Their service manager Eddie is as good as they get. Their technicians take the time to show me what they did and show me nuances on my rig. I knew nothing about. Had trailer in for damage that was done at Cibe smart on orangrove rd . Cube smart could not tell me who was renting the space next to me . Do I have to pay a deductible. Next took it to blue compass on la cholera rd 3 weeks to get a testament and another 4 weeks to get parts . So zi took it to Merrigans lachollia. My trailer was broke in to took to days to find out a police e report was taken was told it did not appear that it was broke in to no forced entry. Merrigans is say they are not responsible because they have a sign saying that. So again I have to pay for some one else's being not held responsible. We found this business after a camping trip about three months ago when the dump station at our park was closed. We couldn't believe it was free!! I would like to give this place a good review as I have been using them for my Class C for about 4 years since I moved to Tucson - but can't do it. I had to have my dump piping replaced. They apparently "forgot" to secure the piping to the underbody and 1 week later when I used the rig the piping shifted under load and was hanging a couple of inches off the ground. Two trips back to Merrigan's, lots of Uber bills, and their repair was to cut the fender to make the piping fit in the shifted position and lubricate the valve operators which function with difficulty due to the positioning. It should have been reinstalled as it was designed to be, I realize now in hindsight. The woman up front are gracious and helpful, the men are chauvinistic and I don't use that term lightly. I am an experienced single woman RV'er and a highly technical person due to my profession as a licensed engineer. I felt I was treated as a bimbo, lots of impacience and rolled eyes at my questions and comments, the worst was from Lee who told me something to the effect of: I'll drive your vehicle around back because you'll probably hit something." Not sure how anyone can post anything but good reviews. They offer a free dump site and water! They have always been there to help me out for parts and repairs. I had a fresh water tank that need repair on a Saturday and took care of it the same day... actually within a few hours! Try that anywhere else! read more

Took them 2 weeks to have my vehicle set up to be a toad. Couldn't get the braking system to work. Left with my car in tow and it caught fire and totaled .my car. Can't be sure it was there fault glad I had insurance. read more

BEST RV REPAIRS EVER!! As a single woman, and new to RVing, I was scared to take my (new to me) RV in for a bunch of "little" things. This place was recommended to me by a friend as "Real good people". They are all that AND a bag of chips! Not only did Lee go over everything with me before purchase to show me ALL my options (right down to telling me how to do it myself to save money) but he was in close contact with me on where the repairs were and respectful of my budget. They have some techs that do excellent work but don't trust the service manager. Went elsewhere for the quote I wanted. They looked at the description of the job and gave me an hourly quote and the approximate number of hours. Merrigan's wouldn't do that. This was a second experience like that. Merrigan's really came through for us. We had just gotten our little trailer and we needed help getting the hitch hooked up to the correct height and the sway bar placed correctly. They were down staff and every bay was loaded, but they jumped on it quickly and had the customized work done within 24 hours. Don't waste your time with these clowns. I had to leave my rig on their lot for nearly two weeks to get generator work and an awning replaced. Two weeks. Told them I needed the work to be done by a certain date as we had a trip planned. No problem, they said. On the date I needed the coach back, I called the place. I got all kinds of excuses about technicians quitting and parts not coming in, etc. NOTHING had been done, no generator repair, no awning repair, NOTHING. Oh, did I say nothing had been done? No, that's not right. Sometime over the 2 weeks that my coach was sitting on their lot, some meth head breeched the fence and REMOVED THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER from my rig. Seriously? The service manager, Lee, really couldn't fucking care less. Just kept throwing his hands in the air, Gee that's too bad. We're not responsible, you know. Blah Blah Blah. So this is what I get for trying to patronize a local business instead of one of the big dealerships. Wasted time, a lost trip, dealing with insurance companies. Thanks for nothing. read more

Called them on a weekday from Wickenburg and told them we'd be in Tucson in a couple hours. The owner said "Come on in!". Wayne the technician diagnosed the faulty ignitor on our refrigerator in a few minutes, explaining what he was seeing as he worked. Meanwhile, the owner worked patiently with our extended warranty company and handled all the paperwork. We were out and happy in less than an hour. Professional, friendly service, no gouging or trying to sell us stuff we didn't need. Highly recommend! read more

