The long and short is it crashed halfway through an OS update and hasn't worked since. Julian contacted me after a Yelp query - I figured I'd retry and was ready to ship this thing somewhere for repair (again, I tried everything before with no luck). After I explained what was happening, he said, "We'll get you up and running, Tony, don't worry". He heard me out and sent me step-by-step triage and recovery instructions, which worked perfectly. He called about an hour later to check on me, and I was beyond happy he resolved the issue; I didn't have to leave my crib, and it was done within an hour (after letting it sit for years). Everything worked perfectly. I have my computer and electronics handyman for all future work. See my review distribution. I'm very fair and will call out less-than-desirable service. Likewise, when someone earns solid recognition for professionalism and providing the service advertised - they should get a shoutout. Julian, you rock!

Xfinity kept telling me the "new" box was going to easily pump wifi through my whole house. It never worked and we had multiple dead spots in our house, where wifi never reached. We ended up trying several things, included a second network setup using Google Nest routers. That also didn't work great and we suffered for years. So finally got fed up, and I called BATH and told Ari what the issue was. He gave me a budget, which I bristled at, at first. Then he walked me through a likely fix, which involved a couple routers networked so that I had independent wifi running on both floors of the house but on the same network. The tech came by and was super nice, and walked me through what they were going to do. I was cautiously optimistic. When they were done? I almost cried at how well everything ran through my house. They even set me up so I had ethernet directly to my gaming PC, and direct into my TV and Xbox. I have not had a single issue since (beside Comcast caused outages), and have blazing fast wifi throughout the house (I pay for the gigaspeed Xfinity). I'm finally utilizing the speed as sold to me by Xfinity. Thanks so much BATH. I really appreciate it. I was super impressed with the emails, the invoices, techs being on time, and just the overall professionalism. It was worth the extra few bucks.

Since they seem to handle a lot of corporate-scale installations, I initially wondered if my project might be too small--but that concern disappeared pretty quickly. The team was already very familiar with Ubiquiti systems and was incredibly patient working with me despite my fairly basic understanding. They walked me through the tradeoffs and ultimately recommended stepping up from mid-range equipment to more professional-grade options. The reasoning was clear, the cost/benefit made sense, and at no point did I feel pressured--just well-advised. The actual Ethernet installation work was top-notch--smurf tubing, recessed (not sticking out!) enclosures, and everything. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is honestly beyond what I would normally expect (or even feel comfortable demanding from contractors). They went above and beyond without being asked, and the cable organization is immaculate. Adam came out from Zencom and quickly assessed the situation, spoke the language of my security company and developed a plan to replace the fire damaged cabling. Within a very short time, he obtained the necessary supplies and had the replacement installed in less than a day. More impressively, he came back and spent hours making sure all the cameras were back up, correcting minor issues he came across with my initial installation and left me in a much better situation than I was in even before the fire. Utterly terrible service. The Hoodlums workings in the store dont know how to do their jobs, they act as if theyre doing charity for their customers. They even charge additional money from the monthly bill for "service". What service? accepting money and putting it into an account...oh dear. a 2nd grader could press a button and do that. but than again, Id prefer a second grader doing that than a group of untrained/unprofessional morons. Another thing. Half the time, my phone blacks out of the Metro PCS network DURING paid months. And I pay my bills. Its funny how a back-water company from the East Coast and Texas is trying to mooch off Middle Class Americans and goes as far as hiring illiterate idiots who swindle customers. A prime example is that I was charged 50$ more for a phone that was 30$. So I paid around almost 100$ for a 30$ phone. Go figure. And it wasnt my "attitude", in fact I think I was more polite and courteous than the entire staff (if you can call them that) put together. What a joke. Avoid this place at all cost. Been going to this store for 5+ years now and the service I've received here has been excellent the entire time. Anyone that has ever helped me, have been great. I just created a Yelp account because I wanted to give a great review to their manager but the workers told me that a Yelp review would be better. I actually read the rest of the reviews on here and i know for a fact that most of it is inaccurate. I've seen the workers here been treated badly by customers for numerous reasons such as wanting to get a replacemenr for a phone that has a cracked screen? You can't do that with any company so I'm not sure why the other customers expects that to happen here. I really like this store and have recommended it to my friends and family. read more

I was very pleased with Deborah, when she took care of me yesterday. She spent a good half hour on the phone, on my behalf, making sure that I will get a phone replacement based on my insurance plan. She filled up the necessary forms and explained every detail to me. Today, I was helped by Zierel Breedlove Jr. who also took excellent care of setting up my new phone and going over all my apps making sure that all my contacts and photos from my previous phone were properly transferred to my new one. read more

