I'm beyond angry with how Suarez Physical Therapy treated my wife. She was the patient--not me--but…read moreI'm the one now dealing with the mess they created through their reckless and shady billing practices. They sent a SIX DOLLAR balance to a collections agency without ever contacting us. No call. No email. No bill in the mail. Nothing. Just silence--and then suddenly, we're getting hounded by collections over six bucks. Had they simply told us, we would've paid it immediately. Instead, they chose to damage our credit and harass us over an amount you'd find under a couch cushion. If this is how their billing department operates--without the slightest regard for communication or professionalism--how can anyone trust the way they run their clinical operations? If they're this careless with paperwork, what shortcuts are they taking with patient care? This wasn't just a clerical error--it was a complete failure of basic decency and responsibility. It honestly makes me question whether their license should be under review. No reputable healthcare provider does this. And frankly, I'm skeptical of all the overly glowing reviews they've somehow racked up online. Real businesses don't behave this way. To be clear: we're not upset about the six dollars. We're upset that they never even gave us a chance to pay it. That's not just unprofessional--it's disgraceful. If you're considering Suarez Physical Therapy, think twice. My wife deserved better. So does every other patient.

Wow. Ron Gallagher at Maximum Velocity is the secret "health" sauce more people need to know about!…read moreI've been a nurse for over 20 years, and I have a PhD in Nursing, so I love evidence-based practices. But let's be real--no doctor or therapist has all the answers. Their knowledge is limited by their training, research, and hands-on experience. I should've gone to Ron sooner. I had four very active friends get "fixed" by him after being told to just rest by multiple physicians--lower back pain, slipped discs, bone spurs (osteophytes), plantar fasciitis--you name it. But because he doesn't take insurance, I hesitated. Big mistake. I love running and have been doing lifting group classes for years. Over the last five years, I've dealt with tenosynovitis in my foot, lateral hip pain (trochanteric bursitis), and lower back pain. I chalked it all up to aging and having four kids. I also had frequent urination after having my kids, but I figured that was just part of life after childbirth. Wrong. When I saw Ron, he educated me--he told me there are four levels of training to get the maximum health effect, and most people skip levels without building a proper foundation. That was me. My weak pelvic floor was a major contributor to my hip and lower back pain, and I had no idea. Ron explained that there's little to no treatment for women who've had episiotomies, and a lot of my issues stemmed from not strengthening my pelvic floor properly. What?! Then January hit. I went back to the gym after a month off, had a back day in class, and my lower back killed me afterward. I saw a couple of healthcare providers and was diagnosed with an SI sprain. Again, I was told to rest. I did. After a month, I tried Pilates and yoga. Every time I stretched, it made things worse. Another month passed, and I realized--here we go again, another five months to recover. I was miserable. Sleeping, standing, even walking was a struggle. Finally, I caved and saw Ron. And wow. He spent an hour assessing me, asking about my history, and getting to the root of my problem. I was blown away by how much he knew. Turns out, I kept stretching a weak back when what I really needed was to strengthen it. The exercises he gave me to rebuild my pelvic floor first (before even touching my back and hips) made ALL the difference. Not only does my body feel stronger, but my frequent urination has improved so quickly. Ron explained everything, drew pictures, and helped me understand exactly what was going on with my body. And as a nurse educator, I eat that stuff up. Don't just tell me what to do--teach me the why. Ron promised I'd be back in the gym and running in three weeks. I thought, no way. But here I am, week three--I've already gone on a short run, and I feel amazing. My back feels ten years younger. He also pinpointed why I kept having issues with my left hip and foot. He knows his stuff. He's confident in what he does. Honestly, he's a miracle worker--the kind that saves you from surgery and gives you years back on your body. He's worth every cent. Think about the copays for surgery or the misery of feeling like your body is just breaking down. Forget that. Go see Ron. He WILL fix you. His home exercises, including warm-ups (which, turns out, I was doing all wrong), have completely changed my recovery. I've never bounced back from an injury this fast. Oh, and he helped my friend's teenage daughter too--an elite soccer player who kept having hip issues. As soon as she started strength training with Ron, her pain disappeared. Ron will get you straight and fix you quick. If you're struggling with injuries, stop wasting time. Go see him.

I am so grateful to have found this place. It's worth the investment. You can just use the gym or utilize the much needed biohacking spa as well. They also have additional medical services. Living in the dry and hot climate, surrounded by concrete and noise, it's challenging to take care of myself the way nature intended (red light, hot and cold exposure, oxygen, sound therapy). PWB is a game changer. Also the people that come are focused on OPTIMIZATION, not just looking hot and sitting on their phone between sets. (Which is why I genuinely dispose all other gyms) This is for people who truly care about their long term health and want the best of the best. #nopodcastbros #noselfiequeens I'm afraid to talk about it too much so it doesn't get too busy ;) Sean knows what he's doing. My experience in this gym was less than ideal even though I've been a loyal patron for so long…read more I returned to this gym since I live close to it at that time. I was informed after a month or so that there's an issue with my billing and that this gym is only getting half of my membership fee. I've asked the GM if my fee will remain the same and I was assured that it will. Fast forward to 9 months after. I noticed that I was getting billed twice; One for this gym's fee (original full membership) and another for half the price. After digging through my statements and multiple calls with corporate billing, my account payments prior to the switch was going to two different gyms and that the system never updated to route all payments to the latest frequently visited gym. AF has this system in place to do so. I know this because I've received a notice of this change at other AF gyms before they move my account. That is the concept having a global AF network of gyms and having one fob as it is used for tracking your activity everywhere you go. I've asked this gym about the issue and I was told to call their corporate billing to verify if I'm going to get my money back for the 9mo worth of extra payments. I was told by this gym that AF establishments are independent franchises and that the issue isn't theirs and I should contact the other gym. The other gym/their corporate billing is also saying the same thing that the issue isn't theirs and I should contact the gym that switched my account originally. Mind you as a customer, this has been going on for 1-2 months of back and forth chasing both gyms down for answers. Even to a point of physically going to the gym and asking each GM/owner to coordinate with each other for a resolution. I, having to leave work early just to reach the GM/employee during their work hours. In the end, I never got my money back and have since cancelled my AF membership after 10+ years. I didn't even lose thousands of dollars. They could've just compensated me and marked it as an expense on their end or even suggesting a 9mo free or even discounted membership to compensate for the headache.
