If you're at Denver and looking for a decent spot to eat I'd recommend eating here. Staff were friendly and the portions were worth what you pay.
We had a long layover in Denver, and we decided to make the most of it and have a little brunch at Mesa Verde This is located on the 2nd floor of the eating area/food court in Terminal A. There is plenty of "patio" and interior seating The space was clean, and the service was good. Our server was funny, helpful, and kind. The menu offered a variety of brunch and breakfast delicacies as well as other Tex-Mex/southwester style items Some tips: The mimosas were delightful, and they're obviously a necessary part of brunch for most, but they're not listed on the drink menu, and when we looked at the check they were almost as expensive as the entrees Cheers!!
Despite having lack luster food reviews we wanted to give this location a shot. We were formally seated near closing time, but no-one came to take our order. This restaurant itself wasn't well kept. Not recommended.
In a rush at the airport didn't have time to stop and grab a meal? Denver Airport has lots of choices for restaurants. Today we tried Mesa Verde and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Definitely, a level above most choices. Rachel was a friendly lady and the service she provided was excellent. She had a vote in our decision on what to order. The Western burger or the Colorado burger? She said go with the Colorado burger and that was a great decision! Bacon, double patties, chilies and cheese! Quite delicious as I rarely have a burger. It was large enough for two people! The waffle fries were crisp and hot. The restaurant has lots of tables spread out and it is a clean environment . Two thumbs up
I had a burrito that was filled with Cilantro rice Black beans Poblanos Roasted corn And this amazing sauce I definitely would recommend this place it's great airport food and the bar tender Jessica is her name, ask for her.......,
Other restaurants were packed so we gave this sleepy restaurant a try. Food was not good, but it was nice to sit down and feel relaxed for a bit before our flight. The nachos were dry and flavorless. We asked for a side of queso since it was mentioned in the menu u and there wasn't much on our nachos. My husband thought my street tacos were okay, but I thought they were too bland. The drinks were good. They allowed us to order To-Go cups of wine on our way out. We were able to drink our wine while waiting to board our plane, but were asked to throw them away after we boarded the airplane.
Chips and salsa trio is a nice little snack while waiting on your flight. Jason S was our bartender and he was pretty good. Drinks are a bit pricey but it is airport pricing of course. I had a Sauvignon blanc and husband had a beer. It is on the upper level of the airport so it is a relaxing place to get a drink. Some of the patrons were getting burritos and they looked pretty good.
On a very busy February weekend, the Centurion Lounge was impossible to access, so I ventured to Terminal A for what's deemed the best food in the Denver Airport. Note: you must take the escalator up to the mezzanine level (not far from the USO). For $35, I had a margarita and a bowl of what was called chicken tortilla soup, though I might argue that point. The margarita was called a "coin" margarita, which this TexMex has never heard of. It was short and squatty but good. The soup was not quite what I expected or what was described. I think I found one chunk of chicken, a couple of corn kernels, and no "fresh cilantro." For $10.95, I also expected a larger volume--this didn't feel any larger than a cup. It tasted like a bean dip that's full of chipotle and chili/taco seasoning. Not bad, but different. The accompanying tortillas were not like my abuelita's; they were super thin, the flavor was ok, but where the middle was soft, the edges were very stale, like they'd been sitting out in a dry climate all day. The service was friendly enough, though they seemed understaffed for the busy ski season. Despite lots of empty tables and open spots at the bar, they were on a 20-minute wait. When the bar finally "reopened" for open seating, I snagged a spot there even though I was next on the list. The menu is pretty extensive, so I might give this place another try one of these days.
Disappointing food. Out of a can salsa and cheese dip and "guac" out of a bag. Very bland. I suppose it is airport food but for the price we should have just gotten Taco Bell. Staff was nice enough and atmosphere is good, food is not.
We stopped in for dinner before our flight. They have a QR menu that is very hard to read on a phone so ask for a menu. We tried the Beef Red Chile burrito and the Chicken Green Chile burrito. Both were okay but nothing special. Service was slow.
I got off at the wrong terminal, but what a happy mistake because I found this gem on the upper level of Terminal A at DEN! The ambiance was casual but clean; the bar staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was OUTSTANDING! The cilantro lime rice was to die for and everything else I saw come out of the kitchen looked equally scrumptious. I think I'll get off accidentally on purpose here every time I fly through DEN.
"I don't remember how the food tasted. I just remember how expensive it was." - my wife. Isn't that sad? It's probably expensive as all get-out to operate a restaurant in DIA, so, fine... but at least have honest pricing. I didn't appreciate the "2% Surcharge", and my understanding is that under a law that just went into effect, such an unmentioned adder would be illegal. read more

