnosis without any success. I got a breast reduction in July of 2020 and I will never regret it. I had a breast augmentation done with Dr. Vanek and am currently one week post-op. I have to say this was such as awesome experience from start to finish. First of all I could absolutely NOT be happier with the results. My breasts are absolutely perfect - perfect size, perfect shape, and I was very worried as I am somewhat of a perfectionist. It was very important to me that they looked natural. The results are literally picture perfect and far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Vanek and his staff are extremely personable, warm and friendly. From the very first encounter I felt their compassion and caring. At a time in my life when I was overwhelmed, each person I spoke with on the phone or met in the office put me at ease and made sure I knew that I would be well cared for. This is a horrible Doctor. I called and went in for a free face evaluation using some machine they had. Everything was sell you this & sell you that. I mentioned things I had a quote for through another company and they assured me they would be a way better job. I stated very clearly that I wanted the hollows of my cheeks filled in. They were running a special for buy one get one free on Restylane however neglected to say that it was a limit of one. He filled the tops of my cheeks & didn't even do the hollows. When I complained, he injected a cheap substitute and said well if I didn't have all this sun damage...what sun damage??? His own machine say I was 95% sun damage free. Everything people say about his attitude is true. It's all for the money & he has no skills. My MD did a better job & her botox lasted longer than his cheap knock-off products. Buyer Beware!!!! I recently had a tummy tuck done, and Dr. Paul Vanek was overly considerate, careful and very aware of my concerns and needs. I had no question on what I wanted done. I honestly knew nothing about him going into the office for consultation. But compared to other doctor consultations, he was the best at making me feel comfortable. The procedure went well. In fact, during surgery prep he found a lump in my breast that my gyn didn't find 2 weeks earlier at my annual apt. He followed up with me after the surgery to make sure I got it looked at in case it was cancer. Thankfully it wasn't. So he went above the call of duty to make me feel comfortable and care for my overall health beyond the tummy tuck. I am very pleased with the service he and his staff gave me. The massages in the package after the surgery were also a great perk and added bonus! He seems to genuinely care for me, my body, and my overall health.
