The aids…read moredon't come when you need help, at night I would hear patients crying for help. some were in pain, some needed to use the bathroom. I saw 2+ different aids sleeping in a chair the entire night as patients cried for help. one aid was a female and one was a male. someone stole my ring and other things from my bag while I was in PT, my relatives bought me an edible for Valentine's Day and it cost 100 dollars which I never received. someone stole it and we were never refunded the money. Your suppose to get a shower twice a week but the aids are lazy and don't come, and when you ask they have attitudes. The PT staff were ok but a few come to get you and don't even say hello and are on their cell phones the entire time. The nurses are overwhelmed and some were nice especially Noami was the best one there. The activity program is a joke, you sit in the all purpose room and do nothing. The aides are the worst my bed wasn't changed in 4 days, no one comes when you call them. No one cares there, stay away. It was the worst I've ever been. If I could give this place e a zero I would.

We transferred my dad to Florham Park and it was night and day. They were wonderful keeping him extra safe as he is a chemo patient and is immunocompromised. Special shoutout to Debbie Ann, Meisca, Geraldine, and Lucian. These staff members were so supportive, kind, and made the experience so amazing!

These 4/5 star reviews I'm seeing here and on google are laughable, and must be from staff and fake…read moreaccounts because this place is an absolute embarrassment to humanity.  The way patients are treated, the patient to staff ratio, the food quality, the lack of empathy from staff (PT and Drs. excluded), and the directors who seem to disappear when you need them and refuse to return call, all add up to a total nightmare for anyone who is unfortunate enough to be sent here for some reason or another.  If you are reading this, please visit this place before sending your loved ones here, they don't even attempt to hide how little they care.  It's plain to see this oddly decorated building is just a money maker for those who own it.  Don't let a social worker talk you into sending someone you love to this horrible place.

They have a very professional staff that takes care of all your wants and needs. They did a thorough evaluation, asking all the necessary questions, and informing me of what to expect in the coming weeks. I was very pleased, with the rehab and the caring/loving staff!

What should have been a safe and supportive environment for a two-week rehabilitation stay after hip surgery turned into a constant source of stress and concern for our family, ending with the subsequent decline in health of our loved one and her passing away. The facility has issues with being short-staffed. This created an atmosphere whereby staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive to the needs of the patients/residents they were responsible for providing quality care. My mother entered this facility with no issues related to incontinence and within a few days the facility was putting her in an adult diaper. Family members witnessed call lights going unanswered for extreme amounts of time. This could lead to an increased risk for patient/resident injuries due to falls as well as incontinence. My mother was transferred to this facility with medical notes from nurses and doctors at the hospital she had her surgery in. As the receiving facility, Holly Manor Center was privileged with the knowledge that my mother was being treated for Congestive Heart Failure as well as finishing up a course of antibiotics used to treat pneumonia. Part of Holly Manor Center's care plan reports included vigilant assessment of her CHF and for resurgence of infection(s) since this was still a critical post-operative period for a geriatric patient. I was assured by the social worker that this facility was able to provide those assessments and cares should the need arise. This, however, was not the case. Communication was another major issue. It was difficult to get updates about my mother's condition, and when I reached the nursing staff and asked questions, responses were dismissive or felt like there was an uncertainty in how to respond to questions. On a few occasions, receptionist could not even find nursing staff to receive my call, and would leave a message, but no nursing staff called back. Nursing staff were often aloof with responses and this left you with the overall impression that they did not care. My mother's health began to decline within a few days of being at this facility. Nursing staff would not take our concerns seriously, despite their own care plan including vigilant assessment of signs and symptoms related to possible infection(s). Less than a week after she was transferred to this facility for physical therapy/rehabilitation, she had declined so badly that we demanded she be transferred back to the hospital. With reluctance, they finally agreed. Once readmitted to the hospital, it was determined her pneumonia had become so severe that now she was septic. She was received back to the care of the hospital with a noted bed sore, and visible decline and health. Within a few days of this, my mother passed away. I would strongly urge others to carefully consider their options before placing a loved one in this facility. What was supposed to be a short-term stay of two weeks, showcased how problematic elderly care is in this country. Poor quality of care, lack of medical assessment, and a reluctance to see the actual signs and symptoms as serious will forever leave our family wondering if this facility's dismissive treatment of my mother hastened her decline subsequently her death.

This was the worst urgent care experience I have ever had. I have visited this facility many times…read moreand usually received decent service. However, today's visit was especially disappointing. I waited over an hour in the waiting area, even though there were no other patients in the waiting room waiting. Perhaps there was one person being seen.  When I was finally called in, the assistant took my vitals, then the doctor entered the room. She didn't introduce herself (I later learned that her name is (Bernice Monroe )and kept asking if I had been wheezing. I responded negatively, and she briefly listened to my lungs and heart--about ten seconds. She then said she would prescribe a steroid, claiming it would treat the condition if it was allergies. I questioned this, clarifying that my symptoms didn't suggest allergies, and explained I'd been experiencing a chest cough and chest pain for several days. During this, she visibly yawned, looking tired rather than disinterested. I voiced my concerns about the steroid, noting there was no reason to prescribe it. I asked if she detected signs of pneumonia or bronchitis, and she responded no, but still planned to prescribe a steroid for allergies. She said if my symptoms worsened, possibly indicating bronchitis, it would treat that too--despite my clear statements to the contrary. I also pointed out she hadn't examined my ears, nose, or throat. She rolled her eyes and said, "oh, it's one of those days," before grabbing a tongue depressor. When I asked her to wear gloves, as she had requested me to open my mouth, she threw the depressor away, declared she was done, and left. I was so shocked by this lack of care that I told the waiting people they were about to be seen by a terrible doctor. This outburst was completely unlike me. I was just so outraged. I am at a loss for words about this whole experience. I am very disappointed because this location is quite convenient for me.

Dr. Curtis is the best out there. He is the most kindest doctor I have ever met. He truly cares and I can't say that anymore about any doctor I have seen. He is thorough. He takes his time to check everything, sending me for tests before he just randomly diagnoses me. In 10 years he has NEVER ever said, sorry, can't help. He has helped me through a lot of pain and agony I can't say enough about Dr. Curtis or his wonderful staff. I prefer him to my regular internist who, I will only see only if I have too. If I have the cold, flu, sore throat, etc. If you want the best, go see Dr. Curtis and his team, you won't be sorry.
