A studio that just shows how far the entire OTF brand has fallen. The studio has great SA's and…read morecoaches but they care more about the money and company than their members and their fitness. Examples: -Last year I asked to move my class from one open class to another because my sister went into labor and they said they couldn't waive the $12 late cancel fee (due to company policy) -This morning I was :15 seconds over the time where you can be late to class and I was not let in (due to company policy) -That same sister who went into labor didn't feel like the workout was safe to do through her her pregnancy (due to drs orders) and tried to cancel and was charged for two months she couldn't use. She understood and asked if she could have her husband or father use those 2 months since again, her fitness level wasn't enough high enough to safely do HIIT while pregnant - they said no (due to company policy). They still call her every week to get her to rejoin. If you're looking for a great workout - it's hard to not to love OTF, but seriously weigh other options and read the Reddit before joining.

I haven't been to an orangetheory gym I didn't like, but this gym has lived up to my expectations…read more I just moved to the area during COVID so I do miss the coaches and members at my home studio, especially since it's a little hard to be social in the studios now but this studio does have the new tablets on the rowers which tracks your rower stats to your app (my favorite part) which is awesome if you like to track your progress as much as I do! The coaches are pretty great and they are doing a great job with cleanliness and social distancing during the pandemic.

Been coming here for quite some time now. Positives…read more1. GREAT VALUE for your money. 2. Large variety of classes 3. Kids club 4. Pool/hot tub/sauna 5. Bathrooms are generally clean 6. The past year the front staff has been really good, they greet and tell you bye 7. Group fitness speakers work and equipment is in great shape! Negatives 1. At night, please get the lights in the parking lot fixed!!!! 2. When it is at the peak moments it is very hard to find parking spots 3. Treadmills seem to be down a lot 6. People have a hard time reracking their weights and they may be out in the back yard or in the other area with leg press.

So I've been to 3 EOS locations that include Riverview, Sarasota, and Tampa, Riverview I would say…read moreis pretty solid in that the amount of equipment and amenities are exceptional especially given the low $30 a month fee although you do have to pay $10 for towels which I don't think Is a dealbreaker. I mean someone has to get paid to do the laundry I guess. They have a t bar row machine that I love but my favorite is the one for lateral raises for shoulders which you wont find in Crunch or might be hard pressed to find those anywhere else for that matter. It's nice being in a gym that basically has anything you can think of and more. I also love the deep tissue massage chairs. I can sit in those all day. The temperature in the gym is always perfect too. This gym though is not without its cons. Had a couple personal trainers there and I can't say they were that knowledgeable or helpful. Also when i signed up for a trainer i was asked how much I can afford and that became the agreed upon plan. I probably couldve said less and saved more for all I know. it's like going into a dealership and not really knowing what their true bottom line is. But they do let you suspend it for 1 month and $25 for each additional month if down the line you can't afford it but you will probably get billed 1 more time before the suspension begins. You also can just call the gym to do it. You don't need to provide anything in writing or go through their customer service line which I think is outsourced. Also for some reason the soap dispensers in the showers aren't always full and one of the dispensers looks like a dog ate it. You'll see what I mean lol. At peak times the gym can be fairly crowded especially in the afternoon on weekends. I also think the front desk crew can afford to loosen up and be more engaging. But overall though this a lovely gym with some room for improvement.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with my experience so far. The gym hasn't been overly busy, parking is…read moreeasy, and people generally mind their business, which makes it a comfortable place to work out. It's also fairly clean, and I like the newer lift area and that Pilates classes are being added. My main concern is that I joined less than a month ago partly because the membership allowed access to multiple locations, but the newer Bloomingdale location closed shortly after I signed up. It would be great if some of the newer equipment from that gym could be moved here. I'd especially like to see upgrades to the cardio machines. Many of them are extremely rusty, and some of the treadmills don't run very smoothly. The locker room could also use a bit of a refresh. Other than that, I don't have major complaints and I'm happy with the gym overall. I'd just love to see some equipment updates to match the newer location that recently closed.

If I could give it like 3.75 stars I would. It's the best gym in the area IMO, though I am used to…read moreCrunch gyms so honestly the bar is low. I like that they have more amenities and I use the pool often. I feel that the pool should have a better cleaning system but it seems alright. Sometimes stuff is floating in the water but it is a public pool... and there are not many to choose from around here. I am suspicious that I got ringworm on my elbows while doing crunches but that's not really the gym's fault, it's just that some people are disgusting and don't wipe the machines. Plus it might have been bug bites because I garden a lot. Maybe enforce the machine wiping more somehow. I like that it's not too crowded but I do wish it had like monkey bars and maybe an outdoor fitness area. The new Pilates studio looks very nice and the newer lifting area is awesome. If you go here just wipe the machines down BEFORE AND AFTER you use them... not every member has a sense of personal hygiene or a care for shared property.
