The host was wonderful and has a great knowledge of the surrounding area if you're looking for tips and areas to visit. The room itself was a small cottage that sits next to the house with it's own parking, private entrance, porch area, kitchenette, and bathroom. It was very cozy comfy and perfect for us! The BNB is also very centrally located to nice beaches, hiking, and walking distance to great dining. Furnishing were older but charming and everything you need is provided. Only downside I experienced was the shower water running a little cold halfway through the second shower. We did not have the breakfast so I cannot comment on that. Overall, great place to stay!

There was hair on one of the beds and in the cabinets. There are no pool towels available. There are stains on the curtains and in the bathtub. There are no blankets available or regular towels when asked for more. No body wash soup. I should not have to go to the store to get things a simple room should have. We did get discounted on our stay as it looks like they are already aware of the issues at this place. Overall, I will not be coming back. It's sketchy to sleep here as it is, and the bathtub doesn't drain. Never coming back. They said they will give us more sheets and instead we got 8 pillow covers and 2 shower curtains in place of 6 sheets. There is grass in the upstairs hallway. Could not stay here for another night so we left early. Staff are nice and gave a refund for the stay.

I see now why it's cheap but still doesn't give housekeepers a reason to do a half ass job on cleaning. Shame on you for calling a room clean when it clearly isn't! My question is where is your head housekeeper to check behind you making sure you are doing your job correctly??? Seems like you all need to be restrained on how to clean properly. Do you clean your homes that way? We will NEVER be returning there again! I will gladly pay extra to go somewhere clean!

It was crispy clean, beachy cute as hell with suprising touches of class in the decor. The owners Doug and Jim were charming and lovely. I plan on returning as soon as I can to stay as long as I can. Thank you gentlemen for the generous welcome and for not scrimping on those touches out of fear that they might get stolen. Just the bed and bedding alone would have been enough to make me stay. But they also have kitchens and living area. A mini home away from home. Not just a bed in a hotel with an ugly bedspread. All but 1 unit has a river view. Our family reunion there last weekend was fantastic.

Each day while we were away the room was freshened up. Coffee, instant ceral were provided in the room as well as cream for the coffee. Dishes and glassware were available to use. The room was well supplied with the things we needed. The steps and railings could use a bit of updating for safety and the stairs leading towards the beach area were in much need of repair, to the point that it was not a good idea to venture too far down that path as the lower steps dropped down further than the rest. The handrail at the very bottom was frail and really should not be allowed public access without being made much sturdier. When parking, it required you to back all the way out to the roadway. No viable place to turn around once you drove all the way in. Would we stay here again? Yes we would. I felt it was a good value for the price paid. You could literally hear and see the ocean right from the front room. It is a place that provides a lot of peace and quiet. Probably not the best for a young and noisy partying crowd. Certainly, we're talking about rentals on the Oregon-California coast, and therefore what I'm really speaking of is the fact that these are not the nicest of places. However, this is just such a great location, and the staff are amazing. Super friendly, very accommodating, and very eager to help make sure you have the best vacation possible. I know we're coming back. One thing, do yourself a favor and rent one of the units that's directly on the water. You will not regret it.

It felt quiet and almost completely to ourselves during our stay. The large deck with a partial ocean view was amazing. It was very relaxing, and it was fully enclosed. The hot tub was a great bonus after a long day exploring the coast. Self check-in was easy, parking right in front of the cabin made unloading simple, and communication from the resort was great. It was also a quick drive to Brookings, OR for restaurants, but there are delivery options as well. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable overall. The only part uncleaned was under the couch, which we only noticed because our dogs kept trying to get food left underneath it. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back on our next visit! We'll definitely recommend this resort to others!
