This is the third time we have furnished houses with all appliances from Metro. First house we bought the Gallery sink, refrigerator, microwave, washer & dryer, induction oven; second house was refrigerator, microwave, washer & dryer and induction oven. Always have had good service. This time (third) we purchased refrigerator, induction oven, microwave and washer & dryer. On delivery the washer did not work and delivery guys said they had had trouble with that particular brand so I couldn't do laundry. After a week they replaced the washer and different delivery guys told us the same thing - a lot of trouble with this brand. The washer and dryer (both) buttons took about five minutes to start. I literally had to hold the buttons that long to get the W&D to work. We went back to discuss this with our salesman, Clayton K. who said he would talk with manager and let us know. Yes, we could do a trade for a different brand paying the difference + a 50 PERCENT RESTOCKING FEE. Clayton should have disclosed to us the issues they were having on what we were buying. One would think with all the money we have spent over there we would get better treatment. Next time I will go to Hahn Appliances. read more

I sure wish there was another place to shop for the blaze grills. Not our first experience that was lacking customer service and product knowledge. You have to ask for assistance they don't just offer to help you. This isn't a place where you can take the product you want up front and order it. A little assistance would be appreciated. They have good pricing and are one of the only stores that offer some of these outdoor kitchen items. Dan offered to help us and he tried the first time we went in and asked questions about an outdoor kitchen as well. He starts off with he is not the expert on outdoor kitchen appliances and basically just reads the signs to you. We picked out what we wanted and sat down to get an estimate with Dan. I questioned his numbers and he ensured me it was correct and I continued to question it and I was correct. He entered the wrong sku and if I wouldn't not have said a word we would have paid double for what we didn't even ask for. We asked about the grill coming with everything we need and he assured us it did. Well..... you guessed it, the hose that connects the grill to the natural gas spicket that was already built in to the home does not come with the grill. I called Metro Appliance back and spoke with the expert who had to call the Blaze rep and call me back and was not giving me the correct information for what I was asking. I called Blaze myself to get the answers I need. Metro Appliance does not sell what you need to go with the grill so I ordered it off of Amazon for the win and it will be here in a day. If I never have to walk in this store again I would be a very happy camper. The attitude you get from the gentleman sitting at the desks when you first walk in and the lack of effort or interest to assist is unacceptable. read more

Ordered two appliances in early January. Was told they would be delivered before the end of the month. Salesperson called a week and a half ago to tell me that both appliances were in and installer would setup a time for installation. Installation was scheduled for arrival Tuesday. Installer called on Tuesday at the time of the scheduled install and said he didn't have one of the appliances. He told me he would figure out what happened and get back to me. Nearly a week later and I have not heard from the installer or Metro. They took my money when I placed the order. This has been a miserable experience. :-( read more

I went into Tulsa store on Monday; March 3 to purchase a Kitchenaide Microwave and Electrolux washer and dryer. I walked around looking at the appliances but never had anyone ask me if I needed help nor even Hello. Several sales associates walked by me but they avoided eye contact. Most were men in their 30's maybe late 20's. They need more interpersonal skills training. I finally left feeling like my business was not wanted. I purchased a Kitchenaide Microwave dual oven (electric) and gas cooktop from Metro several years ago as well as Kitchenaide dishwasher. Last time I will bother to shop there. read more

After a couple of less than impressive visits over the years, we stopped back in at Metro during a recent kitchen remodel. This was a floor to ceiling reno with everything new except the dishwasher, which was too new (and expensive) to replace. Plenty of appliances to select from, and after being greeted, we were pretty much left to our own devices to prowl the store, which was greatly appreciated. Once we made our choices, our salesman Trey took care of us. Appliances were delivered on time and stored in our garage until we were ready for them. Once that time arrived, Metro arranged for the installers to show up and complete the task, on time as scheduled. Overall, I can't think of a single negative thing about the entire experience with Metro, and that's pretty uncommon for me. read more

