Great company, I've been using them to manage my property in Victorville for 3 years now and I don't have any complaints.

This company seemed eager to get the application fee. And quick to deny based on current landlord but when I talked to my landlord she said she never received a call inquiring about my rental history. Also my credit score they listed is inaccurate I check my credit constantly so I believe I was never considered for the house and was just written off even tho. I'm well qualified and make more than enough income. And missed out on my dream house I feel scammed. read more

I agree with Lilly R. A few days ago, I went to visit their office in Victorville, CA and asked if my bad credit was ok, if I would be qualified to rent a house, and they said "YES" so I am all happy, go lucky looking for houses and paying 90 dollars for credit check fees for myself, my husband and adult son. Lo and behold we were denied! despite having perfect rental history and a steady job and income. If you are a possible tenant, I repeat: Do not come here!!! They will give you false hopes, steal your money and deny you. Future tenants beware! Not happy with Assistant Manager Autumm Janda. We rented a home in Victorville through Mesa Property Management and cannot say enough good about this company. The home we rented was priced right and very nice. We lived there for almost 5 years but had to move out of state. Everyone at Mesa was friendly and professional. If you need a rental home you will be very happy with Mesa. read more

Terrible communication. Eventually received an email denying application to rent a property because my "rental history could not be verified". More accurately, they never called my leasing office or attempted to verify anything. Good thing we didn't wait around, ended up finding a much better property with landlords who had no problem verifying my rental history. Amazing. Poor customer service and communication. Mesa properties gave us the run around and failed to call back or keep in touch as they promised. The times you do constantly contact them to keep up to date on house/ application status they are rude on the phone. Olivia doesn't answer and when she does she is rude. I was approved by other property management companies and kept in contact throughout each process. PART of the reason we were denied by the glorious mesa properties was no previous renter history. How does one obtain any history if they can't start somewhere. Poor process and poor customer service. Thank god we found another property management to welcome us and provide us the service we deserved. Would give 0 stars but as you know 1 is the minimum. read more

I've been using Mesa Property Management since 2015. They've been nothing but great to work with. They found a tenant which I've had zero issues with. When small things came up that needed to get fixed they promptly notified me, gave me an estimate, and have always been able to resolve the issue quickly. The process of paying the extra costs for repairs, or recovering my rental income from them has always been smooth and effortless. Our family leased a house from Mesa Property Management for close to a year and it was a good experience. We had to move to the high desert from Long Beach for my husband's new job and needed a nice place right away. Beau Cooper was our agent at Mesa. He came out on a Sunday to show us the house and then was very effective at handling all the paperwork and move-in details from a distance. We were able to move in quickly. All the people we dealt with at Mesa Property were polite and professional. When we had maintenance issues, it was very easy to contact Beau, who took care of the problems in a timely manner. When we decided to buy a house in the area and had to terminate our lease early, Beau made sure everything went smoothly. We were even able to get our deposit money back. And we honestly taught it was doing to be difficult and a lot of questions and paperwork but Autumn made it smooth and easy and very friendly! And we got approved right away after all the paper work was submitted I also loved that everything was through text or online because having a full time job and being a mom of 2 it was easy not having to be on my phone all the time! Sherree is awesome, she provided great customer service and she also answered all my questions. this was my first experience with a property management and I must say I do not know why I did not do it sooner. they made everything easy for me since I do not live in the area. she provided reasonable quotes for repairs that needed to be done to my house before renting it out and got it done in a timely manner. In my opinion! Mesa is horrible! They seemed more eager to get there deposit for the app but then turn around have no customer service and deny us! The manager at the Victorville location was very rude to my girlfriend and myself, ran us in circles. Due to my gf making a career move and just started another job after she has been at her old job for 3 year! The manager wanted documentation of her pay as we did, which was no problem. BUT didn't even give me a chance to show her that Other than my job I also own my own business. The money was no issue but to be treated as we did was unprofessional and down right wrong. Our family of three plus 1 dog was looking for a nice rental as we were moving to the area for my husbands new job. I ran across Mesa Property Mgt online and was interested in a few of the rentals they had to offer. All of which said were PET FRIENDLY. I went online, paid the 30.00 per adult fee $60.00 in total and applied for the house I liked the best. Everytime I called the company my call was sent to a recording for me to leave a message and someone would call me back...that should have been a sign. Most times they did ...but only to verify the viewing... stating if I had any questions about a specific property I needed to talk w the property mgr whom they couldnt transfer me to!? . The following weekend I made the trip (we were still living 4 hrs away) and viewed 3 houses. That was a Saturday. After seeing the house in person I was convinced that was the house I wanted. I was told it should only take 48 hrs for the owner to review the app and approve. We felt pretty confident we would get approved, we made more than 3x the rent, our credit is good and our dog is a Pug. So by Tuesday I still had heard nothing. I called the office no answer, no phone call return- just a wierd text from someone in the office stating they were having problems verifying our rental history (which was untrue bc I checked w our current rental company) then another txt the same day stating they had a problem verifying my husband work ( which was also a lie because he works for the state and they confirmed the work history that day) The text said they would get back to me the next day. Wednesday went by with no word, nothing. Thursday comes and I get a txt stating we were denied because of our dog. Even though their website clearly stated it was a pet friendly property or I would not have even bothered. I returned the txt saying someone from the office needed to CALL me asap.... I was pretty upset at this point. A few minutes later someone did finally call me. Needless to say, they took our money, denied us for a house and didn't even have the courtesy to call and tell us.They just sent a super jerky, totally UNPROFESSIONAL text. Stay away from Mesa Property they are clearly not trustworthy and are certainly NOT transparent in their dealings with clients. Waste of time and money. In the end we found a way better house in a way better location. Thanks for NOTHING Mesa Property Management. read more

