On my layover en route my Grilled Veggie Bowl was ok but sort of a wet mushfest. Not my favorite. They were skimpy with the vegetables - a few bell pepper strips and onion shreds served soaking wet and showing no evidence of having been "grilled" - and I really needed some crunch or something to break up the grandpa's oatmeal texture that was very one-note. More rice and less under-seasoned beans-pile would have helped. And the staff were not very nice. Multiple grumpy-pants. But then on my layover going home on the same trip a few days later inexplicably I came back and tried the Two Tamales with black beans, lettuce, pico, spicy red sauce, cheese and sour cream. Much better! The tamales were actually really good! Redemption! It was pretty easy to find a seat both times, so there was also that. Not much for ambiance but better than eating at the gate. The tamales definitely beat a stale prepackaged airport sandwich. The Grilled Veggie Bowl, not so much. read more

Asked for Carne Asada but the meat didnt even look like carne asada. More like beef ends and trimmings. Nonetheless, flavors were there. Soda was small for the price point and the salad bowl tasted like it was fried in old oil. Descent option if you must eat in the airport, otherwise, wait and go out or until you get to your next destination. read more

So I was very surprised when I ordered from LA Casita that my tacos were delicious and the rice was excellent. Refried beans were average, probably from a can. I have been here several times on my way out of Denver. It's become my go to spot now, because it's quick, consistent and reliable. The bartenders were friendly when we sat at the bar the first visit. The other times we've just gotten food and sat in the restaurant area. The food is tasty and reasonably priced for airport food. The service is good but I've seen people who don't speak Spanish struggle with their orders a bit, both communicating and understanding. I'll continue to stop here because nothing else appeals to me as much. read more

For an airport restaurant, this place isn't bad. It's somewhat healthy depending on the toppings that you pick. It's fast and fresh. There's a lot of seating right next to it. They also have a lot of bottle and can drink options. Prices aren't bad. I got the burrito bowl and they give you a decent amount of meat, in my case 2 scoops. *** Vegetarian Review *** Located near the C30 gates of the Southwest terminals. Great place to stop if you only have 45 minutes before your next flight. The line goes quick (Chipotle-style). All of their beans are vegetarian. Refried, black, and pinto. That's a definite plus. Vegetarians aren't limited in their choices here. 2 Tostadas / it's Chipotle-style ordering so you just go down the line. BYO, but there are paid upgrades. Rice, guacamole, and sour cream are all extras, but not a big upcharge. The corn tostada gets a little lost with all the toppings. It's not a very hearty shell so you don't get the additional textural component to every bite. Even still, it's a nice meal before you catch that flight. I tried both mild and medium salsas. Mild had a kick and the medium was just about where I can handle. Really did add an entirely different layer so if you can handle it, go for it. It met my expectations for airport food and that's why imma give this spot a 3/5, but imma take one star off cause the employees should be careful with what they say while working. This is my go-to for food & drinks before a flight out of Terminal C. There are usually seats available at the bar. They have a few beers on tap and a nice selection of tequila & mezcal. You can order food by standing in line, Chipotle-style. Or, you can order food directly from the bar. This is a great bypass when the line is long. I am a fan of the quesadilla with pork and the burrito with steak. The food is very similar to what you'd get at a Chipotle or Qdoba. There is non-bar seating in a communal area shared with the pizza place, McDonalds and the froyo spot. read more

Situated in the airport terminal is a food court. It can get busy based on flights incoming and outgoing. There wasn't a long line and the menu was prominently displayed in the waiting area. Walk up to the food counter (similar to a cafeteria) and place your order. In an assembly-line fashion your plate is moved from protein to vegetables and then the toppings (salsa, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, etc.) For an extra charge, I added grilled chicken to my tostada and "Frito" pie. It has been years since I've encountered a restaurant offering Frito pie, so I was rather delighted! They have plenty of tables, seating and a full bar at the left-hand side. It's first come, first served, just grab and table as soon as one customer leaves. It was nice to be able to sit and have a hot meal before a 4 hour flight. Southwest Airlines flies into Concourse C, where there is a serious dearth of good, quick food, and it's too much of a pain to go to any other Concourse for food, since you have to take the train. The prices are not too bad, given that you are in an airport where a bag of chips costs $3. I got an order of nachos ($7.50) with steak ($3) and sour cream ($1.25). It was a generous portion of chips, queso, salsa & carne. I would order this again, maybe skip the beans and sour cream. I think this is as good an airport Mexican food place as I have ever been. I had a taco salad today. The sauces, including the pico de gallo and the hot, actually had some taste!