My new refrigerator had "dimples" on the left upper side of the stainless steel. When I need to make a major purchase or repair, I search every available review source for reference. Angie's list and Home Advisor are terrible sources. Don't use them! Yelp, not the best either. Not a fan of Google, but for services and large purchases I have had the best luck using their reviews when picking a merchant or contractor. Replacing my dishwasher may be a good example. On Yelp, the few reviewers rated the Metro at 2.5 overall. Google on the other hand rated Metro rated at 4.6 with 490 reviews. Like it or not, those 490 points of information are more representative than 23 reviews from Yelp. Now for me. I already had experience with Metro. In 2015 we purchased all of our installed appliances for our new house, from Metro. I was very happy with how the deal went. That is why I went back this week. I went into Metro, Monday and told Cory I need a new dishwasher "stainless on the outside, stainless on the inside, and most of all QUIET!" I was hoping for another Bosh, unfortunately ....found out it would be an 8 month wait. That won't fly. Went with the upper end model Kitchen Aid which, had comparable features and was only 2db louder that the old Bosh. Very competitive price. It was "in stock" and as of today (3 days later) it is "installed." Unfortunately, [-1 star] Metro does not have their own install crews. They can refer you to good, local third-party installers. They did and it worked out fine! read more

Have a GE dishwasher that leaks after only a few months. Metro advised me to contact GE about repair. GE turned me over to a sub. Sub diagnoses problem but doesn't order parts (confirmed by GE). GE tells me to to tell Metro to ask for replacement unit from them. Metro says that they "cannot" do that. So I am told by the manufacturer one thing and Metro another. Meanwhile no working dishwasher, will be another two weeks before anyone does anything. My advice is to ask questions, dig to find out who does what and most of all buy from a dealer who will actually do something. read more

She followed up with me on her day off, securing 1 of the 4 available refrigerators in the region. Bought a Fridgidaire Professional (what a joke) oven from them and it does not cook properly. Repairman has come out twice and replaced 4 parts and still not working correctly. Here is the big problem...Metro Appliance says it is my responsibility to get the manufacturer to authorize replacement and they do not do that function. The product was just over 30 days old when I first reported it to the salesman at Metro Appliance that it was not working correctly. They are great for the sale but don't expect product help after the sale. And buyer beware, they own Hahn also. read more

We had a dent in the door of a professional refrigerator when it was delivered in April 2021. I spoke with a salesman to get it replaced at that time. When I asked about it every couple of months, he kept telling me he was checking on it and that it is taking a couple of months to get the replacements. Twelve months later and he just told me today (April 26.2022) that he had never ordered it previously so we will have to continue to wait a couple more months. They may be nice when you go to purchase, but once they have your money, they are HORRIBLE. My suggestion to to stay FAR away from this place. read more

The appliance showroom quickly stops you in your tracks. If your kitchen is where you want some "pop" - this is a choice appliance store to visit. Upon arrival, the receptionist asked what I was interested in and asked if I needed help. I was told to continue looking around and that I'd be found by a sales person. The variety of appliances offered is rivaled in town by only one store. I was selecting high end appliances for a new home and explored the store. Ashley introduced herself about 5 minutes later. We discussed what I was looking for, what the home looked like and then we walked the store. I was educated. Ashley knew a great level of detail about each appliance, knew the specifics on service and reliability, the details on usefulness and had pointers on what to do and not do regarding style. These appliances were going in a new home and I was looking for "pop." I researched on my own - reliability, efficiency, engineering. I went back to Ashley with several different options and requested pricing. She helped me each and every time - no issues and was timely about it. In the end I migrated back to her original recommendations, bumping up the levels of some of the appliances but basically staying within her original recommendations. Ashley knows her stuff... Appliances are now set to be delivered. If installation goes as smoothly as the buying experience - it's a no brainer. Go to Metro. If no update - all went well. Ask for Ashley. read more

