I've gone to the same exact mechanic from the time I began driving. He was a long time mechanic of my family business. A few months ago, I moved out to Arizona. I refused to find a mechanic here because I was worried being a younger woman, that I was going to get taken advantage of wherever I went. I timed it to where when I knew my oil change and tire rotation was coming up, I could drive back to California and get it done at my old shop, probably excessive but I made a vacation out of it. Then suddenly, because of course it would, my AC goes out during summer here and I was not about to drive 6 hours without AC to take it back home. Mesa Auto and Truck Clinic happened to be extremely close to my house, so I figured if anything, at least I wouldn't have to go far. The family that owns and operates this business has been a serious blessing to my life and have gone extremely out of their way to help me, much more than I would ever expect of even my old mechanic. After 2 days back and forth - they figured the problem out. But they told me for my benefit, I could get the problem solved quicker and probably for less going some place else as it would be a trial and error fix for them. I can't explain how respectable this business is. They could've taken my money, but now they have a life long customer. Even if I move further away and there's closer shops, I will gladly still come back to Mesa Auto and Truck Clinic. I won't be needing to drive 6 hours to get my regular maintenance anymore. 10 out of 10 stars. read more

I have been looking for an honest, Reliable Auto Repair Shop since relocating to Arizona in January of this year. Came across this shop by chance while at a customer's house in Mesa; Dominic replaced my headlight bulb no charge. He explained that the connection was melting, I went back today and he rewired the connection, really reasonable and super helpful friendly! So glad I found you! read more

I made an appointment to get a rotor replaced a week ago. When I got there to drop off they refused to use my part, because, "you could sue me", said I had to use there part. I questioned him and then got upset and honestly probably cussed. He refused to service my vehicle at all. I took it to another mechanic immediately who had no problem using my part. I just paid off my car and plan on spending some money to fix up my car to keep until the wheels fall off. Guess who's losing that $$$? read more

I used to live in this neighborhood and took my '89 pick-up truck to this place a few times. I took my truck for some routine maintenance and fluid checks. When I came to pick up my truck the brakes gave out while driving off the lot. Hmmm. They offered to do fix my brakes and not charge me labor. I agreed to do this - not a smart move looking back but I needed my truck and I wasn't able to drive it. A couple of months later my brakes went out completely while I was driving on the road! Luckily, I avoided any accidents. To be fair, they did replace my brakes (again) at no additional charge. I had gone through too much at this point for that to make much of a difference for me. I would definitely ask these for these guys to give you the old part if something is going to be replaced. I would also ask for their receipt for any purchase of the new part. I am a little suspicious that they may be using refurbished parts. I will not be using this company again. I should note this was about 5 years ago. The shop may now be run in a more honest and efficient way today. I really try to support local, small businesses and don't really like giving low ratings. I would just recommend to proceed with caution. read more

Over the years I've taken my vehicles there a few times, and twice had to pick my vehicle up without getting the work done. The first time they said that they weren't equipped to fix the problem, but it turned out that they completely misdiagnosed it, anyway. The second time they thought they knew what the problem was, but refused to give me a quote based on their recommended solution. I love supporting the local shops, but this one is really only good for oil changes if you can deal with the guy at the front desk who has the customer service skills of an injured baboon. The owner is a nice guy, but he just tinkers on his own vehicles and doesn't seem to care that the front desk guy is losing him business. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. read more

Dominic and team are great! They have repaired both our Van and Suburban quickly and at a good price. We have refered many of our friends to them. We have had a couple times where a few things needed repaired. To help save us money they let us know what needed to be repaired right away and what could wait. It is a great feeling knowing you will be taken care of when you send your vehicle to them. read more

Went there to get a tune up. dropped vehicle off. Received a call to pick up vehicle. They told me that the spark plugs were good and they recommended that I do not get a tune up at this time but to wait a couple of months then it will be time. They also adjusted a pulley on the fan belt. When I asked how much. They said there was No Charge because they did not spend much time on it and I was not ready for a tune up. I think they are very honest and treat you well. they could have done the tune up and charged me I would not have been the wiser. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone. Mesa Auto/Truck Clinic is the most honest, reliable and knowledgeable mechanic I have ever used. Dominic has quoted several jobs, then delivered early and exactly as quoted. Today we had our starter replaced. Dominic quoted hundreds under other local shops and even tested the car first so we were certain the starter was actually the problem. Another time when we took this car to him with a problem that he determined was a transmission problem he told us he did not rebuild transmission. He had spent considerable time diagnosing the problem yet didn't charge a dime. Mesa Auto/Truck Clinic does great work, at super prices. We have every confidence in this shop, they have proven themselves to us on multiple occasions. read more
