CONSUMERS BEWARE! The procedure and Doctor were exceptional! would be rated 5 stars. The billing department is the opposite! If you go here make sure you "Request an Estimate"(From Christine, Manager). Apparently, the amount they tell you is a guess unless you request is to be official! Never heard of this before in the years of going to dentists. Watch out for the "Balance Past Due" bill for the amount that was not covered. I received this Bill with a colorful past due sticker not even 30 days after the procedure! very disturbing after the amount of Money that is already paid, to receive a bill! When I called to make an appointment, the staff was very pleasant and patient. They were able to accommodate my very busy schedule. The billing department called me 2 days before my appointment and quoted me a price of approximately $200. She made it very clear, that payment was due at the time of my appointment. When I checked in, I offered my FSA card for payment. I was told the payment will be due at the end of my exam. X-ray were done, and 5 shots of novicane later, the woman in charge of billing came in and stared there was a mistake, and my payment of $2454.0 will be due at the end of my visit today. That's a little more than expected. Like $2200. More . I left, very upset. With a mouth full of novicane and no further procedures done. I font know of anyone who has an extra $2200 lying around. Even if I did have an FSA card. 2 stars I wouldn't recommend this place to even my worst enemy . read more

I never trusted my dentist when I lived in California. Still, there were limited offerings with my health plan. I ended up getting two root canals at his office. Ten years later, I am having issues with one of the teeth that he filled. There is a crack in the root, which led to an infection, which has led to bone loss. Bye bye tooth. The folks at MV Endodontics were straight forward with their diagnosis, answered all of my questions, and described what comes next. Nice office, too. If I'm going to have to go to a place like this, I want the experience to be bearable. Great work, MV Endodontics. Alas, off to an oral surgeon. read more

I was worried about having my 1st root canal, as I have heard horror stories about them through the years. From the receptionist at the front desk to Alexa calling me in and getting me settled, I was already feeling at ease. I can't say enough about Dr. Ly. She put a numbing agent on my gums, and that was it. She told me that i may feel some pressure as she put the first of a number of needles in my mouth. I DIDN'T FEEL A THING. I told my mother that if they told me that I had to have another one tomorrow, I would say, "Sure. What time?" I highly recommend Dr. Ly. She's phenomenal at what she does and she's a very kind and understanding doctor. read more

But after dealing with months of infection and pain from a 5-year-old root canal done by a rookie, I was beyond ready for a solution. I had to have an emergency root canal on the Friday of Memorial Day. Early that Friday my dentist's office called over to Merrimack Valley Endodontics and was able to get me a 2:30 appointment. Within 30 minutes I got a call that they could take me at 12:45, which was fantastic. It gave me time to run to the office, do some work and get there with plenty of time. The front office staff was really efficient and friendly. I saw Dr. Carter who was really understanding about dealing with a nervous patient. He was fantastic at calming my nerves and talking me through what he'd be doing. For em, knowing what the process is really helps. The whole process took about 45 minutes and really was painless. I didn't have to take any painkillers after the numbing meds wore off. Post op pain was my biggest fear and it was completely unfounded. I loved how they called to follow up on Saturday morning to see how I was doing. I would absolutely recommend Merrimack Valley Endodontics. read more

I had my first and subsequently second root canal with Dr. Ly. It turned out that my root had calcified and would require additional time to be treated and a second root canal. I came into the experience with a lot of anxiety surrounding this. Having had many extensive oral surgeries and reconstructive jaw surgery during my teens, I have developed a lot of anxiety surrounding oral procedures and my teeth in general. Additionally, I can't hold my jaw open very wide or for very long periods of time which can make extended dental work a little taxing on me. Occasionally my dentists have to get a little creative when positioning instruments. MVE was straightforward and professional from beginning to end. They were upfront about the cost and didn't tack on additional fees even when things didn't go to plan. The office was clean, modern, and had a lot of bright natural lighting. The staff were friendly and the treatment rooms were spotless. Dr. Ly was quiet in her demeanor which helped me cope a bit better with the procedures. She was delicate with her workmanship, soft in her approach, and accommodating of my fussy jaw. I didn't quite fully understand everything that was going on but maybe that was partly my fault in not asking questions. I was just really scared and trying hard to keep myself together. She was receptive to anything I did ask and she always told me what to expect. During the procedure, she made sure that I was completely numb and if I felt the slightest bit of anything, she gave me more Novocain. I was so very grateful for her quiet, patient demeanor and her finesse. Overall I felt I was in very capable skilled hands and sensed she would do the right thing by me and not my bank account. read more

I had a root canal performed by Dr.Gilad Dr. Gilad was extremely knowledgeable, competent and kind. He also took extra measures to ensure I did not experience any pain during the procedure. I had a root canal done at this office and had a good experience. They have a nice office with complimentary drinks and clean magazines. Office is somewhat difficult to find so check directions before going. Checkin was quick and easy and form was pre-filled with my details already - all I had to do was read and sign. Their treatment area is nicely laid out looking out the window and setup with XM music. The Nurse and Dr explained each thing patiently and were very friendly and helpful. The treatment itself was fairly painless - as much as it can be. Dr. went over the post-treatment X-rays and explained the follow-up nicely. Overall a good experience so far. read more

Previously I had two root canals and now I have had two here with a third coming. I can't say I enjoy root canals but since they are necessary I get them done. Clearly I have some teeth problems but Dr. Gilad was phenomenal. He explains things and really shows a level of caring. After having a root canal with him I realized how poorly my previous root canals went. I have had only minimal soreness after mostly from the novocaine injections. During the procedure they make sure you're comfortable and really take the time to make sure you feel absolutely nothing. If you're going to need a root canal go here and have it done right because it makes a world of difference. read more

Today I escorted my mother to her appointment with Dr. Ly. She's been dealing with tooth pain for 10 days now, her PCP took an X-ray, found nothing and sent her home. The MVE office had a warm welcoming atmosphere, the receptionists were very kind and helpful. The technician (who's name I do not recall) was great, she let me sit in on the appt and explained what she was doing when preforming her CBCT scan. The Dr was professional but did not seem to have any bed side manners. She did not reassure my mother in anyway that she can get help and/or relief of the pain today - again she has been in excruciating pain for 10 days. She did offer to make an incision to give her temporary relief if she couldn't get referred today to another place to pull her tooth out. The front desk offered an appt elsewhere on Thursday - I said she cannot wait that long so the receptionist managed to get us in somewhere tomorrow morning. The Dr never followed up with us to make sure she was seen today. So my mother left very painful and heart broken knowing she'd have to be in pain another 24 hours. I wish the Dr had been a little more reassuring in her diagnosis, personable and/or express some genuine care in her client. read more

Had a root canal done by Dr Golad. The pain persisted so he put me on an antibiotic. That was a waste of time and money, not to mention the root canal. They gave me a partial refund which I appreciate...but I'm still in pain 3 weeks later. Unfortunately I cannot recommend. read more

i had a root canal don by hudson endodontics: kharazi mehrbod dds several years ago. i had persisting pain and asked him about it which he dismissed. finally he wouldn't see me anymore. i had dr gillad look at it which he said had to be retreated. the root canal which was done improperly. he fixed it was willing to see me many times after when i was still concerned about tenderness in the tooth. he is as good as it gets. read more
