I am very angry at all the business around me are stealing from the customers and lie about it. You don't seem to know how to properly convert ounces into grams, you don't always round up. Not at Mercy, they round up to the nearest $10 on a card, you must pay. A very nice lady at the cashiers station was being watched very closely when I asked questions about the rounding up and taking the tip. I have one honest answer, would you like me to boycott outside your entry, I have already started with Costco down the street. My daughter and I are happy to go around and help people earn a "Living Wage in CA". The management changes have changed the in-store experience. Lines are long, waits at the register can be up to 15-20 minutes for just one or two items. And i cant express enough that customer don't want to hear about budtender's daddy issues. They can't seem to reply to customer emails, but re-instate old policies shortly after specific complaints are placed. I started coming here a couple years ago with my partner who has been coming here since they opened. We're both now searching for other dispensary options and he will be leaving a review of his own soon. This place gets two stars. Easily the best dispensary business in the Bay area. The knowledgeable staff caters to your every whim. They offer a wide variety of products that will satisfy any customer. They have two locations, one in Santa Rosa and the other in Cotati which also houses The Lounge. That is an experience in itself. A mellow place to go to relax and enjoy company with others while taking in different cannabis options. They have cannabis tastings once a month showcasing different growers. It's a great time and gives you a chance to sample different varieties in a relaxing atmosphere around likeminded people. It is astounding how inefficiently and slowly Mercy serves its customers. Seems like they do this so the store appears crowded and busy, but it's just a waste of customer time. Zero real product on floor means the budtenders can't inform you about pack dates, arguably the most important information when buying flower. Have never waited less than 15 minutes shopping in store. The time between your order being taken and you walking out of the store is also delayed by their silly tube delivery system which makes it so there is never product available on the floor. Used to be my favorite dispensary, but customer service issues have soured me from continuing to support this business. My partner has his medical card and has tried several times to have them add it to his account but there is no way to add it online and attempts to contact Mercy regarding this have gone ignored. He even made an order for delivery in early April and had the Moonflower delivery person take a photo of his physical recommendation and ID. They promised to add it to the system so that he could take advantage of the upcoming 4/20 specials. Upon trying to place the 4/20 order and discovering that his info still hadn't been entered, he once again emailed Mercy as well as Moonflower to follow up and neither of them has bothered to respond, AGAIN. Other dispensaries allow you to enter the medical recommendation info online with no hassle or, at least respond to requests sent through their "Contact Us" links (shout out to Farmhouse Artisan Delivery for their STELLAR customer service). My last few pickup orders have gone sideways. The pickup line is NOT clearly marked (it's basically just that you go to the front of the line - there is not a separate lane or clear signs) and if you go to it it looks like you're trying to skip ahead of people in the regular line which is exceedingly uncomfortable - as is getting scolded for getting in the regular line so I didn't upset anyone. I mean, it's MY time and MY feelings - if I'm willing to wait to avoid someone making nasty comments about skipping the line, why should the staff berate me? The last time I was in, staff proceeded to have an argument in front of me about the till and someone using someone else's till - all while I was waiting at the counter for them to grab my order. The person who walked in several minutes after me and went to the next register over was served and out the door before they even got back to taking my ID. Like, what? Delivery selection for Marin is SUPER LIMITED(NEVER used to be like this) & excludes about 50-80% of the menu. This place takes.. forever.. f..o...r...e.v..e..r.. literally writing this review while watching one cashier at 730 with a line of people and 4 employees walking around with their co workers talking. After waiting forever and it was my turn to come to the terminal, he states the line is over there, lol we've been in line for a minute and I was actually first in line. He then closes his register, and walks away laughing while customers sit waiting. Finally this guy comes over with an I-pad to take orders, I express my frustration with having to wait and he tells me to 'be patient' and that they were closing, I asked if they closed at 9pm and he stated yea, lol then why you closing down at 730, one register open with an hour and half left, and a full lobby? Absolutely love Mercy. Has been my go-to dispensary for years. Friendly staff and a decent selection. With that said literally the only thing that "erks" me is their reward system. You get 1 point for every $1 you spend. The rewards selection is always limited to the products that don't sell or no one wants. You might find a cart every couple of weeks for 1200 points (yes a $20 cart for the equivalent of spending $1200). I know I'm being nitpicky here. This was my go to spot, but I'm now on a quest to find another. I think it's gonna be Flame in SR since they seem to have more competent staff after one visit. These people don't seem to grasp the concept of what an MMIC card is for and keep charging me tax. Just went in to question it and was told that I need a NUGG card ON TOP of the MMIC card to get a tax break. So a NUGG card is about $100 (I assume, based on my previous card that wasn't NUGG) and an MMIC card is about $100...why would I get the NUGG card? An MMIC card from the State trumps a NUGG card for tax exemption. A NUGG card is easy to get, an MMIC card is issued by the state through the county you live in and is for people that will benefit from not paying taxes because they need to use MMJ as medicine even more regularly (think chronic pain, cancer). I know laws can be convoluted, but you're running a cannabis business. Maybe it's time to learn the difference and the laws regarding the cards and train your incompetent staff. No other dispensary I've been to has requested I have both cards. The last one I went to borrowed my card and, what?...looked up my card number to verify it in the database. I'm guessing Mercy staff don't know this exists... Some medical patients are on fixed income (disability) and have those tax free cards for a reason. When you overcharge me $16 in taxes, that is a package of insomnia medicine for me or anyone else that is medically dependent on cannabis. Stop being insensitive to medical patients and catering to recreational users and people that paid $39 to get a medical card through telehealth (I'm not trying to invalidate anyone's condition, but I know people faked one before recreational was legal...and my previous card was one of these type cards). Mercy must realize people do go to brick and mortar physicians and can get real recommendations from their legitimate doctors, right? Physicians do see the benefit to using it even if they work for a place like Sutter or Kaiser. Btw...you owe me about $50 in overcharged taxes (for some reason the NUGG requirement isn't applicable when I order online for pickup). Rant over, I need a gummy. read more
