So I'm giving a three because I know all too well how Meson is supposed to taste. I can't expect the ones in FL to be like the ones in PR however, I expect much of the same business model. The bread, meson is known from tasty crunchy bread and this falls short. It was soggy and I've never had a soggy bread from there. The rest of the food tasted a tad different but not bad. Now the coffee was an abomination because that is one thing they are known for in PR but the coffee tasted awful. Not sure if they are doing a different ratio but they need to be retrained. Looking for a quick lunch after my bloodwork's. After getting getting gas at the local 7-11, by Narcoossee Rd, I followed the path were there's a line of restaurants. I saw in one corner this sandwich shop that I've never been to. I think they are Cuban. Correct me if I'm wrong. I got the Montevristo Sandwich. It's a combination of ham, Swiss cheese and mustard, Dipped in egg then pan fried until golden and gooey. For hubby, roast beef sandwich. They've also used Cuban bread pressed. My husband said, it was ok. I liked the crispness of the bread which makes me savor every bite. The sandwiches were not dry and tasted fresh and good. We could have shared one sandwich but I wanted to experience another type to review. The ambience at that time was quiet. The place is clean. Not too busy decor that makes it looking clear. Food was good. Service was horrible. Ordering was difficult. The cashier didn't seem to understand English and I don't speak Spanish. She was trying to give the wrong item. Another person came and got it correct. Then started the wait for our lunch. Approaching 20 minutes we were given our food. Only to have a missing sandwich. They assured us it would be a short wait as the sandwich was made incorrectly. Three of us finished eating our lunch before the sandwich finally came out. I complained about 4 orders that were after ours was filled before the missing sandwich was given to us. Their response was Sorry and no offer of compensation for the extremely log wait just " I don't work the grill. Refund of money or even an offer of a dessert would have been nice. We have eaten there before. The low reviews I saw about Meson Sandwiches are so true. The cheese on my Philly Steak sandwich was not even melted. read more

Meson sandwhich - I tried this restaurant off of Narcoossee as part of a secret shopper experience. I walked in about 830am and approached the counter. At first I wasn't even sure the guy was talking to me he kinda mumbled an intro sentence of trying something and I had to ask him if he was talking to me. After that he helped me with my order and I ordered a breakfast platter , an oatmeal and a latte. My food came out roughly 3 min later which was not bad. I walked up to the counter to get it. The food came out hot and everything tasted relatively good for it being fast breakfast food. Of course it wasn't home cooking , but it was still pretty good. The place was clean and I only saw a little bit of trash on one seat in the corner. I checked the bathrooms too and those were spotless. I think the staff was nice enough and I would recommend to anyone in a pinch for time for breakfast food. read more

Clean, friendly and welcoming. Quick serve! Finally getting a chance to sit and review. I have been here several times for quick staples from home. Love the maicena for mornings that are absolutely delicious!!! Also, the croquetas are a bit, and getting 6 sorullitos as a side with sandwich - major score!!! Btw, their mayo-ketchup is a perfect garlic blend, that tastes just like the one I make myself. I may need to take an extra with me for those tostones! So traveling to Lake Nona, Florida from Arizona on business for a few days. Had some time to grab a sandwich and really couldn't find anything in the area that looked interesting until I located this place. At first glance, it looks pretty commercial and franchise like. So I wasn't expecting anything great. I got the special holiday sandwich with the roast pork and Swiss cheese and grilled onions. This was the first time at this location. I usually go to the one in Kissimmee. I always order their sandwiches, but today I decided to try their Boricua Platter which was steak with a side salad. It looked very appealing in the picture that's why I decided to give it a try, boy was I disappointed!!!! Not what I expected the meat tasted like it was boiled. There was hair in my food both times I've visited this place in the past week! I went about a week ago, got a sandwich and came home to find hair inside the wrapper and on top of the sandwich. Emailed the company with no response. Wanted to give the restaurant another shot so went back today and once again found hair but this time it was in the middle of the sandwich!! On top of that the sandwich itself was so baddy wrapped that it was practically falling out of the wrapper when I pulled it out of the bag. Disgusting. I hate to say it because the sandwiches themselves weren't bad, but don't think about coming here unless you want to be eating other humans hair in the middle of your sandwich! read more

Stopped by this Meson Sandwich spot right on Narcoossee in the Lake Nona area and enjoyed a fabulous sandwich! If you are indecisive and love sandwiches or breakfast, stop by here! It's a perfect brunch spot with a fusion of Latin touches. They offer breakfast, ALL Day and a large variety of sandwich types from classics to your favorite Cuban or Mojo twist. This is the place and don't forget to try a latte or some Coquito! I ordered the Medianoche sandwich on the Premium menu side. This sandwich contained seasoned pork, ham, pickles, mustard, mayonnaise and Swiss cheese on medianoche bread. It was a beautiful thing, my taste buds were loving it. What I also loved was the mesa croquettes that came along with. I mean, if you're going to order a unique sandwich, you might as well order a unique side instead of the ordinary potato chips or fries. I will definitely stop by again for a latte or even the Coquito advertised on their menu. I'm surprised that I actually avoided it this time. Meson is a home go to... so nice to have a little bit of Puerto Rico nearby. Stopped in before work and decided to order the chicken Caesar salad.... And a side of fries. Fries were so fresh and hot! The salad was fresh and delicious. Quick drive thru service. Staff was very nice. read more

This location should be Embarrassed of themselves. They provided us an incredibly hot and dangerous cup of coffee. We kindly ask them for some type of sleeve or extra cup. The clerk would not give us anything. We asked the manager and he was so rude and unkind that he would've rather refunded us our money than to give us an extra sleeve to protect us from burning ourselves. we needed some type of sleeve or extra cup because we were driving and the cup was too hot to pick up. Walked in and it's not busy. Staff standing around behind the counter and every table in the restaurant is dirty. No napkin holders out so we can't clean one ourselves. Menu said breakfast all day so I ordered it and watched as the staff sputtered around trying to figure if anyone knew how to make breakfast. Food was just ok. Food is fresh and taste great. I recommend the cornmeal, quesitos, cafe latte, sorullitos.
