In July, I purchased a $700 pass for 10 personal training sessions as part of a "summer special", with the promise that a master's-educated trainer would be available. Unfortunately, that trainer never started working at the gym, and I was not informed of this until late September--months after waiting and following up. Despite knowing my schedule, Randy repeatedly suggested trainers who were already fully booked. He then set me up with an unqualified intern who worked at the front desk. When I expressed my concerns, he acknowledged that this wasn't acceptable and offered Pilates as an alternative. However, that turned out to be another false promise, as no sessions or teachers were actually available. After months of back and forth and empty promises, I requested a refund, as it was clear I was not receiving the services I had paid for. Randy initially agreed but then delayed the refund, citing financial excuses like needing to wait until after the "metro gala." By November, I still hadn't received my money, and he stopped responding to my calls and texts entirely. Now it is mid January. This has been a frustrating and disheartening experience, especially as someone in a low-paying position after completing graduate school. I share this in hopes of warning others about this gym and Randy's business practices. If anyone has advice on handling situations like this, I would greatly appreciate your guidance. As an aside, I had a bad experience with a trainer there who was really creepy and asked extremely personal questions. Most of the gym is dedicated to the personal training space. There are never wipes or cleaning supplies convenient or restocked to clean equipment after use.

There were several classes in progress and the machines looked up to date. It was mid day so not as busy as I would expect it will be early or after work. Everything appeared clean and well kept. The process didn't take too long and then the (very nice) lady at the desk, Tisha, showed me how to use the App for finding and booking classes and other information. No pictures, but I've already booked an Aqua class and will schedule an appointment with a fitness trainer to help me learn more about the machines and what classes would be good for me.

Great staff Clean and well maintained My only issue is more of a pet peeve....as a rule most put away their plates after a workout - but enough don't that it's disruptive and some time an issue locating what is need. I would suggest aerating the course as it was rock solid and there was plenty of standing water, though didn't seem to be completely inundated. Course was in decent shape otherwise. We were going to stay for lunch but when we went in, approximately noon, the bartender was the only one working and said she could only make us hot dogs and fries. Luckily, they're close to Wildcat so we made the short drive there for lunch! Would definitely be back and hopefully next time they are staffed a little more in the kitchen

Turns out she is incredibly nasty. Tried to cancel my membership today IN-PERSON and she kicked me out of the gym. Mind you, this has been going on since August. I been trying to reach out to cancel my membership via phone, online, and in-person. Kept getting charges every month. Wouldn't be surprised if they try to charge me again next month lol. I ended up canceling my credit card so they can't get another penny out of me. My honest assessment of this club. It's clean, kind of small but has pretty much everything you need. The members there get along. Everyone does their best to maintain the place. Only problem is the new owner!

I had no problem checking in with my black card membership, stowing my stuff in a locker and then spending some time stretching before doing thirty minutes on the circuit. Shower area was not very well lit and there's no shelf in the shower. I don't like putting my stuff on the floor. An improvement that needs to be made. I've been going to the Westvale location for several years. Recently the get a lot of new equipment…read moreand they took away the 30 minute workout area out and put more free weights. And removed most of the stationary bike with the back on them. Replace them with hard plastic ones. Try riding that for over 30 minutes especially with spinal problems. I do not do free weights. They should consider bringing back some of the equipment that was remove. For now I will be going to a different location that has the old equipment. Best thing about Westvale are the employees