I would NOT recommend this company at all. They are more interested in MONEY and ripping their customers off than in customer service. We purchased a Bosch dishwasher in 2012. It was outside the warranty period. We took the dishwasher ourselves into the service department. It took over a week before we heard anything.. The technician called us and said that the pump had overheated and was loud. We authorized the replacement of the $80.00 part. He said there was evidence of mice but could not tell us what the actual cause of the pump overheating was. He called and said he had checked out the unit and it was working fine. When we went to pick up the unit, he had charged a Diagnostic charge of $50.00 even though we had taken it in. However, when we got the unit home and went to install the unit, we found the cause of the problem. Yes there was evidence of a mouse. It was still there draped over the motor.. If we had not noticed it, it would have happened again. We went back to the service department and explained what we had found, and the manager of the service department said it was not their responsibility to check out the unit, even though they charged a $50.00 diagnostic charge. NO ONE had even checked out the unit even though they said they had. I work for Woodstock Cabinet Company here in Tulsa and we will not be recommending Metro to our customers. My husband works for American Airlines and he will not be recommending them to any of his co-workers. We asked for the $50.00 fee to be returned but Brian, the service manager, said that he would not do that. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT METRO. Sherry Wright read more

I specifically asked if there was something I could do to fix my washer myself. Instead a service man was sent and fixed the issue within 30 seconds. Terrible service on repair of appliances purchased there. 3 attempts to repair range and they cancelled appointment today due to employee problems. This is the 3rd day I've taken off work to make this happen. They offered nothing especially after the technician ordered the wrong parts twice. Also, when scheduling to set up repair day you always get an answering machine thus requiring you to play phone-tag all day to even schedule repair. We replaced an old refrigerator with a Whirlpool refrigerator from Metro Builders last fall in 2019 at our home on Grand Lake in Oklahoma. Whoever delivered our refrigerator and set it up obviously did not know what they were doing. Not only did they not notice that the freezer was missing a shelf, there was no air filter in the unit either. We have experienced a lot of problems with the refrigerator freezing vegetables such as lettuce, radishes and various fruits. This morning we saw that the freezer part was now frosting up. Metro does not do service at Grand Lake and referred me to call the Whirlpool hotline for service since we are still under warranty. After 26 minutes on hold I finally hung up. We just now discovered that there was a small piece of styrofoam stuck on each door of both the fridge & freezer preventing the doors from properly closing all this time that should have been removed by the people setting up the refrigerator. In the future I think I would buy at Lowe's in Grove as they have people in the area all the time. read more

Bought a whirlpool refrigerator with ice maker on 8.4.17. Refrigerator was delivered on 8.10 but no ice maker. Surprise! No communication from Metro concerning this. According to delivery man I should have been notified. Called Delivery and talked to a Roe who was laughing about it and said he had the paperwork on his desk in front of him. Asked several questions concerning the missing ice maker and was told by Roe, "I don't know, didn't ask them." HOW PROFESSIONAL! Said the icemaker would be in the next week and they would install at my convenience. Roe called today 8.16 and still not in. Said next week now. Never had this problem with them before after buying microwave and dishwasher. Roe needs to go. Am filing a complaint with BBB Tulsa tomorrow. Stay away from Metro and save yourself a headache and go to Lowes, Home Depot or Hahns. read more

