Pleasant place to stop for some ice cream. Plenty of parking and seating. Lots of flavors to choose from. Cash only, but there's an ATM on site.

Try the Strawberry short cake. Soft serve, with strawberries and heaven!

Best ice cream around! The ice cream is rich and the soft serve is so flavorful. I had the strawberry shortcake sundae which uses soft serve and it was amazing. Worth a try if you love strawberry shortcake flavoring. As you dive closer to the bottom--you hit the cake goodness. Cheers!

I don't live too close to Meola's but when I'm in the area, this is the place to go. They have a really fun assortment of ice cream flavors. This past time I got the Boston Blackout. It consisted of chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips and really, really soft brownie. SO GOOD. They have a separate building about 15 feet away from where you order your ice cream that looks like a garage but actually has benches and a few swinging benches. It's a nice place to eat your ice cream to get out of the sun on scorching hot days.

We will not be returning to Meola's or recommending them to any of our personal or professional friends. Our son is on the autism spectrum and completely nonverbal. He has hypersensitivity to certain foods. We had frequented as a family for ice cream and our son would get a brownie, since he will not tolerate ice cream. On tonight's trip, the cashier asked his manager who declined to ring in a brownie on its own. I feel accommodations should be made when there is a child who wants to be included. We go out for ice cream because we have a daughter who loves ice cream, but our son is also a part of this family, and should not be excluded due to the limitations of his disability. There was a time when customer service meant something. When I worked in the retail and service industry throughout high school and college, there was never a time that we let a customer leave unhappy over an issue that cost the company less than $10. The end result is losing a customer and referrals.

When I lived in Sterling, I'd always stop here for ice cream! Recently I went again, and just realized how much I missed this family owned home made ice cream shop. Ice cream is fresh, super creamy! They have a large variety of flavors, from anything from simple vanilla to rocky road. They also made special sundae ice creams. It was unfortunate that the time my cousins and I went there, they ran out of the blue dinosaur ice cream sundae we wanted to try! They also have a super cute outdoor seating area with a swing Cons: A little on the pricey side and they only take cash but have an atm right outside! Summary: Family run ice cream place worth trying in the metrowest area

Best peach ice cream I've ever had. Lovely seating area, lots of parking, friendly and helpful staff, closes late enough to go after dinner (even during Corona times).

The owner basically telling us to shut up and be quiet so he could enjoy his dinner.

One of their food trucks was at the Framingham Farmers Market this past Thursday. There was a wide variety of food available that evening, but for some reason, the Trolley Dogs food truck called out to me. As their signs say, they serve giant, handmade dogs. They're so big they have to use a mini sub roll, instead of a hotdog bun. You can order your dog as you like, or select from their menu of pre-planned dogs. I forget what it was called, but I ordered from the menu. My dog was topped with onion, relish, and hot mustard. It was super hot and humid on this day and I felt bad for the food truck workers. It must've been like an oven in there. The dog was so awesome I made my way back to the food truck afterwards to tell them so. If you enjoy an occasional hotdog like me, and you happen to see one of the Trolley Dogs food trucks somewhere, you should check it out! I promise, you'll be glad you did. P. S. I did not have one myself, but one of my companions had one of their craft lemonades. He raved about that Trolley Dogs offering as well.

Busy joint, tight seating, and energetic servers who keep attentive. -- Patty Melt: So much to like about this, from the marble rye (though I think pumpernickel) to the full size patty (better than the double smashed you get elsewhere) to the onions to the gooey melted cheese to the extreme juiciness and pleasing flavor. I didn't detect any Russian dressing, but this sandwich wasn't lacking for moistness or flavor oomph. A near-elite rendition and one of the best I've had in a while. Excellent. -- Fries: Included with the patty melt and a plentiful supply. The bad news: they're the dreaded industrial "coated" kind. The good news: they were piping hot and cooked perfectly, crisp outside, fluffy inside. The great news: you can substitute home fries. My server offered a sample of the home fries. -- Home Fries: I found them to be right in my wheelhouse for doneness, crispness, seasoning, onions, and overall texture and flavor. Superb. Between the good looking plates that passed by and my enjoyment of my own food on my first visit, there's sure to be a second. Looking forward to returning with my wife for breakfast and more of those home fries.
