I don't think I have met a ruder or less interested staff in any card shop I have been in ever. I walked in and waited at the front counter while two staff played on their phones ignoring me. I finally got their attention and asked about a hobby box order I placed. "yeah sometimes Mike doesn't actually order them he's a busy guy". i asked if I could some how check or if they could place an order. "No, Mike does it" . so is there any way i could find information out about my order. "no he isn't here he is a really busy guy, we don't have your cards here." That was all I got. no help, no information, no solutions. Avoid this place like the plague, there are several other card shops in the area worth your time and money. read more

Great store. They are always super friendly when you come in and remain that way throughout with the attention, personality, and genuine interest in you as their customer. Prices are fair/market if not even better, so even on the high end of their asking prices, they are still super fair/reasonable, which is def something I look for when choosing a card store. Solid selection and they keep it updated and Changing all the time so it is new inventory every time I go in there. Nice owner and nice employees make for a wonderful environment I recommend this place to all, even my worst enemy, as it's that cool of a store, I don't even want my enemy to miss out :) Go check em out! read more

These guys are honestly greedy asf they act like theyre your friend when you walk in but in reality they just want your money and they price gauge everything in there. They also say that theyre having a 10-50% off moving sale but nothing is over 10% off. Anyways ive found other card shops that are at least fair in price. For a place that had a giant sign that said "baseball cards" I knew I had to check it out. Lacked out on vintage, but their singles were pretty nice. Got a 65' koufax and 57' doby for under $10. Slab prices are reasonable, just a comfortable little spot. Always stop by when passing by. read more

This shop is the best place to buy and play Magic the Gathering in the North Bay. Our playgroup got harassed at another shop for bringing our own water, so about 10 of us starting coming here every weekend to play commander. The owners are super cool. Highly recommend! read more

We love this store. It's always neat and tidy and it has an incredible collection of Pokémon cards for sale. Everything is laid out for easy visibility, even for the littlest customers (mine are 9 and 6). Alex and the whole team are always patient and engaged with my kids. This store has a nice group of young workers who are really helpful and friendly every time I need card supplies; they're generally nice to the kids I've seen in there asking about Magic cards or sports cards. However, their marked up prices on sealed products are criminal. Quite literally, each product in the shop is 10-30% higher than anywhere you'll find resale goods. Not RETAIL prices, mind you. RESALE prices. So they mark up products that are already marked up. Pair that with the fact that one of the older workers spent a few minutes bashing vaccinations (and those who receive them) and calling Covid fake the other day, (before stepping out for a cigarette LOL) so I don't really see a reason to visit again. Super friendly, very helpful regarding product knowledge. Alex also carries a lot of older sets in-house including standard. Pricing is SUPER fair compared to other shops. Your initial offer on my collection was insulting, and the second time I came in the offer was even lower. When I told you the ballpark I was looking for ($350-600) the person who "helped" me laughed and said no way, though it was only a couple hundred over your offer ($200) for my whole collection. Not only that but while in the midst of explaining to me that kids don't even know who Mark McGwire is, or various other stars from the 80s and 90s, not even 5 ft away from us there was a 12-13 year old kid asking if you had any McGwire rookie cards (of which you told him you had none, though I had many in my primary collection that I had brought in to sell you). I even had Evan Longoria, Ken Griffey Jr and various other autograph and game-used cards which are more than relevant and generally retain good value. While you may not get "book value" for many cards in the store, I am sure there is a bottom line at the lowest you would accept which I would guess is 60-75% of the high book value, and I have a hard time believing that you would accept less than 80% book value of a high PSA/BECKETT graded Ken Griffey Jr, Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire (etc) rookie card (again, of which I had a few). This would leave you an awesome margin even if you offered 40% of book value to the people who are selling you cards/memorabilia (an average of 50% profit margin assuming that you purchase a card for $20, that has a book value of $50, and sell it for $30). Unfortunately you attempted to low ball a person who was a manager at a very popular, highly profitable, multi-location golf retail chain that understands profit margin. I have not stepped foot in to your store since my last review, though I have put many hundreds of dollars, maybe even slightly over a thousand, back into my collection since that time. That is money that you will never see because you don't know how to treat people who may have been going through a tough time... And if you don't even consider that, then why should I consider that you are a retail store and have overhead costs? Your business is to make customers happy so they purchase from you, and you failed in my case. So yes, the one star rating is warranted read more

I'm not really a collector of sport's memorabilia, but my son is a huge fan of the hobby, so I guess indirectly I am too. This place is great. The expert staff are very helpful and welcoming. When I take my son, I almost feel like we're going to a friends house; it's that welcoming. I've come to know Mike the owner and I can say without reservation he's genuinely a nice guy, right along with his son, who works with him and his staff. His approach to running his business seems to be encouraging a love and enthusiasm for the hobby, and promoting an atmosphere where kids and adults alike feel welcome. This fantastic hobby shop is a sports collector's dream. The workers here treat me (and all of their visitors) more like a friend than a customer. The store is just the right size and is loaded with many of the cards I collected in my younger years. They're also stocked with the latest merchandise; a bunch of people were actually opening brand new packs when I was last there. Despite being surrounded by some of the sweetest baseball, football and basketball cards, at no time do I ever feel pressured to buy anything (even though I always seem to leave with something way cool). There are autographed balls, magazines, price guides, plenty of supplies, you name it. It's apparent that the staff is truly passionate about their sports (and of all the various gaming cards too). I often overhear some of the best conversations as well. The atmosphere in the shop is kind of like a combination of ESPN and eBay. There's talk about yesterday's ballgame, the latest trades, or if Willie Mays cards should be worth more than Mickey Mantle cards. Whenever I'm passing by that part of the 101 freeway, I feel compelled to swing on by. 'Baseball Cards and Memorabilia' has got to be my absolute favorite store. They even have a card swap night once a week. How cool is that? I guarantee you'll have a great experience, even if you don't spend a dime. read more

Good selection of sports and game cards. They have the most recent Beckett pricing guides which are hard to find in the area so if you have been buying those online and want to grab them the day they release, that is reason enough to go check these guys out. They have a nice selection of inserts, rookies and vintage cards as well as some filler cards if you are looking to build a set. All of the basic collector needs sleeves, boxes, top loaders, binders etc. Some Jerseys on the rack as well as more pricey collectible ones with COA's. Easy access to 101 and plenty of parking right up front. Lets spread the word and keep our hobby/addiction dollars local! read more

I hadn't bought Pokémon cards in 20 years and the first time I walked in this store it made me feel like I was 11 in 1999 again! They have a wonderful selection of every recent Pokémon TCG set! From booster packs to collectible box sets and Elite Trainer Boxes! Their prices are extremely fair across the board and the employees and the owner especially are super kind and helpful! They always remember me and my family and ask us genuine questions about the things we purchased last visit or what we are interested in. They are very knowledgeable on Pokémon but also Magic and sports memorabilia of all kinds! This store is so great and I can't keep myself away. Just a couple pieces of feedback. First, when somebody calls your shop and spends almost five minutes explaining what cards they have that they are interested in selling and your staff listens and then says yes go ahead and bring them in and we'll take a look at them..... pretty disappointing when within five seconds of putting the box on the table without even opening the collection you guys say oh those are really hard year for us to get rid of we're not interested thank you. Pretty big waste of time. Secondly, just to clarify the advice your staff gave which was incorrect. The Saint Vincent thrift store a couple doors down does not buy Cards. They will simply give you a tax write-off slip if you decide to donate. read more
