Hands down the worst gym in the area…read more Overpriced for what they offer. Let me start with the bad. The blonde haired manager, Elyse is the worst excuse for a manager I have experienced. How she got that position is a mystery. Not only is she rude to patrons, but she makes the experience extremely uncomfortable and difficult because she is just plain nasty. The worst part is that there have many reviews exposing Elyse the manager for her nasty behavior and incompetence dating back years. But nothing was done about it. They allowed her nasty and incompetent behavior to fester. Elyse will ignore patrons who come to the front desk until they call to get her attention. Even when she finally acknowledges you, she will give you abrasive and aloof treatment. I can even re-call one time that I purchased a temporary membership which required only showing my driver's license. She challenged me on it and didnt allow me in the gym even though I paid for the temporary membership. Only after another staff vouched for me did she let me in. Not once did she apologize for her mistake or abrasive behavior. This is not the first time she has behaved inappropriately. Avoid this place.

The coaches are pretty great and they are doing a great job with cleanliness and social distancing during the pandemic.

Examples: -Last year I asked to move my class from one open class to another because my sister went into labor and they said they couldn't waive the $12 late cancel fee (due to company policy) -This morning I was :15 seconds over the time where you can be late to class and I was not let in (due to company policy) -That same sister who went into labor didn't feel like the workout was safe to do through her her pregnancy (due to drs orders) and tried to cancel and was charged for two months she couldn't use. She understood and asked if she could have her husband or father use those 2 months since again, her fitness level wasn't enough high enough to safely do HIIT while pregnant - they said no (due to company policy). They still call her every week to get her to rejoin. If you're looking for a great workout - it's hard to not to love OTF, but seriously weigh other options and read the Reddit before joining.

They have lots of equipment, a cycle and open studio area, and locker facilities which include a sauna. Staff is very friendly. The equipment is in mostly good condition. Good thing they it is pretty big since they have a ton of members. Keep in mind, It is very very busy in there, almost too busy! But I'm usually able to get a good workout in. Most of the crowd is very young. They do offer lots of classes which I haven't tried but you need to pay for the most expensive membership to access those. I will say the biggest area for improvement this just general cleanliness in the gym, especially in the locker room. The locker room areas are about 10 degree warmer than the rest of the gym and always have a foul smell. Specially the sauna, it's hard to tell how frequently the locker rooms get cleaned because it is never pleasant in there. Overall if you are looking for a cheap gym in Valrico area this might be the place!

Some of my close friends live in Brandon, so I convinced them to come with me as this locations offers a one day free trial for local residents, and this location appeared to have great reviews. We visited the gym on a Sunday morning, and both me and my friends were received with such hostility that I apologized for bringing them to that location afterwards. The gentleman at the main desk made comments such as : "Are you actually here for memberships or is this just another tire kicker for you?" And "I don't want to deal with this GymPass crap, just do the daily pass, it's faster". Once he saw my out of state ID, he stated "Oh, you're from Utah? You definitely won't be doing a membership then". Sir, of course I'm from out of State, my employer provides me with Gympass, if you're not familiar how the program works or if you're unhappy with it, you're more than welcome to cancel your enrollment. And if that's the reception you're providing for anyone enrolling under your 1-day pass, maybe it simply shouldn't exist. I'll point this out though, the facility itself is great, with clean machines and plenty of equipment.

There isn't a system of when the letter arrives or does not arrive. No one from management responds to emails. Phone calls are not monitored either. If you choose to start your membership here, be aware of this. It left a very bad taste in my mouth so I would never return. Other than that, it is a typical gym.... Has what you "need", will have the usual over zealous amounts of people like any other place, trainers on site and decent monthly pricing with annual fee. Two of the three restrooms don't even have a soap dispenser... another restroom doesn't have a toilet seat...Nobody wipes down the equipment and it shows. Only reason i joined this gym is because it's 24 hours and close to my house. I'll give it one more month to see if anything changes, very doubtful.
