If you google Legent…read moreHospital in San Antonio or Legent orthopedic hospital in San Antonio on your cellphone, for the last four days, it takes you to a Turkish language page that has nothing to do ( I guess) with Legent Hospital. It seems someone either has hacked this or there's a program error, so I called the hospital and of course I only got the receptionist/operator. She just said well it's not their responsibility it must be google's problem as I mentioned. I tried to explain to her what might be happening. She did not understand me. I suggested she send a message to her IT team explaining that patients cannot get information about the hospital currently if they're using their mobile phone to search Google. I'm scheduled for surgery in January and I cannot get any information on the hospital. If the hospital doesn't know or seem interested so be it. By the way, I'm a retired systems analyst so I know it's not just a problem for google to identify and fix if the hospital wants to maintain their profit margin. Someone at Legent needs to research it. It must be affecting Customer Service and possibly the bottom line as neither my husband or I on our different phones have been able to get any information about Legent at 1604 and IH 10 in San Antonio, Texas. I'll try my laptop or my desktop see if it's any different but a lot of people do their daily business on their phone. She repeatedly asked if I could walk to the restroom on my own so she didn't have to get a wheelchair, showed me where the trash bags were across the room because I had dropped the one that was on my bed and I couldn't get up to get another one, and when I got back in bed, did nothing to help me cover myself up even though I could hardly move and had many tubes connected to me. I have never been treated this way. It was a horrible, demeaning experience.

His phone number was wrong on the discharge papers, he had left that office 3 months before and no other info. After 5 weeks, I went to a new Dr and his office girl dug into my records and could request my info and put it online. I finally found out my biopsy results!

Check out was just as smooth and meds were sent over to the ER pharmacy. The pharmacy is another story. Shows wait times to be estimated at 15 mins but it took almost an hour (with just about 4 people in the waiting area). This is the third time we have used this location and received 2 separate bills. This will probably be the last time I ever use this facility. Why is it my responsibility to pay the doctor? 1 bill for service, like normal businesses. The company should be responsible for paying the doctor, not me. I didn't like having to do self check in either. A receptionist would have been nice at the front desk to greet patients, instead of feeling lost until someone from the back came out. The customer service was really really good, but the one complaint is I was given a chest xray after I had already said no. That is unacceptable and now I'm literally paying for it.

The next morning, I had a knot on my forearm about the size of a pecan. I started treating it with some antibiotic salve that we had at the house. Over the next couple of days, it became inflamed and started to hurt. Unfortunately, I waited until the redness was covering from my elbow to my wrist. When the swelling started pressing against my arm nerves, I knew I had to get to a doctor. I made the decision about 10 PM on Monday night to go to this new ER. Parking was easy as this used to be a grocery store parking lot. I walked in and found a totally empty waiting room and reception area. I looked around for some way to contact the folks, but everything was closed. In a few minutes a nurse came out to see who had entered, and finding me with a swollen red arm, took me straight back to a treatment room. After taking a medical history, discussion of what happened, and getting my vitals, she had me lie down and went to get a doctor. Upon returning, she asked if I had my phone with me, and finding I did, said I would receive a text and that I needed to follow the directions in the text. I did that, and it amounted to completing all the paperwork that needed to be completed. This was so much better than having to fill out all the paperwork myself. The doctor came in, went over all the same stuff the nurse had done, and indicated that they were going to start me on a very strong antibiotic then, and would write me a prescription for 10 days of the same antibiotic. I was advised not to miss any of the medication (taken 3 times per day) for 10 days. I was also advised to go to my PCP by the end of the week for follow up. He also said that if it got worse, before I got in to see my PCP that I should return to him. So here I am a week after the bite. The medicine has really made a difference in the arm. He warned me that the antibiotic may give me stomach trouble, and he was right. So he has been accurate on all that he said. Will I return? Hopefully I will not need to come back, but if I do need the ER, I definitely will come back here. They did everything I needed.
