Beware of these thief's, do not take your car to Metro Auto Center in any circumstance. They tried to repair our 2007 truck that had over 200,000 miles and it was so obvious that it should have been totaled. They pull your car apart, one part at a time and give a cheap estimate to the insurance company and then they keep charging more as they work on the car and it's too late for the insurance company to back out of it and total the car, a true rip off. We took the truck in thinking these guys are good based on their reviews, they told us that the car was going to be totaled due to its condition and how severe the accident was. A week later they told us that the insurance company adjuster has given them the green light to repair the car and that it won't be totaled but they said they were going to use all new and original parts. We talked to the insurance adjuster and she mentioned that the body shop owner told them that we asked for the car to be repaired at any cost and that we agreed that they use used parts from a junk yard which was a big lie, I specifically asked him if it would even be worth fixing it and he claimed that it was up to the adjuster. We finally realized what kind of scam they are playing and therefore we decided to take the car to a legit body shop. Once I went to remove my truck they charged me $2,000 in storage fees for the 10 days that they had the car and a $200 deductible for returning the parts that they "supposedly ordered". If they would have ordered original parts from the dealer there wouldn't have been a restocking fee. They would not let me take my car out until I paid the fee. I took my car to another mechanic shop and right away they pulled everything apart and estimated almost 4 times the price that was quoted by these thief's and the car is now totaled. Due to excessive damage and the fact that the repairs would actually cost almost double what the car is worth. I'm just glad that I didn't keep my car there for them to charge the insurance the same amount through time and have a salvaged title car that was put together by cheap parts from a junk yard. read more

After getting quotes from several larger, high volume establishments, I decided to drop by Metro Auto Center, Inc. Okay, the place is a classic example of you can't judge a book by its cover. It's small and crowded. I had my reservations for sure, but Omid examined the damage on my vehicle and told me the same thing the bigger chains did, only giving me an estimate nearly half of what they were saying. He explained what had to be done in no uncertain terms and promised they could get the job done quickly as well. He also answered all my questions. As I'm due to turn the lease vehicle back in soon, I decided to go with Metro because I got a good feeling from Omid that he was a man of his word. He promised me the repairs would take four days and you know what... it took four days! When I went to pick up my SUV, I thought it was brand new. Not only were the repairs perfect, but they also essentially detailed my ride. I have two dogs and all the pet hair was removed, the inside was also polished, cleaned and smelled brand new. They threw in a car wash as well. I have to turn this back in to the dealership! Much like seeing a doctor for a serious condition, I honestly hope I don't have to see Omid again at his workplace, but if I do, Metro is the only place I'll entertain doing work on my vehicle. Just got my car done and couldn't be happier!! Great service from start to finish w/ friendly service. They fixed what I thought was irreversible damage on my roof in the promised time of about 2-3 days. Even cleaned the inside afterwards!! They really go above and beyond to cater to the customer. Metro Auto Center's estimate was less than Geico's estimate. They even added fixing damaged front bumper. They actually found it unfixable once started, so they replaced at no extra charge. The job was excellent and quick. If I need auto body job, I will definitely go back there. The work itself was minor and was done with no issue. He overcharged me and did not honored his original quote after the repair was done!. I had to changed my car's passenger mirror and I took my car to this shop. He quoted me $300 and took $200 deposit. When I went back to install it, he surprised me with some unexpected charges including ~$280 for a part, $60 for a paint, ~55 tax and ~$40 labor. (+420) I asked why he is not honoring his quote and he said that that was only for a part which is not true. I did shop around and I asked him for the total and to I got it in written, when he noted my $200 deposit. He did not honor it anyways and it was too much hassle for me so I decided to just pay and leave. He took part of labor out and I ended up paying $400. read more

Dealer service, without the dealer price. I bought my 2008 CLS 550 Mercedes and regretted it the first time I got it serviced at the dealership. I have always been told that high end cars need to be serviced by dealerships, because of their "expertise". I basically paid $250-$500 for an oil change, which they get away with all too often by calling it "service A" or "service B". All of that aside, I received my car back with dents on the passenger side doors, WTF! the dents went unnoticed because the car was in the garage the whole weekend. I took it in to the dealership 3 days later, and they basically said it wasn't their problem and quoted me $1800 to fix the dents! So naturally I did my research and decided to go to Metro Auto Center to get another quote, and have never looked back. Not only did they make my car look as good as new, for half the price the dealer quoted, but it also put an end to that crazy dealership "myth". I know. Other Mercedes Benz owners might not have had the same nightmare of an experience I had. But just trust me, save your money! Go to Metro Auto Center. You get quality professional service without the crazy dealership invoice! I just wish I knew this earlier. =/ read more

ok this is a long story but i feel like i need to explain my experience at another shop (which i will be reviewing poorly) and how metro auto center came to the rescue. so i went through yelp and found a shop with great reviews(all of them were positive) so i decided to give them a try i went and spent hundreds of dollars to fix the car. the car was shaking and when they did a full diagnostic they said i needed a whole bunch of things. i really should of gotten a second opinion but i put faith in the yelp reviews about this other shop. ive been there a total of three times (in three weeks) and at the third visit he said i needed something else fixed and added more on the bill i had already paid in full. at this third visit i decided i had a enough. i was going to take my car for a second opinion. i went to metro auto center and told them about my situation and how i lost trust and probably money at this other place. they were really nice and compassionate about my situation and i really appreciated that and most importantly they fixed my car at a fraction of the price and my car is as good as new. im very thankful for them and highly recommend this place. read more

Went in around noon for an estimate for some damage to the front of my car. While the employees present couldn't speak English, they were extremely polite and helpful; definitely the best part of this business. Once they managed to get the owner for me, it all went downhill. He was extremely rude and condescending, was seemingly annoyed that I did not know the full nature of the damage to the car, and was clearly in a rush to leave, even though I had called ahead. The actual price of the repair would have been okay, a little on the higher end but not unreasonable, however, I much prefer to deal with someone who can treat customers with respect than the man who runs this business, and I recommend you do the same. read more
