I had a scan done here because my hospital was booking out scans for some time in the future. It's in a small medical building in a commercial area of Frontenac. Plenty of parking. This office is decorated in keeping with the aesthetics of the zip code. Staff were kind and I was in and out in no time. Later I had to pay like $6 or something for the CD of the images. I don't have to do that when I use my preferred hospital. So that's a downside of Rayus. read more

First off, this is a "stand-alone" radiology center. Although operated by Saint Lukes Hospital, it is NOT a hospital radiology center. When they bill the insurance companies, they bill this as a HOSPITAL RADIOLOGY CENTER - NOT a stand-alone center. This made a huge difference in how much my insurance pays as well as my individual co-pay. This in my opinion is fraud. I am appealing my claim and well as notifing Medicare etc. read more

The back is excellent, the receptionist area is a walking HIPAA violation!! She ask for your full name and date of birth and reads what you're there for!! I don't need everyone knowing my business and I shouldn't know Steve's last name, dob and that he's getting a X-ray of his left foot!! So if you're looking to sue for a HIPAA violation, this is the place for you! read more

I had to have several x-rays and CT scans... Everybody from the receptionist all the way through the doctor was incredibly nice. The place is quiet and clean and it was a great experience. They pride themselves on taking care of you ! read more

Visited for a epidural steroid injection and everything went extremely well! The office and procedure room were clean and well-kept. The personnel were friendly, punctual, and professional...I couldn't ask for more. The doctor and technician hit the spot perfectly with the injection! After paying a babysitter to watch my children, I went for my imaging appointment. First, they said I was having a CT scan and I asked about the MRI I knew I was supposed to have. She apologized and said she "entered it wrong in the computer" and put in the MRI. Then, the radiologist was about to begin and I asked whether the MARS protocol the doctor ordered would take longer. She said she had to call the other location because she didn't remember what that protocol was and hadn't seen that it was supposed to be part of my test. Turns out, my doctor had ordered an MRI and a CT scan. Now I have to go to another location to complete the test. This place does NOT appear to have their act together. Their unprofessionalism has caused me a huge waste of time and money. Update: A technician manager resolved the issue by scheduling me for the CT at a time of my choice quite last minute. Unfortunately, I had to make another trip over for the disc, but they really tried to make it right. read more

The scheduling and checkin was ok but they do things a little different. They do not start the IV before the MRI like most other places. I also asked for the IV to be started in my upper arm because my veins are difficult to find in other places. The technician would not do the IV/contrast in this location (above my elbow) so, I'll have to go back again to hopefully have someone else who can get it done. read more

I had a cervical MRI at the Chesterfield location and was extremely impressed with the experience. The woman who checked me in (Ashley) was very courteous and even walked out to me in the waiting room to personally return my ID and insurance card. The MRI tech specialist (Art) was outstanding. Had never had an MRI where I had to go "in the tube" and he took the time to explain everything. During the procedure he was constantly checking in with me and was very reassuring. My report was available within a day. All said, I would give the team at CDI an A+. Also had X-rays at the Frontenac location and they were great, also. read more

I brought my dad to CDI on 3/11/20 to get spinal images taken as requested by his doctor. We were there for a few hours (from 8am to a little after 11am). The process was smooth and easy and the genuine, quality care that Amanda gave him was just incredible. She continuously checked on him, making sure that he was comfortable, finding ways to alleviate his pain. She was extremely thorough when explaining each step and what was to happen next. Her care and compassion is not something you come by often. I am thankful that people like Amanda are sprinkled around our communities to make for better days and experiences. read more

Had an appointment scheduled for 8 am this morning....ran into traffic do to a car accident, so we called to let them know. They were very nice and said not to worry about it, then when we got there we were sent away. My partner is disabled and cannot drive, so this had to be done today because this was my only day off. I understand we were late, but that was the point of calling, and if they knew we couldn't get in, I would've turned around and went home. I do not take it lightly when people waste my time, gas and money. CDI needs to get their act together, and find some nicer receptionists, the girl working this morning with dark rim glasses, Leah I believe, needs to learn how to be a little more compassionate to people with health problems. read more