Everyone at this store except the sweet young men that delivered the washer and dryer to my mother's condo were completely unprofessional. My mom went in a week before making her purchase and gave the sales lady her measurements of the unit she was wanting to buy the following week. She asked the sales lady to please look and find a stackable unit with the proper measurements and she would be back in one week to make her purchase when she had some time off work. She went back to make her purchase and this had not been done. The sales lady, Theresa (Teresa) found something, she made the purchase then set up for a delivery. Upon delivery, the young men and my mom, discovered the unit would not fit. New measurements were taken, this were inaccurate also. When my mom insisted her measurements were correct, which they admitted they were, those were used to find another unit. Upon the second delivery, the installation employees told her she would have to call a plumber because they were unable to unhook the current unit to install the unit. She called a plumber. She asked them to stay for just a few minutes but they insisted their supervisor had instructed them to come back later. He was put on the phone and yelled at my 70 year old mother and told her "We have customers waiting". Rude. The plumber arrived within minutes after their departure.We were told, AND he showed us that the service call was unnecessary. My mom was very upset at this point and I had called the store to speak to Teresa and her brother the store manager a couple of times to be certain they were coming back to install. At the time of my 2nd phone call, I asked for a refund and we would make a purchase elsewhere. Aaron insisted he would make it right and was very convincing they would arrive no later than 4:00 p.m. They came back at around 6:00p.m. I tried to call the following Monday to ask for a refund of the plumber cost and was told the manager was out until Thursday. After a conversation with him, he told me he would have to speak directly to the plumber and my mother about reimbursement. He never apologized, he never even offered a discount, store credit, nothing. He was very demeaning and downright manipulative. Poor customer service, unethical and rude. No thanks. read more

I recently purchased a dishwasher and was pleased with the service provided. The sales person was very knowledgeable and professional. He understood what I was looking for and did not push me to buy a higher end dishwasher with options I did not want or need. I scheduled delivery and installation and found the serviceman to be friendly and professional. He arrived on time and gave me a courtesy call 30 minutes before his arrival. He removed the dishwasher being replaced and took it with him for disposal. Once the new dishwasher was installed he ran the dishwasher to ensure it was working and gave me direction on how to operate. I have purchased a washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove and microwave in the past as well as the most current purchase of this dishwasher and have always been pleased with the staff and service at Metro. read more

My initial review would be great because their sales and delivery was fantastic. That was until my 3 day old refrigerator had issues. I awoke to a river of water in my kitchen when the ice makers evaporator froze and all the ice it had made was melting. After 3 trips spanning 11 weeks without proper parts to fix it, they decided they would need to take it in for repair. Metro showed up unannounced or scheduled to bring me a loaner and took mine in for repair. My purchased refrigerator was 28.9 cu. ft. w/ ice maker and water dispenser yet my loaner is a 14.4 cu. ft w/o any amenities, freezer had no shelves and the entire unit was dirty with mold and I had to clean it. IF you call their office and get connected with the repair department, you will NEVER get a live voice. You will always get voice mail that will not be returned that same day, no matter how early you call. It's been a week and I still do not have my refrigerator back so this isn't resolved but I wanted to warn potential buyers/shoppers. read more

After leaving messages on their customer service answering machine (oh by the way - if you call the only phone number that is affiliated with the store, they give you a phone number for their service department because they cannot transfer your call - SAVE that number because you will need it again - trust me). After three messages, finally got a call back. Two months later - service man came. Couldn't fix it. Charged service call. Has to order a "special" fuse which will take 7-10 days with another confirmed service call charge. Another week plus without a functioning appliance. If you appliance isn't under warranty - don't call these guys to fix it. It will be a big headache. I like their showroom and products, but their service department weighs the customer experience down. read more

Within the last month, we purchased kitchen appliances for our new home from Metro Appliance. The sales rep was not very helpful with the process and seemed to be quite put out with having to answer questions that I had. Upon moving into our new home, I tried out the new ovens and one was slow to preheat, but seemed to work otherwise. Today, that oven did not work properly. It took over 1 hour to preheat the oven to 325 degrees, then the heat decreased to 180 degrees. I called Metro Appliance and was told to call the GE repair line because GE repairs have to be done by a certified GE repairman or the warranty is voided. I explained the situation to GE & and the earliest appointment they had was Dec. 5 - 10 days from today. I again called Metro to ask if they had another oven like mine in stock, which they did. Since the oven they delivered was defective, I thought they should replace it with a new oven. The sales rep I worked with originally, informed me I could come pick up another oven, but that they would not deliver it. I spoke with other Metro representatives and was told they would not deliver the new oven and that I should call GE. I would not recommend purchasing anything from Metro Appliance. All they are interested in is getting your money. Customer service is definitely not good. read more
