Big disappointment during six years mesa did not t want to replace the carpet saying that the owner didn't want to and mesa was responsible for it because they are incharge of maintenance and not replacing a carpet for so long no matter howmany times t you wash it thats UNHEALTHY, there mainance people never complete a job always left things halfway and sometimes ill have to do it my self and for that mesa never payme, but when is about charging the renters they doit right away ridiculous pricing for nothing and even they stole part of my deposit stating that was for cleaning after I took a weekend to make sure evething was clean. I write this to hopefully mesa be more responsible and fair to the people that pay for a service. And DONT JUST TAKE PEOPLES MONEY. Believe the one-star reviews. As terrible as Mesa Properties is to try and rent from, you have little choice because they manage the vast majority of rentals in the Victor Valley area. Here's what to expect: 1. The only way to schedule appointments to view properties is through the Mesa Properties website, and their appointments days/times are VERY limited. Of three properties we were interested in, only one was available during the coming weekend. (Tricky for us, since we're relocating from 80 miles away.) 2. Two hours before our scheduled viewing, the company called to confirm the appointment. Fair enough. The creepy part is that the phone call was completely automated--with a female voice so monotone it made SIRI sound like a giddy school girl. Creepy computer voice told us if we didn't press "1" our appointment would be canceled, so we pressed "1." 3. Which turned out to be irrelevant since the appointment ended up being not just for us but for four other families at the same time. 4. Other than unlocking the door, the only--ONLY--thing the guy who showed us the property did was hand us an application at the end and explain that we had to apply. . . you guessed it, online. The house had broken tiles and long, black scrapes along the wall, so we asked the guy what work was left to be done on the house. "I have no idea," he said. "I'm not the property manager," as if we were ridiculous for assuming such a thing. Silly us for wondering what the house was might look like before we actually moved in. 5. Two other families at the property viewing at the same time we were mentioned that other rentals they'd scheduled to see through Mesa Properties got canceled at the last minute or had obviously been rented out BEFORE their applications (and application fees) were turned in. Bottom line: If you like being treated as if you're an irrelevant commodity, you will love this company. Otherwise, Mesa Properties SUCKS. read more

We can not say enough good things about Mesa Properties and, in particular, Bridget Gorman. The house we are renting has been well maintained and we love everything about it, but like all homes, occasionally things need maintenance. When that happens, Bridget always gets back to us very quickly and immediately sets up a work order. The vendors are friendly and do great work. Additionally, even when no maintenance is required, Bridget is always quick to get back to us, answer any questions, and help us in any way possible. We had to learn the hard way that not all property management companies are equal. I found this property managed by Mesa Property Management by accident and was hesitant to go thru a property management company for renting a home because of a previous bad experience but I'm glad I did. Long story short - Beau Cooper was our property manager and he was great! He is an easy person to work with; I have never had any problem with him in regard to the management of the property. Beau was very attentive, easy- to- deal-with type of guy and always on the lookout for the tenant. I normally don't write reviews on Yelp. I think they are often times misleading. Being that I'm not originally from the area, I never truly understood the importance of having great reviews. Now that I'm living in this new area, everyone swears by their experience on Yelp when it comes to dealing with businesses. My story is pretty simple. I decided to move out to Victorville. I came across this rental company and of course read the reviews. Some were good and some were bad. I spoke with a couple different people in the office who were very helpful. In the beginning, I did receive some bad information and was able to speak directly with the manager. She informed me she would look into my file further to see where the lapse in communication happened. She did exactly that and we were able to move forward in my rental process. She lined up several home showings for me and the staff she sent out was very helpful in answering all of my questions. Her contact with me was outstanding. My advice to anyone renting would to know what the requirements are before you apply. If you are unsure about your income, credit score, or rental history, you may need to do your homework before you submit an application. Mesa is very thorough and are really only going by what the landlords criteria are. They have a screening process which filters those who don't meet the qualifications of the landlord. Have your ducks in a row. They are willing to work with you as long as your professional. You have to understand that many people are applying and they want the best tenants in the home. Again,......this is just my advice. The level of customer service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend others to this company. Verenice is definitely a person I would do business with in the future. I also would like to thank Katie for meeting the southern gas rep in my absence. Many business reps don't understand the importance of follow-ups and making sure their customers have the best experience possible. That is an area in which many lack. When I moved in I was told I would have a gardener because the yard was full of weeds. The yard was not ready before I moved. Never received a gardener. My air conditioning system wasn't working right, and they knew it was a problem before I moved in. The swamp cooler wasn't working either and blew dust into my house. There was junk in the garage that was never taken out. It's like pulling teeth to get help, but if you are persistent enough they will get to it. I have been a tenant under mesa property management going on 2 years now. The first time I started working with them was amazing, not only did they help me get into my house quickly they were more than helpful in finding the right fit for me and my roommates. When my lease was up, I started looking into other options for myself (Ex: apartments, other management agencies, private rentals.) In the end, I decided to stay with Mesa. I am so happy that I did. Again, they were able to find me just the right house for me. Their team is great! I've worked with Sherrie on both houses and she's is truly the sweetest. I'm the type that has a lot of questions and calls a lot, but I was never made to feel that I was bugging or bothering anyone. Beau was an amazing manager when I was at my first house. I have come to the conclusion that it's just how they work. Anytime I have an issue I bring it to them and they find a solution. The repairs are made in a timely manner and always send someone I can trust. The repair companies even work with my schedule! I just moved into my new house in September and have noticed in the past month that I have a slight spider issue (totally understandable as the house was vacant before I moved in) I email Mesa this morning (Sherrie and Steven) and got a reply immediately! Their communication, Customer service, tenant awareness, and willingness to make things happen, is why I rated this 5 stars. I highly recommend renting from Mesa Property Management. They have always taken care of me and made the home finding stress so much less. If I could give them zero stars I would. This company has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. It's so hard to get a hold of an actual human on the phone. They have this automated system you can't get through. So I walked into the office, made an appointment to view a property they had available, they made me schedule a day that was far out because that's all they have available and they then sent me a message the next day saying the home was no longer available but it makes no sense because they haven't shown it to anyone yet according to their showing policy.. I don't recommend working with them. Imagine being a tenant with a major issue at your home and not being able to get in touch with anyone. This place should just close their doors and let real companies take care of business the right way.. read more

Great company, I've been using them to manage my property in Victorville for 3 years now and I don't have any complaints.

This company seemed eager to get the application fee. And quick to deny based on current landlord but when I talked to my landlord she said she never received a call inquiring about my rental history. Also my credit score they listed is inaccurate I check my credit constantly so I believe I was never considered for the house and was just written off even tho. I'm well qualified and make more than enough income. And missed out on my dream house I feel scammed. read more
