Upon the selling of our home we had only good things to say about Kharimah Campbell with Libertas…read morereal estate. That soon changed within a few weeks of selling the property. That being said, SELLERS BEWARE of the ball being dropped on critical aspects, such as an amended post possession lease following a late closing, which affected us as sellers negatively at move out. We as sellers signed and expected to close initially on a Friday and at no fault of our own the closing was delayed until the following Tuesday. Kharimah not only assured us the lease terms would be amended to 30 days from actual close, but was confident it wouldn't even be an issue. Kharimah never completed an amendment to edit the lease terms to reflect the new closing date due to her lack of follow through on the document. Following closing, we were operating under the assumption we had 30 days left in the home and she confirmed that with us on a few occasions. To avoid the buyers' threatened legal action to vacate the home due to the amendment not being completed, we had to rush to pack the last of our home up in 3 days when we had planned for an additional week. Kharimah took minimal action to resolve this issue and was unapologetic about what transpired. Kharimah got paid out for the selling of the home and after that she did not complete a key job task that was supposed to be followed through with, which we talked about before and after closing. When it was too late, Kharimah could only reiterate that she could not assist in helping us with the issue at hand because we were no longer her clients/contracted with her. To sum it all up, Kharimah got paid out from the sale and she left us high and dry after that to deal with the aftermath of her slip up. In the end, we as sellers were dealt the short end of the stick due to Karimah's negligence to continue doing her job as our real estate agent past the close of escrow. The sale of our home was quick and easy due to the sellers market, yet I would not recommend using Kharimah as an agent to sell your home because of the negative experience we had using her and the lack of sympathy she showed us.
