I have been very pleased with all my experiences at North Jersey PT ! Unfortunately, since 1996 I…read morehave suffered several injuries - arm - ankle - shoulder - that required varying amounts of physical therapy to achieve a return to full strength and range of motion. I had gone to 3 different practices previously and had been satisfied. But in late November 2021, at age 74, I suffered a terrible fall, sustaining a severe leg injury requiring surgery to repair my very badly torn quadriceps tendon, a truly excruciating injury. It wasn't until I had my first visit at North Jersey PT that I realized there could be so very much of a difference from one PT practice to another. These folks are extraordinary medical practitioners! When I had my preliminary exam and assessment with Carol, the owner, I told her I felt like I'd had a visit with an MD! Of course she is a Doctor of PT. But the difference to me was that suddenly the prior experiences I'd had in PT only qualified in my mind as "Good" versus the feeling with Carol was "Okay, now I'm in the Major Leagues!" Most of my appointments have been with Kim and Polixeni, who are also Doctors of PT, and like Carol they also give me the feeling of, "Wow, you're not my Athletic Trainer. You're my DOCTOR!" The other night I said to Polixeni, "Having you work with me isn't just physical therapy it's MetaPhysical. a total mind, body, spirit healing experience." Also the administrative staff members, Marlo and Holly, are very congenial and helpful making every visit a well rounded event. I am so pleased and fully recommend North Jersey PT !!

Five stars for the care that aides gave my mother - and my father when he visited her. Zero stars…read morefor the way the owners of the company charge for an extra thirty days after my mother has died. We would have placed her there even if we had seen the fine print - thirty days' notice regardless of whether the patient dies - but when he went to do final paperwork and take out her things the day after she died, my father made the cruel discovery that they will keep over $8,000 of his $10,000 security deposit. We thought that the fee was surprisingly low, but now I see that they can afford to charge what they do and make up for it by taking money for deceased residents for thirty days.

I agree with the review of 3/22/2018…read more This place is a rip off. While being placed on "Medicaid Pending" back May 1, 2018 (and they were informed in March that we were applying to Medicaid for my mother-in-law who is 89), when Medicaid was recently finally approved, they said they will not accept the Medicaid money because they do not have a Medicaid bed and and we personally will have to pay them from May 1st. How can that be??? Why would you not tell someone in May or March when we advised them that there was no Medicaid bed and go somewhere else that has a Medicaid bed before you apply. This is underhanded. We do not have thousands of dollars to pay them when Medicaid is waiting for the final bill so they can pay them from May 1st. They took my mother in for years for private pay but now that the poor woman with no memory or money left at all is approved for Medicaid to pay, they want to throw her out and not take the Medicaid money from when she applied. This is a heartless business.
