    #1 Ramen

Wow. I've eaten much ramen in this area, but I believe this is THE BEST I've had. The broth was rich, salty, flavorful, and perfectly hot (both in its spice and temp). The hot sake was also delicious, though I recommend sharing it with a comrade, as I was totally ripped off like 3/4ths of the serving. RIP to my liver. Our waiter was super kind and had a really slick Casio watch. He brought water at the perfect time. Lovely spot to eat. I'll be back!

Walked in right at opening at 5pm and was seated right away. Service was good and the waitress was knowledgeable about the menu. Appetizer was quick and hot. The portions were good- the ramen didn't require an extra side of noodles, but they were good to have to make the dish go a bit further. Chicken katsu had good flavor and presentation was good. The cutlet was rather fatty though and not exactly a great texture. Overall would definitely go back and try other menu items. Certainly a bright spot for downtown Springdale and NWA in general!

I haven't posted in a while and Menya Kitakara brought me back to Yelp - this was a phenomenal place and the ramen was off the charts. The Tonkotsu and Sapporo Miso broths were rich, full of flavor. I was caught off guard and spoke with the owner/chef - Tonkotsu broth was cooked at least 16 hours!! If you are a ramen head or want authentic Japanese food, this is the spot. We also learned that this was the same owner as Ramen Nara, this is their take on Hokkaido style on the usual ramens (Ramen Nara had been our favorite spot until now - it's a tie). The chef/owner is passionately dedicated to the art of making ramen and has so much knowledge about the ingredients. He sources his ingredients from Japan, makes his broth and tare from scratch, and produces consistent while exceptional flavors. We are so lucky to have such these two amazing ramen shops here in the Midwest. I'd put these places up against shops in Japan and in CA. Definitely our cup of tea. Sorry for the pic - was too busy eating but needed something for the post.

#4 Tonkotsu (Shoyu) Ramen Absolutely rich and delicious broth!

I went back for the second time and tried the Tonkotsu (Shoyu) Ramen. Wow! The broth is rich, and I added a small spoon of chili oil. So dang good! I wish I lived closer, so I could eat here often.

Great service from start to finish on a cold and wet Friday night. The spicy chicken app was just enough heat and dip was delicious. The broth and meat was the star for my ramen bowl. Hubby had one of the weekend rice bowl specials. He loved it. I tried Soju. The Korean malt rice alcohol beverage went well with the dinner. The vibe was mellow and laid back.

Such a cool interior. The music in the background was nice too! The food was exceptionally delicious. It arrived quickly and the flavor profiles were just amazing. The chef clearly pays attention to detail, and he is so kind. We got a chance to meet him after. We are going to be back again and again. The prices are quite reasonable. Additionally, I love that they have a gluten free menu! And are very good about accommodating those with celiac disease. Even more reason to love this place. Thanks for the great experience and great food!

We went here for a little ramen fix before my brother-in-laws wedding this weekend. Honestly one of the best ramen places I've ever had. So much flavor in every dish. The gyoza, ika geso karaage, and croquettes were so good. The architecture inside is cool too. The wooden panels make it feel open but also provide plenty of privacy. The service was top notch too. Very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent experience overall. I had the chicken taco plate, it was so good. We started off with…read moreGuac dip and it is perfectly done, chips thin and crispy with perfect seasonings. My friend had a plate of nachos. Healthy servings. For dessert we shared the Sopapilla, enough for two and that ice cream to die for. Highly recommend

Went here for a team building work lunch. This was my first time dining here and I really liked…read morethe decor and overall ambiance, but it was really busy and fairly loud inside. There were 8 people in our group and they ended up seating us outside which wasn't a problem as it was warm and sunny. Once seated our server took our drink order quickly and followed up shortly with taking an order for appetizers. Which also came out fairly quickly. Our server then took our entree orders. He returned three or four times to replenish/refill drinks for the females in our group but ignored me and the other male in our group, until we asked for a refill. Our entree's took about 20 - 25 minutes to come out and there were several minutes between the first and last to make it to the table. In the business district of the town where most of their lunchtime weekday customers are workers on lunch break they need to be getting the food out the kitchen quicker. As for the food presentation was nice. Everyone's dishes looked really fresh and appetizing. Two of our team had the shrimp taco's and they was so much moisture in them they ended up eating them with a knife and fork. Another two on our team had the Quesabirria. They said it tasted good but had more cheese than Burria. As for my own dish, I had the poblanos with steak, which is three enchiladas covered in a poblano sauce with a side of rice. The portion was a reasonable size but the steak was chewy and while it wasn't bad the poblano sauce just didn't impress me. It was just plain in flavor, with not much poblano flavor. Like I mentioned earlier we were seated outside. I was about two thirds the way through my meal and found a small black hair in the sauce. Where we were sat was pretty breezy so I cannot say if the hair came with my meal or if it was blown onto my food, but it was not the best end to what I would call a lackluster meal.