Bartender very nice and sociable. I got the burrito with the green salsa. Too spicy for me. Also, burrito was covered with salsa, so unable to eat without fork. read more

Delayed on a trip, we decided to get a meal, and got lucky with a stop at Mesa Verde in Terminal A. After a brief wait of 15 minutes, were seated, and had great, truly great customer service, as a server had a bunch of tables on a busy day and carried it out flawlessly. We enjoyed the homemade chips and guacamole, and then I loved the Colorado Burgrr from their specials, a heck of a meal for $13.99. Blend of Angus beef, pork belly, and brisket on a bun with tasty toppings. Added fries, which were good. Ideal location, it is now on the potential stop list moving forward. read more

This is not a Michelada - this is a red beer. Any Michelada where the beer has to be repeatedly poured into the glass as you drink messes with the mix to beer ratio. It's unfortunate because at the end of the drink you are left with iced beer and pepper... Simple solution - larger glasses and a mix that isn't so obviously Bloody Mary because the two are NOT the same. The green chile is typical Colorado fair. Unlike the green chile I grew up with that burned holes in my tongue (I'm not complaining) It's not overly seasoned and mild so anyone can try and enjoy it. Marcos the bartender was great. read more
Hey yelp. It's been a while since I reviewed this place and how it has fallen. They kind of suck now. Ordered a club and they gave me this thing. One piece of bacon and one slice of tomato for a 16 dollar sandwich WITHOUT sides. They trick you by saying you can add a side but it's like 6.45 for fries. Almost 23 dollars?? Should have gone to the chop house. read more
I arrived at DEN's Terminal A with a delayed flight to Toronto. Originally, the layover was fifty minutes, but the boarding time kept getting extended. At this stage, I had just over a two-hour layover. It was lunch time for me, as I had breakfast at around 5 am Central. I looked at the food court. It looked packed in front of McDonald's and Panda Express. I wanted something better for what would be my last meal in the States before heading home. I walked around and saw a sign for Mesa Verde. It was on the second floor. Perfect! I went up the escalator and headed over there. It had a casual vibe. I like it. The bar was on the left. I wanted to dine in on the right. I walked over to the man greeting people and asked for a table. He got me one in a cozy corner. My server was nice and attentive. I ordered a glass of water and a Diet Coke. I was thirsty. They were icy cold and hit the spot. He got me a refill on the latter when I was running low. The menu is available by scanning the QR code on the table. It was annoying when I switched apps because this menu would disappear on me. Ugh! I ended up taking a screenshot of what I wanted. Problem solved! I felt like tacos and got the taco combo with beans and rice. You get to choose what tacos you'd like, so I chose shredded chicken, portobello mushroom, and seasoned ground beef. Moments later, I got my food. I was ready to dig in. The tacos were yummy. The soft shells were a bit soggy at the bottom, thanks to the moisture in the filling. it wasn't a bad issues, as I devoured them fairly quickly. I enjoyed all of them. The seasoned ground beef was probably my favourite. It was so good! The portobello mushroom one tasted meaty. I liked the slices, but I felt that they needed to be smaller chunks. The shredded chicken was yummy, but there needed to be more chicken. All three tacos had cheese, diced tomatoes, and shredded lettuce on top. It made me feel like I was eating something healthy. I loved the rice and beans. I polished everything as if I had licked my plate clean. I texted my friend who lives in Denver, as it seemed rude to be in her city and not say hi. It was a decent layover to chill out and enjoy a meal here, but it wasn't enough time for me to pop out and see her. It wouldn't have worked anyway, as she let me know that she got COVID-19 to ring in the new year. Horrible! Luckily, she was about to be cleared to go back to work and felt much better, so that was a positive. I paid at the table. My server fetched my credit card to run the transaction through. All was great. I provided a tip. The woman next to me was watching a movie on her MacBook Air. I don't get why folks don't use earbuds in a public setting. I could hear all of it clearly and I didn't need to listen to it. Eventually, she left, so all was great. I didn't sit near an outlet to charge my phone. I was getting close to it powering down on its own. I was fortunate to board my plane and charge my phone that was pretty close to dying. Terminal A doesn't have as many restaurants to grab a bite to eat and enjoy good quality food. Mesa Verde is a great addition. I'm so glad that I found it. Service is fast, which is what you want when time is important to board your flight. I was in kill-time mode and service was wonderful under relaxed circumstances. I'd definitely return if I need some good grub in a comfy eatery. (52) read more
Stopped by for a quick bite - the service was quick and our food came out within 10 minutes. We both enjoyed our meals, I had the chipotle chicken wrap with a huge side salad, my husband had the burrito. He said the meat and sauce were both very tasty. He also enjoyed a spicy Bloody Mary and IPA - they had plenty of TVs to watch football if you are flying when sports are going on. The menu was also extensive with a mix of American and Mexican style entrees. It's pricey but that's expected with any airport restaurant. read more
It took a minute to be seated because the teenager they had working as a hostess was on the phone with a customer but since she was a young teen a simple call with questions was overly complicated. The service overall was very slow but friendly. The menu is a QR code which is annoying and hard to read. I went with a nacho chicken burrito. It looked amazing but was somehow very bland. If you want to kill some time and eat something other than fast food in the run down Denver airport than this is your spot. Just don't have high hopes of flavorful food. read more
The host person allowed us to sit where we preferred. She was great. Our server was nice and friendly but not as attentive. The food was average. I had the huevos rancheros. Not asked if I preferred red or green Chile so when it came I wasn't happy. The sauce was tangy and I didn't like it. The dish itself was not great. Expensive but not great. Not sure I'll order that again if my friend asks me to breakfast. He liked his dish. I will need to reevaluate next breakfast. The restaurant wasn't busy yet which was nice. Alright y'all. Honest review. My fiancé & I had a 2 hour layover in Denver. We did not want to eat fast food. So we decided to dine in here. Food: We ordered; queso & chips, nacho libre burrito & Denver wings. I would not order the queso again. Chips weren't all that either. My fiancé & I shared it & didn't finish half. The burrito was yummy though! I'd order that again. Wings were okay. It was the special of the day. Service was GREAT!! We were seated right away. No wait. :) Our server checked on us often. I'd give 5 stars for service, but I'm giving 3 for the quality of food. read more

