Came back for the food and it didn't disappoint. The inside is so cute and really takes you back in time. Staff were so nice and the food was great. This place has amazing food AND ice cream.

We came here for dinner recently mostly because of the positive reviews and because I have fond memories of stopping here as a kid to get ice cream. We decided to share a seafood platter and get a side of scallops. The food was very good, fresh and not heavily battered. The owner came over to make sure everything was good. Another positive thing is it's BYOB!! For us it had nothing to do with getting cheaper drinks, but everything to do with bringing what we want to drink. Not many places have my husbands favorite brewery beers or my favorite brewery seltzers. Definitely worth checking out!

This was my first visit to Pinecroft recently. Solid place to get some fresh fried seafood and ice cream. For ice cream, they have tons of flavors. I had the haddock wrap and it as a bit underwhelming. It was fine--but wish it had more flavor to it. The fries and onion rings were done right. What I really liked about the restaurant is the dine in style that gave the old school diner feel. Towards the back of the dining room, they got a bunch of coloring books with crayons and color pencils for the kiddos. Service was great. It's a great place to visit and enjoy the night was some dinner and ice cream.

Unbelievable ice cream! I came here on a Friday night around 7pm. The ice cream stand was not busy so we did not have to wait to order. They have a decent amount of flavors to choose from. I ordered a small chocolate chip cookie dough and it was SO good! The vanilla was very creamy, and it was packed with delicious cookie dough. The portions are fair. A little pricy but all ice cream stands are pricy these days. There is plenty of parking and places to sit and eat. We sat at a picnic table near our car and enjoyed the live music in the background, which made for a nice ambiance! Would definitely come back again.

    Monkey's uncle

I got a monkey's uncle that ice cream was delicious. The service was awesome. They're so nice. The surroundings was peaceful. You could either eat inside or outside. It was just a great experience for me. I would definitely go again and I definitely recommend it.

    Lobster Roll & Fisherman's platter!

A hidden gem in Central Massachusetts for delicious seafood! Having a place near the coast, I have quite high standards for seafood, and was skeptical that my local ice cream restaurant had delicious seafood. But let me tell you, boy was I wrong! Pinecroft has one of my favorite lobster rolls for a very reasonable price of $30. Another favorite item on the menu is the fisherman's platter which could easily feed two people. I'd also recommend trying their onion rings. This place is also great for families. Sometimes, the service is a little slow, but the food makes up for it. I would give it 4.5 if half stars were allowed.

Awesome place. Fresh seafood. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff and owner. You have to love a place where the owner pitches in to bus tables. My boyfriend and I shared the Fishermans platter.

Thank god it's cheat day. I just ate so much food, and it was so good I want to go throw it up just so I can relive the heavenly pleasure that was eating it again. This food is worthy of being served at my funeral. The chicken fingers are going to appear tonight in my dreams. I'm going to salivate so much that my pillow needs to be washed the following morning. The chicken tenders are just soooo good. The meat on the inside is so perfectly tender so it falls apart and just melts in your mouth, and the fried exterior is a like a fried clam in the way that it's perfectly flaky. We ordered a fisherman's platter, and a large chicken tenders to split between the two of us. Fries, barbecue, teriyaki, and blue cheese as our side and sauce. The food was undeniably incredible. The service was very kind, attentive and caring. I appreciated their level of care for our table. The ambience was straight out of Port Judith Rhode Island. Let's keep it real, I was born and raised in Rhode Island and I appreciate some pretty good seafood, and I don't know how this place ended up all the way out here, but I appreciate its existence. The type and quality of food found here just tells Rhode Island, and the interior design feels light, open, and airy just like being on a beach. Even the bathrooms were scented with beachy aroma and ocean views. I will be back someday to double check and make sure that I loved the food. Just to be sure

Went on a Friday evening. Outside a band was playing on a grassy area, while we waited for a table. The service was awesome. The food was great. Had the fisherman's platter, took 1/2 home because it was so big. Wife had the lobster roll, very big and tasty. Grandson had the hotdog, fries and chocolate milk. Food was delicious! Definitely going back.

The fried scallop basket was outstanding! I highly recommend visiting this place.

It's the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed but still excited for the meal ahead. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. As for the food, I ordered the quarter pound lobster roll, and it was absolutely outstanding. The lobster was fresh, tender, and generously portioned, with flavors that were rich yet beautifully balanced. Every bite was satisfying. Overall, this restaurant delivers on all fronts: atmosphere, service, and quality. I'd happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal!

