Mercer Street meals offers to go full course meals, that are prepped and ready to eat as soon as you leave. Usually one course with two sides and a desert. They offer all of this for $25 and it feeds two people, they also have the option for 4. I've had yet to see the same meal, but all seem to be filling and affordable. Getting a meal from here is tough in general. They sell out fast, so you'll need to sign up for their newsletter to buy a meal a soon as it is available. Considering that they are the same price as a Blue Apron, but yet they make the meal, makes it a no brainer to use them. We had the Chicken Marbella, with creamed spinach, biscuit with garlic butter and Mocha Ice Cake. It was super convenient well packaged and affordable. Took me no more than 1 minute to pick up my order. The Chicken Marbella was okay, it was essentially rotisserie chicken. The best twas the desert, the mocha ice cake. The espresso taste was so good. We will likely try to buy one of their meals a week. read more

The salad was fresh and tasty. The chicken, eh. It was all dark meat. It was dry. It was in shapeless pieces of differing sized. It came with roasted potatoes. I couldn't discern any particular spices, just roasted potatoes. As a side dish we were treated to a bowl of garbanzo beans, straight out of the can! There were a few bits of red peppers and green parsley but the vegetable in this meal was literally a can of garbanzo beans. There was a dessert. I would have a hard time to describe it. Lumpy sweet white yogurt, i guess, with a generous portion of blueberries mixed in. If you can even find this place, on a dirt and gravel alley in SE Atlanta, good luck. I doubt if this business will be there very long. The person who prepared this meal for us probably has no formal training as a cook. There was really no imagination or love put into the meal for 4, which wasn't enough for 4. read more
