Her office is comfortable, and has products available to peruse as you wait for your appointment. The main waiting area also has a kids play area - great for parents who bring the little ones with them. Once she was ready for me, she led me back to her office and reviewed my intake form. After discussing my concerns, she took two small drops of blood and put them on a slide. It was super neat seeing my blood under a microscope. Sarah evaluated what she was seeing. She talked through what different things meant, and what to do to encourage or discourage different things. I was in a time crunch that day, so I didn't have the iridology portion, but that was ok. I've been going to Uncommon Practice for 6 months now. I was told pilates was going to change my…read morelife but I didn't realize how big of an impact it would actually have. Being able to do things without pain has been so amazing. I went on a trip and knew that I wouldn't have been able to do a lot of the things I did without Pilates. I have flat feet and an extra bone in one foot. My whole body is misaligned because of it and I have had several injuries that are exacerbated by the severe pronation. Working out has always been difficult, pulling muscles easily, spraining my ankles constantly, and knees slipping out of place with barely any force. Pilates has made it possible for me to strengthen, align, and improve every part of my body, allowing me to live a more functional life, all while in grippy ankle socks.