I've been a customer of Metro for almost 20yrs since back when people made fun of u for having Metro & coverage was spotty at best. I gave a friend a ride to this location yesterday 6/23/22 to start service & buy a phone, I've lost count of how many customers Metro has now that are people I personally referred to them- you're welcome... While there I needed to speak with them since it seems Metro has no problem taking my payments & shutting me off if I'm a minute late on that payment but they seem to have a serious problem with providing me with the service I pay for. I'm without service about half the time but paying for full time-I'm not too elated about that. Add to that a few months back I was over charged $50-$70 a month for several months that they never credited my acct or attempted to make right in any way, just pocketed several hundred dollars of mine & started providing half ass service at full price. There was 3 employees, 2 gals & a guy so naturally I get stuck with the gal who's got a subtle yet present attitude. She says my service is suspended that's why I had no service. I explained this wasn't just happening right now- today & showed her about 15 screen shots of times my service was out in the last month for no reason. I also pointed out when I walked in I was on my phone finishing up a phone call, I had requested a 3 day extension a few hours earlier so I could speak with them before paying my bill. She suggests a network reset on my phone- ok, she's the one who SHOULD know what she's doing. Gives my phone back & while I'm waiting for my friend to finish up I realize I've got no service. I tell her, she says it's cuz my bill's due I remind her I'm only 6hrs into my 3 day extension, I brought my phone in working so she needed to get it back in the condition she received it in.. She calls the service line says, "the customer got a 3 day extension this morning, it was working & now it's not."... She conveniently left out the part where it was fine until she reset it. Had she told me resetting the network would somehow void my 3 day extension, I'd have waited but she didn't. That's the kind of customer service I suppose one might receive from AT&T or Verizon, etc. I went to sit with my friend after 10mins of just standing there not acknowledged at all. I think she thought I couldn't hear her from where I was & she asks them unrelated particulars about my acct..never relayed it to me so I assume she was just nosy..not professional. While sitting with my friend while he was sending texts to people with his new number, I told him that it was funny how she didn't mention to the support people that she reset my phone & if it took much longer I was going call them myself, she wasn't getting much accomplished in the 15mins she had been on the phone with them already. A few seconds later she says, "I don't know why it's not working cuz I did the reset on the phone not in our computer system. So u can call customer service line yourself to see if u can get it fixed cuz I don't know." I agreed & said, "It's clear u don't know what ur doing, if u did I wouldn't have walked in here with a working active phone & leaving with a useless paper weight. I'm leaving worse off than I was when I arrived, how can u still be snarky when u killed my phone 6hrs into my 3 day extension, didn't tell the support people u screwed up my extension when u reset my phone & acted like I never said ur the 4th attempt I've made to get my acct credited or a refund of several months of over charges. I'll call them & with zero effort do a better job at ur job then u." As she raised her nose as far as possible into the air, said ok & went to stare at her WORKING phone..must be nice. I'm certain if it were her phone this was happening with, she'd expect to have a functioning phone when she left LIKE A CUSTOMER SHOULD. A lady at the customer service center was quite correct in her response to my experience in the store, "I'm so sorry, it seems sometimes our in store employees -even tho they directly deal with our customers to face, forget how important our customers are. I'd like the address of the location u went to so we can remind the staff there & make sure they understand without our customers, we have no company anymore."... Unfortunately, I got disconnected from her & in the next 9 FOLLOWING PHONE CALLS never got her again...maybe that's cuz she's good at her job so y'all cut her off before she helped too many people & we'd start expecting any sort of help/service from ur company other than an obnoxious automated broad that can't accept no for an answer to help

We moved into our new home in January 2025 with a home warranty through Old Republic. From the moment we moved in, our washer and dryer didn't work. We're a family of five -- three kids who wear school uniforms and play sports daily (hello, endless laundry), and two working parents who work out daily and also need clean clothes for work. Laundry isn't a convenience for us -- it's a necessity. We contacted Mr. Appliance immediately -- that was FOUR MONTHS ago. In that time, we have not had a single week with a fully functioning washer and dryer. The first technician came out twice, ordered parts, and made no progress. We waited weeks. Then a second technician took over and came out SEVEN different times. Each time, he ordered more parts. Each time, nothing worked. At one point, the technician admitted he might have completely broken our dryer during one of the failed repair attempts. We later learned his manager told him he'd be financially responsible for the unit if he did -- and instead of acting professionally, the technician guilt-tripped us about it. In an even more bizarre and unprofessional turn, that same technician was made to come back by his boss on a Saturday which was his day off and a day he had his daughter or else he'd have to pay for the dryer-- so he brought his daughter with him. Yes, his daughter -- to our home, during a service call. Completely unacceptable! Eventually, after waiting, confusion, and zero resolution, Old Republic cashed us out for the washer -- only because it was clearly beyond the scope of anyone at Mr. Appliance to fix it. We are STILL without a working dryer. Old Republic has now sent out another company, for a "2nd opinion" who (of course) ordered more parts, and we're back in the waiting game. Mr. Appliance has replaced on our dryer the heating element, thermostats, motor and now the new company says it needs to order new bearings for the dryer tub. Old Republic has probably spent well over $1k which is over the value of a new machine. We've spent four months dragging laundry baskets to family members' homes and laundromats while working full-time, managing three busy kids, and receiving absolutely no compassion, urgency, or accountability from anyone involved. Mr. Appliance is a disaster of a company -- careless, disorganized, and completely lacking in professional standards. And Old Republic Home Warranty? They're no better. They assign these third-rate vendors, leave families hanging, and offer no oversight when things spiral out of control. Save yourself the months of frustration, the constant rescheduling, the unanswered calls, and the emotional drain. STAY FAR AWAY from Mr. Appliance -- and if you have Old Republic Home Warranty, just pray you never need to use it.