Wish I could give a 3.5. A friend and I had a leisurely three hours before our flight and decided margaritas sounded good. There was a bit of a wait to get seated ... the host seemed to be MIA. Plenty of open seating, though, so we were quickly seated once he was back on duty. Tiffany was our server and very friendly and attentive, although I suspect she was trying to cover many, many tables. Our food was very good. Prices were typical for airport drinks and food. I had ordered the chip and dip trio but received the chips and salsa. (The receipt charged me for chips and salsa.). Server was happy to help bring me the right sides, but it was probably a 10 minute wait (kinda forever in an airport setting). There's plenty of seating at this restaurant and the line to get in varied from no one to about a dozen people. Service was friendly but this is not a place you should go if you need to watch the clock. read more

Some of the best food in Denver's airport. Plus it serves local flavor. Sitdown and takeout are available. I chose the pork carnitas burrito smothered in green chili. Good and with the upstairs location it is separated from the hustle of an airport. read more
Had a good dinner here while awaiting a flight Staff was friendly and very attentive. Even bringing wipes after eating my wings. The wings (chili) have a great kick to them which I'll have to remember next time in A concourse with some time. Salad had a good mix of ingredients and no sight of wilty greens you sometimes get at some places. Service was fast and friendly. read more

So, anyone up to BAR HOP?! Well, it was good for my 1 hour layover. It is nice and chill, you can seat yourself at the bar...which I did. I snagged a 9oz glass of Chardonnay with Pork Street Tacos! Can you say pretty yum! The food was hot, came out fast, and the customer service was amazing...thanks to Passion! read more
