No need to leave the house. they bring everything you need, table, oils, heating pad, cups etc. and you get massaged in the comfort of your own room. All the styles of massage are available but we get the myofascial release. It's a little aggressive if you're just used to a Swedish massage but it really works in making you feel better We get a monthly maintenance massage and my body knows when it's time, I start to get those little aches and pains about 3 1/2 weeks in, just in time to get them massaged away John's very good at what he does. Often I won't say something is bothering me but he picks up on it and works it out. I highly recommend All Star Massage, I tell anyone who mentions they need a massage about his service. So I chose to have a double mastectomy. I am thankful I did not have to get chemo or radiation. In July 2025, I underwent that double mastectomy and chose aesthetic flat closure without implant reconstruction. I had been looking around the area for any modality that I could to help with the scar tissue and adhesions. It took until November 2025 before I found Thérapie Massage. I was booked with Shannon, and she has been a godsend ever since! She has helped loosen all of the scar tissue and uses various modalities to include massage, lymphatic drainage, e-stim, etc. I highly recommend Thérapie Massage and cannot say enough good things! I was visiting family and knew I needed to get this taken care of ASAP. I looked up spas that were close by and found Refresh Massage just down the street. I booked my appointment online for the following hour. When I arrived, I was greeted by Brian (?) who said Sara would be just a moment. The lobby was very clean. They have a menu of services listed along with a note of which services they do not...it was amusing and disturbing that they needed to acknowledge these "requests." Sara came out and showed me to a clean, tidy room. I wasn't sure of which service I needed and after discussing it with her it was decided that the Focus massage would be the best. She did my neck and shoulders over a thin sheet which was not uncomfortable. Towards the end she did use some oil on my neck. She used the perfect amount of pressure for me and she was very kind. When I got back to the house, my daughter mentioned that she goes to Refresh Massage and asks for Sara...She was at work when I made the appointment so I wasn't able to consult her prior. :-) I was very pleased with my experience and I would highly recommend this spa! My head and neck feel amazing today!

The therapists I've worked with have always been knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely attentive. They take the time to listen to my concerns before each session and tailor the treatment accordingly. I always leave feeling significantly better than when I walked in, and that's why I've remained a loyal customer for so many years. Unfortunately, I recently learned that IMR is now charging a 3% surcharge for credit card payments, and I have to say, it really annoys me. In today's world, paying with a credit card is the norm, and accepting those processing fees has traditionally just been part of the cost of doing business. Seeing that expense passed directly on to loyal customers, especially members, was disappointing. I truly enjoy supporting this business and would much rather continue my membership, but this new surcharge has honestly made me question whether I want to keep it. It's unfortunate because the quality of the massages has never been the issue. I sincerely hope they reconsider this policy, because it's the one thing that's making me think twice about continuing as a member.