Honestly very heavy and was glad I split the one size they had with a friend. It would have been too much. There was a little layer of oil on top too. The Faux Fiz mocktail I got was good. However, a lot of "spices". I ended up requesting more ginger beer and lime to cut it. That helped. But overall good quality drink. The Atlantic salmon crudo was very interesting. Nothing close to what I expected. It was gross. Really thick salmon over globs of a black garlic aioli. The ratio was so off. It was so pasty. I am shocked they haven't reviewed that item on their menu. Usually crudos are so nice and light. This was not. The wild Spanish octopus was the better of the three dishes. Just needed some more salt. Or more of the chorizo would have sufficed. I was surprised that this place was nothing like it used to be. Will not be back :(

Use the website to pre order and do so early. When they get slammed, they shut down the online…read moreservices and you'd have to call. And then the phone is very busy as well. When are they busy you ask? Any Friday during Lent is bonkers. One lady complained she was waiting over an hour after she ordered. Another customer explained it's Lent that's why it's busy. She was perplexed at how that should impact her as she does not observe Lent. Witness ordered at 3pm and asked for it to be ready at 5:30. Being late and arriving at 5:42 some thermal loss was to be anticipated. The food was in fact ready and very hot. Impressive. Witness was in and out in under 5 minutes. Flying solo, only one item was ordered, fried shrimp plate. There were plenty of fries and shrimp. So much so that the to go box had to be taped shut. Both the fries and the shrimp had a similar taste that was imparted by the oil. Not a bad taste, just unexpected and distracting. The shrimp had another flavor in the batter that was unexpected, familiar, and unwelcome. As it turns out, the shrimp appear to have been coated in mustard aioli before being breaded. While this kept the shrimp super moist, the mustard flavor is very unexpected and Witness could not get past the wild juxtaposition. The provided cocktail sauce was over run with hot sauce. The star is meant to be the horse radish but this one is about Tabasco. The spicy factor switched all the way to the smack you in the face flavor and added a watery consistency and creating a thin condiment. Last having been here 6-7 years ago, this repeat business has been a long time coming. Unfortunately, Witness will need to move on to another shop this Lent.

I don't rightly know how to review a restaurant I didn't intend to eat at…read more It's not entirely my fault -- the signs outside say "Havana Nights". In five different places. The parking is for Havana Nights. Imagine our surprise when we were handed menus for "The Fokin Ninja" or Taino. That name isn't anywhere. I still don't know what this place is called. I asked our server if the awesome Cuban place moved, and got the weirdest response.. something like "Ahh.. Ohh.. yeah, let me get someone to help you." I probably should have packed up and studied the situation from somewhere else? There were changes in April and it's not Cuban any more. But we were seated with waters and Fokin Ninja menus, so maybe there's some crossover. I don't even know how to describe the menu; you can read it here. Some kind of Mexican-Asian fusion? Prices are steep, from the $18 cocktails to the $30-$40+ entrees. They did have a few specialty rolls for $10, so I tried a few. Look, maybe beef and chicken fusion rolls are your thing, but today I learned that they are not mine. Not at all. Dry beef, dry shredded chicken on top, and the weirdest mash of flavors and textures does not make a delightful roll. Sticky sweet brown sauce with bacon and cream cheese and some sliver of maybe roast beef? Nope nope nope. There just wasn't anything delicious about them.. just weird stuff wrapped in rice and called a fusion roll. The fried fish plate (Pescado Frito) for $32 was pretty good. Hot, fresh, good size, but just bland and unseasoned, as far as I could tell. Came with chimichuri sauce and fried plantains. Fried rice for $22. Loud and cold in there. This is also the first place in Worchester that puts the Tip right on the tab. Not a service charge, just "Tip" and they picked it for you. There is a line where you can write in an additional tip. It ain't right. I can't think of anything that would merit a second star. The kicker? The receipt says "Havana Nights"! I would have enjoyed eating there instead.

But my friend recommended and it did not disappoint. They were at about 35% capacity at the time. Service was good. Our server was really nice. We got a wide variety of items. I don't recall the sushi roll name though. We all got the CHOFAN which was literally the most delicious new thing I've had in a long time. Literal. Perfection. They got steak and shrimp. I got chicken. All three fire. The best way I can describe it is like the most perfect fried rice you've ever had. We also got some table apps veggie spring rolls and gyoza. Both really good but I did ask for this like Asian Thai chili sauce instead of the one that came with the spring rolls because it's like a mayonnaise based sauce and I just wasn't really feeling it. That really complimented the spring rolls better to me. My cocktail was MEDICINA DE AMOR I $22 Hennessy, grand marnier, strawberry and lime juice. To me it was way too sweet and the other one that comes in the IV bag the server said was even sweeter than that. I had to put water in it. But it was cute and I wanted it so. Probably wouldn't get again tho. Restaurant vibe and decor was very aesthetically pleasing. Overall zero complaints. And highly recommend. There is a small Parking lot on the left side and street parking. Also, I heard that they just reopened with a new name so the outside is gonna say Havana but it's called Taino and says it on the door. I was a little confused when I pulled up.