This company is racist and or biased. I have good credit over 20k in the bank. A good paying career. I don't have sec8. No evictions. They denied my rental application for reasons I believe to be discrimination. Black single mother. All contact from beginning to end has been robotic and calculated. I'd imagine someone being enthusiast and friendly if their job were to help or facilitate families finding there next home. They are either scamming people for the $30 app fee. Or only sifting through and hand picking. Who they want to rent to. I am more then qualified to rent a house that's 1/3 my income. They claimed they couldn't verify my address history which I verified with my current landlord is a lie. They claimed I have poor payment history which I know to be lie because I monitor my credit. I will be reporting them to the BBB. I will be contacting consumer affairs. I will contact all the other 1star reviewers and advise them to do the same.Please beware most reviews are from alleged owners. This is my review as a prospect. I dealt with four different staff members none of them had the decency to speak to me over the phone I got text and emails. I advice you to use another company . If your not married and your credit isn't over 750 don't bother. read more

I have used Mesa Properties on multiple levels. Let me say their management services are great, no comparison. And we have had many property managers through the years! Very competent staff. Now on the another level as far as tenants go, they seem to look out for the tenant as well. They seem to maintain their rental property to a higher standard. They appear to have a mutual goal for both tenant and property owner, and that is the satisfaction of both parties. A well established business with integrity. this is my first review on yelp. just created an account for reviewing mesa property service. our story is diff. for selling and renting and finding property management company.... so please read ............. i have(/had) one house in victorville and put for sale in september,2015 after 2 years renting (through other management companies) but did not get sell till mid november (now in escrow) what was the motive for selling the house? i had very very very very bad experience from my previous management companies, they treat you horribly and behave like that they are the owner of the house, there were so many hurdles and finally i decided to sale the house just because i did not find anybody in high desert to manage my property, you are at mercy of your property management company. thats all i can say. when my house did not sell, till mid november, i decided to find another property management company. after carefully scrutinizing all companies i finally chosen mesa property management, and here my totally different experience started. i came in touch with sherree stewart, (she is amazing). i asked tons and tons of questions to them based on my previous experience with other companies that i used for renting. sherree had wonderfully answered all my questions so well that i became enough knowledgeable to convince myself about their services and their way of operating their business which cares for client. they work for your interest and what works best for you. unfortunately, before i sign the contract with them i got an purchase offer on my house in last hour and i did not sign the contract and now my house in escrow and about to close in mid-december. but based on my experience and questions i asked i am fully convinced that next time if somebody ask me or if i need to give any property for management, i will call sherree first from mesa property. they are awesome. guys guys guys, dont waste your time finding other companies go for mesa property , right away......and have piece of mind regarding your property. i dont see any reason why someone would not go with mesa property. if you really care about your property you gotta go with mesa property thats the only address for you. thanks sherree for your help and assisting me, unfortunately, we were not able to work with you since we got an offer before we were about to sign a contract with mesa property management. i am 101% recommending mesa property for their service and care for their client. best of luck and keep helping people like you do. read more