I had a propane leak.. "OK, we will see you in 3 weeks." was their response.. -- wtf.?.. (supposedly) got it fixed, ( $620.00) so drove 55 miles away to a site.. Propane leak.. "Costs $100.00 service call or bring it back.." So I took it back.. They work on it again, drove back to the site.. Guess what.? Yup, a Propane leak.. This time his response was "We ain't gonna drive way out there into the desert to fix your leak,, bring it back.." He keeps saying "Customer satisfaction is important" Strictly Lip Service.. DO NOT GO HERE unless you Do NOT want to get your RV fixed.. read more

Good but BEWARE. My water pump had been giving me problems then stopped completely. A cursory examination indicated a wire had come loose and it was leaking. Planning on boondocking, I decided that the pump should be replaced (I suspected that it was the original ShurFlo pump in my 1998 RV as the model was no longer available). They got me right in and replaced the pump quickly for a very reasonable price. BUT the pump was not pumping water when I tested it. It only pumped air. The owner was very friendly and had the tech check it out, but after about 15-20 mins he said it must be a cracked pipe. I asked if the tech had forgotten to turn the water back on and was told no he'd checked the valves and they were as they should be. The owner offered, even though this was Good Friday and he was busy, to have a tech start searching for the problem at $99/hour and he had no idea how long it might take.. When I declined he tried to send me to a friend. I declined that also. I tend to be a little leary when a new problem arises after a repair is made. I called RV Medics in Casa Grande, who quickly found that the water had been turned off by the previous tech and not turned back on. It took him one minute to find and turn it on and he told No charge, just call him I need something fixed. Since I asked if that was a possibility and since it should have been the first thing he checked, I have to warn others to BEWARE of Merrigan's AZ Road-Runner RV Repair. read more

I came in needing to have a trailer hitch aligned for a trip to Tennessee and Lee made it happen at 3:30 in the afternoon. Wayne was my technician and he was knowledgeable, efficient and very helpful. As it turned out they needed to order a longer shaft to align with my vehicle and they had it in by 9am. When I returned they got me all set and we are on the road. These guys are great and charged a very reasonable amount. I will be back for all my repairs and service. Thanks !!! read more

I wanted to find a dump station close to where i was parked and found Merrrigans on Yelp. Oh...should have lead with...I wanted to find a free dump station....and I did. After my lovely "free dump" I went inside their store to get windshield fluid...mainly because I wanted to get something because I just dumped for free. They didn't have that but what they did have was great customer service, suggested where I could find some windshield washer fluid. When I told them about the great reviews on Yelp..they didn't even know about it. They had no idea how awesome they were. Old school. :) read more

If you want to be treated fairly and honestly, go to Merrigan's AZ Road Runner RV. We were in Tucson for a short vacation and had a big issue with our slide out room when we were preparing to leave, it would not come in and the more we tried the worse it got. After trying several companies we finally reached Lee at Merrigan's. At first he didn't have a tech available to come to the RV park but said he would send Wayne (who is probably the most knowledgeable tech we've ever spoken to regarding slides) as soon as he could and he did. Wayne came, diagnosed the problem and then began working to get the slide back in so that we could drive it to the shop for a permanent fix. From the day we dropped it off until yesterday when we picked it up Lee kept us informed as to the progress of the repairs, ordered the parts, handled the claim with our insurance company and answered all our questions. They had to wait for the factory parts, which is always slow but once the parts were in our RV was ready to go in a few days. We have had RV repairs done at may places but we have never been treated as well as we were here! Highly recommend this shop for your RV needs. read more

I've used Merrigans several times for work on both a 2012 RV and a vintage 1984 Dolphin. They aren't the best at always answering the phones or calling back but they are the best at fixing what's wrong at a fair price. Your patience will be rewarded with a quality repair at a fair price. It's an honest mom and pop shop that has an eclectic collection of parts for older RV's along with the know-how and experience to fix anything. Definitely the place in Tucson where you won't get ripped off for work on your RV. If you want it done right and still have money left in your travel fund, go to Merrigans.