So...update. I just found out through my current landlord that Mesa Property Management called and left a message for a reference. My landlord called them back left a msg and fax number to send the request form. Mesa never returned his call or send fax yet they denied me stating they couldn't verify my rental history. ..this place is straight fraud and of course no one will reply to my emails or return my call. read more

They say bad credit is ok, that's a lie. Our credit was good and still didn't get approved. Have great rental history. Made more than enough money and still denied. They said couldn't verify income, I gave them a new number and still didn't help is out. I went to the office to try and explain my situation and they were so rude and loud about my application , talking about it in front of customers I was so embarrased, I cried when I left. Sherree has been wonderful from the beginning. When I requested information on a Saturday at midnight, Sherree responded and provided all the information I needed the following morning on a Sunday, when you expect no one is working. She is very polite, quick and professional. In addition, the management flat fee is reasonable depending on your rental price. This company provides most of their customer service through technology so if you are not prepared to have very little contact with the person you are giving your personal information to then this is not the company for you. When we went to see the property we were interested in, we were told that our family needed to make three times the $2800 rent. That was no problem. We were focused on that. This is our fault because we didn't the fine print on their requirements. It clearly states on their FAQs "We require monthly income of 3 times the amount of your monthly rent per household and at least 2 times per applicant". We didn't meet the "and" part of that for three adults. I completely understand that but what I would have preferred was a more personable experience. A denial email with a general reply didn't cut it for me. When I called this was explained to me. Like I said, if you want personable customer service, this is not the property management for you. read more

The application process took over a week only to be denied based off of incorrect information. I was told I was denied because my employment verification was faxed and never returned. I work in the HR department and have the fax transmittal that was submitted back to Mesa Property, after I had to request the paperwork to be sent multiple times. The office staff does not return calls and when they do, are very rude. I have never had such a poor experience with a leasing company. read more

beware of this property management. they took our application also charged us 200.00 dlrs. fee then denied us, their was that thee main applicant fica score was too low, but infact we checked our fica score and thee overall fica score was 750 using three credit burals to check fica scores. thee credit companies said thee right way to check credit scores is to check all three not just one. we believe mesa properties management is absolutely wrong, because the lady rep. said they use only Experian to check fica scores out , she then said that what her boss said and that's it. she also said that the house could just empty, they didn't care if it didn't matter if it got rented out or not. what beautiful public relations and professionalism. beware public of this scam they might just tack your monies also. we also have good credit ,plenty of income to qualify and good property rental refrences too . read more

I hired this company to manage my rental home and had nothing but bad experiences. The tenants at my house got my phone number some how and would call me instead of the property manager, and when I asked my property manger to ask the tenant to only call them when they need something my property manager says, "well, it's not in our contract that the tenant can't call you." What am I paying you for? Plus one day near Christmas the tenant locked themselves out of the house and called me of course, so when I was finally able to get ahold of the property manager they say, "we encourage the tenants not to call us if they lock themselves out of their home. " So the property manager finally calls a locksmith who breaks the nice lock I had on my door, replaces the nice lock with the cheapest lock they could find and tells me the charge goes to tenant, but it didnt, they charged ME, not the tenant $200+.. This is just a few examples (and theres more) of how poor the quality of service is at this business and would never do business with this shady company again. read more
